Warning for US fans ordering Silverborn from the UK
As of today, Waterstones and Blackwell’s will not be shipping any orders to the US. The wording on their websites are:
We regret that we are currently unable to accept or ship orders to the US, while we establish options to be compliant with the new tariffs. [Waterstones Delivery FAQ]
and
Due to recent Tariffs imposed by the U.S, we have made the decision to temporarily stop taking orders from there. This will also impact any outstanding orders yet to be shipped. We are working hard to limit the impact this has on our customers and hope to have you back shopping with us very soon. [Blackwell’s Delivery FAQ]
As far as I can understand, orders are just on hold, not cancelled. Hopefully things will be fixed by May 8th (or beforehand, so the preorders can be sent out before that date). There is a chance we might see some price increases though. I don’t know if any indie bookstores will follow suit.
