OKAY, POST TIME !!

This is my (aka @grimzeyblogs aka @invdr-tak ) blog to post about a story I made about my kins called Next of Kin, a name that took FAR too long to come up with. And yes, it is horrifically embarrassing.

It's a major work in progress, but the baseline thing is it came about after I realized a lot of characters in a fanfic I was writing (the original thing this blog was for) were kins of mine post ✨️Awakening✨️ to my identity. I then wondered what it would have been like if they all knew each other before becoming me. AND THEN THE TRAUMA HAPPENED (or rather, I found out it happened, traumatizing me in turn*) and I was like oh hey I could cope with this and I DID (and now for a lot of them I'm very separated, a win and a loss)

I'll explain the whole story throughout posts as I make it more coherent, as in true writer's fashion, I focus on big things, then work on the biggest thing later. This blog is mostly going to be focused on the art I make for it (hence the story title + art) as I want this blog to be an archive of sorts, to see how the story evolves over time as I change little things, as new kins will be incorporated into the story, as I work out the proper details, etc.

Trigger warnings are very major, not to be ignored, though most of the art will not contain anything too graphic or in depth and everything will be tagged accordingly. The only thing that will be not be shown in any amount at all and will only be referenced when important is s/a and general trauma in regards to that, it's important to multiple characters backstories and how they behave (sometimes in direct opposition to how they act in canon, or used to act)

Characters will be referred to by their names, but not in a screen reader friendly way, I don't want the respective fandoms to see this.

This is not a blog for kinposting, that's for my actual kin blog (the aforementioned invdr-tak). Though if you are especially interested in the kins and info on them (preferably. Story related) you can send as many asks as you please

Basic dni stuff you see on 70% of the blogs on here, no radqueers no radfems/terfs no proshippers or neutrals of any of those things.

Here's some little stuff I made for the first installment, because yes this thing will be a two parter (preferably in video game format), and a very basic relationship chart featuring a character that won't even speak in it.
