one direction will always be so so so bittersweet to me like they were such a foundation of my teenage years while at the same time those boys were spending most of their days trapped in hotel rooms or waking up at 2 am to record an album and non stop touring and working so much more than anyone let alone a bunch of teenage boys should work and its always been hard to reconcile those two realities especially on a day like today because god when they were good together, they were so good together.

and i just don't think anything like them will ever happen again. 5 boys from basically working class backgrounds thrust into a level of fame the height of which hadn't been seen for decades, all of them becoming the breadwinners of their families before the age of 18. the immense pressure but also the amount of fun they were. the tragedy and joy of it all intertwined. really impossible to put into words

i have no idea how to process this. it’s not unfathomable and it’s something i’ve thought about many times but i don’t actually know how to process it. what do you mean he was such an integral part of me growing up and he did some fucked up things in part bc of the fucked up environment he grew up in and now he’s DEAD and can’t do anything to try and make amends. what do u mean the boys now means harry louis liam niall zayn. what do you mean he left behind a child less than 10 years old. what the fuck do you mean

probably rly obvious by now but im not coming back 2 newharry. probably. nothing major really, i still love one direction, tomlinshaw is still real i mostly am just too busy to keep this blog and what i did with it up. theres also the thing where i dont wanna think abt 1d too much (i still havent got over zayn leaving lmao), dont feel like doing much on photoshop and have become too into a couple kpop bands to come back here. i made a new blog where i dont talk much so far, probably wont do anything on photoshop on it and mostly reblog bigbang. u dont have to but feel free to follow me there @rudepopstar i started following some of the ppl i followed here there but not all yet cause tumblr is awful and sucks but yea. of course ill keep the blog up, keep reblogging my tshaw edits 🙂 thanks for everything while i was active here you all made me really happy sorry i couldnt do more

alright but harry and louis meeting with nick the night before x factor final at nick’s place; harry trying to make some fancy coctails with random receipts he’s got at that la place louis likes, nick browsing spotify trying (and failing) to guess louis’ current favourite song (it’s be still by the fray but harry shouldn’t tell nick, NO HAROLD THAT WOULD BE UNFAIR), louis drinking beer because IT’S TAKING YOU TOO LONG BABE JUST GIVE UP AND LET’S DRINK VODKA; harry and nick searching for “what’s your hogwarts house” tests because harry wants to prove he actually gets different results every time; nick and louis smoking on the balcony while harry is on the couch with nick’s dog; can’t wait for you to get a new stylist, nick says to louis, honestly, love, it’s time. are you saying i don’t look good enough, nicholas, louis asks trying his best to glare but honestly failing. no, nick shrugs, but you seem to have abandoned topman and i happen to know they have that one excellent clothing line, i actually have some jumpers here at home; louis drunk and happy and yelling NO GRIMSHAW I WON’T EVER WEAR YOUR CLOTHES; harry and louis being obnoxiously sweet and disgusting with each other because they know nick secretly loves being around them when they are like that and because they are drunk and because they can’t ever help it anyway; nick and louis smoking again, louis in nick’s jumper
