the other response i get when i tell them im working at the news station is “OHH so youre gonna be on camera???” like. #1 its my first job in this field im not becoming a news anchor within a month of getting my associates degree and #2 when have you turned on the news n saw a fat girl with bad teeth n dyed hair telling you about local festivals and car crashes.

having a credit card be my emergency fund isnt funny anymore. well i dont blame myself entirely bc i was only able to work 3 days a week the last 2 years but my degree should pay itself off in about a year + i need to get a car n insurance so if i actually take this shit seriously n live like a monk in this damn trailer park hopefully i can make enough to be comfortable moving out. and with the way things are going that number is about $15-20k. bc im never living in a hotel w no place to go again
