2020.03.16 CDTV Graduation SP

There was a bit showing their discussion about which songs to perform and how. They decided on Sakura Girl as it was the most requested one and made a piano arrangement and a cheery tree made of fan letters. Beautiful idea, but the execution had… some flaws. They also picked エス? esu? S? as the second song because it was the strongest new song and, as Tegoshi noted, they might not get to perform it on TV or even onstage any time soon.

After expelling the imposer, Tegoshi gave a motivational speech saying that it was up to them as entertainers to bring people light and hope in these trying times. It’s sweet but I’d prefer you to do it by staying home. Do some dumb vlogs or something.

Ok, now this was a performance of a band whose tour just got cancelled. Iconic. Koyama-san’s legs filling half the screen, Masuda-san being gangasta af, Tegoshi pretending to be Hyde again. And then there’s Shige who didn’t have so few lines since 9-nin times but boy, he made it count. Also, still wondering if the song is about consent. But it’s pretty good, mostly the bridge. Hope we haven’t seen the last of it.
