my fav quote from any fanfiction ever. still very high up there in my heart when compared to published books. right next to “is there such a thing as a fatal flaw, that showy dark crack running down the middle of a life” and “it is a glory as a privilege to love what death doesn’t touch” which says a lot considering the latter were written by a pulitzer winning author. i am saying that halfpromise needs a pulitzer.

Quite possibly one of the best known and most iconic monologues in halfpromise's lawlight fic "those who stand for nothing fall for anything"
Guys go read it it'll change your life I promise

It’s not about outward appearances but inward significance. A grandeur in the world, but not of the world, a grandeur that the world doesn’t understand. That first glimpse of pure otherness, in whose presence you bloom out and out and out.

my governor scares me so bad like that’s literally light yagami. white yagami, if you will

It's obviously staged. But it's better to pose with some formerly banned books instead of a bunch of guns or an animal you just shot "for fun."
