I say the same shit about baskerzieks always but with Klint being a much more fucked up person than he was on the surface I truly believe that despite his worries about protecting his loved ones, and his fear for what the truth would do to them, his wife matched his freak

Of course she was as absolutely off the rails as he was.

It is just part of the tragedy that Klint being fiercely protective meant never telling her the truth for fear of hurting her. Did she have moments like Ryunosuke does in 2-4 where Kazuma is gone and you know something is wrong but he just won't TALK to you???? Fuck man

Having Kazuma thoughts this morning.

If the Professor case evidence were released... Would he want his father's ring? Even knowing it was briefly inside his mentor's brother's body (not the only thing of Genshin's to enter Klint's body)

Anyways, would Kazuma keep the ring? Wear it? Display it? (In either case Barok may still be on edge around it, even if it was falsified evidence) Pawn it off? ((Kureki would probably be mad about that, even if her family didn't make the ring too - she appreciates all metalwork!))

There may be a fic out there that explores the premise...and even if so....perhaps I'll add one more.

Herlock - alchemist artificer. Maybe with one single level in bard (he can play the violin and also I need him to have vicious mockery)

Ryunosuke - college of eloquence bard

Kazuma - samurai fighter. However he also has warlock vibes for reasons I cannot and will not explain. Idk what patron I'd give him tho.

Gina - thief rogue

Susato - I'm thinking a monk of some description (way of mercy perhaps?) Or aberrant mind sorc (miktobas are psychics)

Iris - artillerist artificer. Partially bc I want her to have the same main class as sholmes, partially because she does invent that smoke gun, and partially just because I think a 10 y/o artillerist would be funny

Stronghart - Clockwork soul sorcerer

Klint - oath of vengeance paladin

Love headcanoning Klint as someone with a short temper because it's not the sort of thing you say about a dead man who was, by all means, known as a kind and dearly loved person who did a lot of good in his life. But I think it parallels Kazuma well and contrasts Barok's "constantly grumpy" with a more "constantly smiley but watch out"
