So, her name is Bette. She is a colony kid whose colony had issues sustaining life/the UNSC said the soil wasn’t able to sustain plant life, and she took that personally and over her childhood worked to make the soil work for a medical garden for the hospital.

Artemis was most assuredly focused as much on the conversation as she was her sniper rifle. It was easy enough to balance her attention between the two. Particularly as the conversation was only a casual one, and that didn’t render it of too much importance, as a result.

“More like I was figuring something out. I think I have my answer.” A corner of her lips twitched upwards into a smirk. “The fun part is trying to work out what Spartan-II team you served on.”

That factor was less obvious to her. Yes, she’d worked with Spartan-IIs before, on occasion. However, those team configurations were drastically different. And one of them… well, he’d been the sole Two on a team of Threes. So it was easy enough to say that she didn’t know the particulars of Spartan-II team dynamics.

Aside from that, she didn’t particularly know how many Spartan-II teams there even were. The numbers were far lower than that of the Threes, but team sizes of Threes could vary from three to six, with an average of four. With the Twos?

Hard to say.

     A curious twitch from Linda’s focus form.  Clearly, she wasn’t the only on pay attention to the details between the body language of the other.   The fun part that she said, was an interesting statement to Linda.  A quizzical brow raised, Linda pondered for a moment if it was tell tail signs of which two teams she served with.

     Such a thought made her chuckle for moment.  The pad of configurations had been lain down as Linda was figuring out new configuration.  She was quick to follow her train of thought.

“Enlighten me, with you train of thought?” A quick response as she worked away.
