do you have any books about the Manhattan side of the war? If not, what are your recommendations for learning about the Mt. Othrys side?
First of all, my apologies. I was going to record the answer for this ask but NRHA's camera broke down.
Unfortunately, we don't have access to CHB's records as Chiron refused to lend them to Camp Jupiter's possession and the records NRHA has access to doesn't cover the amount of Titan army paperwork the legion got hold off. Some of them are still classified and is locked somewhere in Principia and there's talks of them going missing during the time former augur Octavian was in charge.
I might try digging around again for them in NRHA's archive for you, though.
I mentioned both On Traitors: An Essay by K. Marcus and The Siege of Mt. Tam by A.C. Albus before. There is also A Collection by H. Amadeus, she collected all the reports she had written as the official scribe for the Senate and donated the non classified ones to NRHA the day former pontifex maximus Jason Grace got raised on the shield of his preatorly duties.
Though, I must warn you to read them with a critical eye and be aware that they are biased to some degree or other.
I think your best bet would be ask around the former and current legionnaires who were around at that time. You may also try to find Saturn's army's demigods. If there is any alive left that is.

Happy Stabbings!
Friendly reminder: On this Ides of March, just like every other day of the year, real weapons are prohibited inside the senate and the city borders. You, however, may get decorated plastic ones for the occasion.

Hi Arnold!! Do you know if any of the legionnaire's had ever been associated with/were in Kronos' army?
Hi anon!! Thank you for asking
Short answer, yes there were some, and I knew some of them personally. For future reading, I would recommend "On Traitors: An Essay" by K. Marcus.[1] An interesting read, though it very much shows that it was written right after Saturn's throne got toppled.
Now for the long answer. The defections started before the duration of the Second Titan war, and though there is not a clear date on it as of now, my supervisor guesses approximately 8 years ago. Around %15 of the current legionnaires had defected; that makes it roughly 30. Though the full number of people who went missing without any notice is 37.
Camp Jupiter as in whole lost %40 of its members and former members to treason. %25 of that was former legionnaires who retired to New Rome and those who left the camp altogether to live in the mortal world.
While the current reports that NRHA has access to doesn't cover the full list of traitors, officially deemed as such and not, investigating the known traitors former/current cohort members and those they sponsored/got sponsored by may give us as idea of who was associated with Saturn and his army.
For example, former preators Julius and Ariadne had ordered a top down search of the whole legion after August Octavian and Cornelia Octavian had gotten exposed as spies working for Saturn, due to the large amount of people they sponsored. The investigation also produced talks about firing their son Octavian Octavian from his position as the augur but ultimately that did not happen.

obligatory intermittent post once again requesting more people make pjo askblogs. pretty pretty please. they're very fun I promise and askblogs are a dying species. i'm very sad that for like the past 6 years there's usually only been one or two riordanverse askblogs active and I'm one of them.
"but i can't-" there's options! text-based askblogs! illustrated/drawn-response askblogs! cosplay askblogs! voice acting askblogs! combinations of the above! whatever else your heart desires! get funky with it! getting funky with it is really cool!
also do your local askblogs a favor and send them some asks sometimes. here's a list of illustrated pjo askblogs I have curated, and a list of other formats of pjo askblogs. I'm also working on another list of general askblogs so if you have any other askblogs you should tell me about those ones too.

Do you know if there were any demigods at Mount Othrys when the Romans attacked? Or were all of them in Manhattan with Kronos?
Well, first of all, thank you for the ask anon! Now about the question;
Upon the dawn of the second day of the siege on Mt. Tam; 245 legionnaires were met with the Titan army.
A.C. Albus, The Siege of Mt. Tam, page 463
Of course we weren't aware of the Greek camp's existence at the time nor were we aware about the Battle of Manhattan. However, this didn't mean the troops of the 12th Legion waltzed in Othyrs unchallenged.
It is estimated* the defending forces consisted of 3/8 of the monsters and a quarter of the demigods, along with the Titan Krios.
*By the time of this paper's publishing
K. Marcus, On Traitors: An Essay
TL,DR; Yep! There were. Although the majority of Saturn's forces were located in Manhattan for their invasion.

Arnold's Diary Entry 01
Today, I went to visit Ella the Harpy's bookshop to confirm the prophecy of the quest for Lady Diana. The fact that while the legion was busy searching into the increased monster population and sending teams at the skirts of Mt Othrys the Greek demigods were there, right next to us, saving Lady Diana from Atlas and the Titan army. Makes me wonder how many opportunities for the two camps to meet.
On the way back I came across Pranjal, who was going to post a few packages to some friends. Upon sight, he told me he didn't know why the confiscated files on the Titan army medics were destroyed. Rude. I didn't even ask him this time. Though; maybe I should buy him coffee later to apologise for pestering him repeatedly.
