April 24th, 2022 NFL Roster Review #11: Philadelphia Eagles
Welcome to my eleventh Roster Review where I will be going through every team in the NFL and taking a look at their teams roster and giving my opinion and grade. If you want more information on my critiques and why I'm doing them please refer to my first post.
For my eleventh Roster Review I will be examining the Philadelphia Eagles out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I have interest in this team partially due to their new Quarterback Jalen Hurts who is an ok quarterback, but am interested to see if they will stick with him long term.
The good of the team is the team’s Offensive Line. The Eagles have Jason Kelce as their starting center who is a top 10 Center in the league. They also have Lane Johnson as their Right Tackle who is an above average edge protector. At Left Tackle and Left Guard they have Jordan Mailata and Landon Dickerson respectively who are both young guys who are solid and will develop into at least average players.
The bad part of the Eagles roster is the Wide Receiver group. In the past few years of the draft the Eagles have blown opportunities to draft great wide receivers only to pick the wrong guy with JJ Arcega-Whiteside in the 2019 draft and Jalen Reagor in 2020. They seem to have finally drafted the right guy in Devonta Smith in 2021, but that is their only good Wide Reciever on the roster. They need to fix this position by signing someone like Jarvis Landry out of free agency and/or drafting someone like Garrett Wilson out of Ohio State University.
The ugly part of the team is the Linebacker Position. There is no sugarcoating their linebacker situation, it is abysmal, their starters are borderline practice squad members on most teams. They desperately need to fix this by signing Joe Schobert or Anthony Hitches out of free agency and drafting someone like Nakobe Dean in the draft out of the University of Georgia.
Overall I would give the Eagles roster a B due to them overall having a very solid roster outside of the linebacker and wide receiver positions. This team next year will rely on the help they get at those two positions and the development of Jalen Hurts, if he plays bad, the team will be bad, but if he takes the next step, they could contend with the Dallas Cowboys for reign of the NFC East.
Hope you enjoyed this review and if you disagree with something, please let me know in the comments and we can discuss. See you soon with another review.

April 18th, 2022 NFL Roster Review #10: Pittsburgh Steelers
Welcome to my tenth Roster Review where I will be going through every team in the NFL and taking a look at their teams roster and giving my opinion and grade. If you want more information on my critiques and why I'm doing them please refer to my first post.
For my tenth Roster Review I will be examining the Pittsburgh Steelers based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I chose to look this team due to their question mark at quarterback.
The good of the Steelers roster is the defensive line. They have perennial pro-bowlers in Cam Heyward and Stephon Tuitt. They also have the reigning Defensive Player of the Year in TJ Watt.
The bad part of the Steelers has to be their situation at Quarterback. Their recently retired HOF Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has left a hole that they tried to fix by signing Mitch Trubisky in Free Agency. Mitch Trubisky should not be their permanent fix at the position as he does not have the talent needed. They should pick a quarterback in the draft to develop behind Trubisky such as Malik Willis or Kenny Pickett out of Liberty University and Pitt respectively.
The ugly part of the Steelers is their offensive line. They have a couple guys who are okay, but no-one that is a game changer. They addressed this by signing James Daniels in free agency, but I don’t know how much this will swing the offensive line in the direction it needs to go. They should address by trading a draft pick for a solid lineman from another team like Cam Robinson or Andrew Norwell. They could also use that pick and draft someone like Charles Cross if he drops to them.
Overall I would give the Steelers roster a B- due to their top 10 defense, however their lack of a better than mediocre quarterback and below average offensive line really brings down this grade.
Hope you enjoyed this review and if you disagree with something, please let me know in the comments and we can discuss. See you soon with another review.

April 16th, 2022 NFL Roster Review #9: Los Angeles Rams
Welcome to my ninth Roster Review where I will be going through every team in the NFL and taking a look at their teams roster and giving my opinion and grade. If you want more information on my critiques and why I'm doing them please refer to my first post.
For my ninth Roster Review I will be examining the Los Angeles Rams based out of Los Angeles, California. I chose this team to look at because of their Super Bowl win this past season and interest to see what their future will look like.
The good of the roster is the offense, headlined by Quarterback Matt Stafford who they traded for last offseason from the Detroit Lions. They also have a solid runningback in Cam Akers who was hurt for most of last year, but came back and played well in the postseason. The Rams have a solid receiving core with their star receiver in Cooper Kupp who won Offensive Player of the Year and lead the league in Receiving yards, catches, and touchdowns. They also have an above average offensive line.
The bad of the LA Rams is the Defensive Line. They have Aaron Donald who has won three Defensive player of the year awards, however besides him they do not have much to help him. Besides Aaron Donald the most amount of sacks a player on the defensive line had last season was 4.5 by Greg Gaines which is not much. In free agency they lost Von Miller to the Bills who was a key contributor. They could address this position by signing Jerry Hughes who previously played for the Buffalo Bills or Jason Pierre-Paul who previously played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The ugly of the Rams roster is the cornerback position. Besides their lockdown number one corner in Jalen Ramsey they don’t have much else, with them losing Darious Williams to the Jaguars in free agency. Robert Rochell and David Long Jr. are the only cornerbacks on the roster with an interception last year, and let’s just say that neither of them are exactly great. They could address this by signing Joe Haden in free agency who last played for the Pittsburgh Steelers. They could also trade for a veteran like Patrick Peterson who plays on the Vikings, as the rams don’t have a pick earlier than the third round.
Overall I would grade the Rams roster an A+ as they have an excellent team and the holes on their roster are not very bad. Their Offensive is very electric and their defense is top ten.
Hope you enjoyed this review and if you disagree with something, please let me know in the comments and we can discuss. See you soon with another review.

April 12th, 2022 NFL Roster Review #8: New York Jets
Welcome to my eighth Roster Review where I will be going through every team in the NFL and taking a look at their teams roster and giving my opinion and grade. If you want more information on my critiques and why I'm doing them please refer to my first post.
For my eighth Roster Review I will be examining the New York Jets based out of East Rutherford, New Jersey and share their stadium with the Giants who I looked at last week. I chose this team to look at because of their young Quarterback and being one of the worst teams across the past decade.
The good part of the NY Jets is their Defensive Line where they have a young star in Defensive Tackle Quinnen Williams, they also have another young, solid player in John Franklin-Myers. This next season they will have Carl Lawson who is a good edge player but was unfortunately hurt all last season.
The bad part of the team is the wide receiver position. They have a young solid slot receiver in Braxton Berrios who they just resigned. Their other two main receivers are Corey Davis and Elijah Moore who have largely underachieved gaining only 1030 yards and 9 touchdowns combined. I think they should address this by drafting a receiver in this deep draft class full of many good options such as a true red zone threat in Drake London out of the University of Southern California or Jameson Williams out of the University of Alabama. They could also try to pick up a solid playmaker in free agency such as Emmanuel Sanders.
The ugly of the Jets roster is their cornerback room that is a hodgepodge of young corners that need to develop and older guys who are band-aids. Bryce Hall is the only outlier actually being a solid playmaker who is at a good age of 24. They should address this by drafting one of the many good corners in the draft such as Ahmaud “Sauce” Gardner out of the University of Cincinnati or Trent McDuffie out of the University of Washington.
I would rate the Jets roster a D+ because the roster is still pretty bad however they have some young guys with up side and it will mostly depend on Zach Wilson’s (their QB they drafted in last year’s draft) development. I have hope in this team because of the their Head Coach Robert Saleh.
Hope you enjoyed this review and if you disagree with something, please let me know in the comments and we can discuss. See you soon with another review.

April 8th, 2022 NFL Roster Review #7: New York Giants
Welcome to my seventh Roster Review where I will be going through every team in the NFL and taking a look at their teams roster and giving my opinion and grade. If you want more information on my critiques and why I'm doing them please refer to my first post.
For my seventh Roster Review I will be examining the New York Giants based out of East Rutherford, New Jersey. I chose this team to look at because of their question mark at Quarterback and being arguably the worst team across the past five seasons.
The good part of the Giants roster is the Defensive Line where they have good pieces in Leonard Williams and Dexter Lawrence who are both decently good and young.
The bad part of New York’s roster is the Wide Receiver position. They only have one guy who is a bright spot in Kadarius Toney who had a solid rookie season last year, however he still only had 420 yards and no touchdowns through 10 games. They also have Kenny Golladay who is an older guy who was the leading receiver with only 521 yards and no touchdowns. Besides those two guys, they have a group of guys who are borderline practice squad players. They could try to put a bandage on the position by signing someone like Jarvis Landry or Will Fuller V. A better idea in my mind would be to draft someone like Drake London out of Southern California who can go up and get the ball or Garrett Wilson who can do almost anything at the position.
The ugly part of the Giants Roster is Daniel Jones who is a below-average quarterback at best. He has sneaky speed which was shown off in 2020 with a spectacular run, however he is so fragile and clumsy also illustrated in that same run where he fell and did not get into the endzone. He is also not a very good passer with poor arm strength and is just overall a bad Quarterback. They could try to patch up the position by picking up Joshua Dobbs out of free agency, however I think the better move would be trying to draft a falling Quarterback in the draft such as Matt Corral out of Ole Miss.
Overall I would give the New York Giants roster a D due to their very poor offense and average defense at best. I am very interested to see what the giants will do at the quarterback position.
Hope you enjoyed this review and if you disagree with something, please let me know in the comments and we can discuss. See you soon with another review.

April 7th, 2022 NFL Roster Review #6: New England Patriots
Welcome to my sixth Roster Review where I will be going through every team in the NFL and taking a look at their teams roster and giving my opinion and grade. If you want more information on my critiques and why I'm doing them please refer to my first post.
For my sixth Roster Review I will be examining the New England Patriots based out of Foxborough, Massachusetts. I chose this team to look at because of their young Quarterback Mac Jones who is trying to fill the spot of their former Quarterback Tom Brady.
The good of the Patriots is their runningback position. They have Damien Harris who is a bell-cow runningback who is a bruiser between the tackler. They also have James White who is a great receiving back.
The bad part of the Patriots is their Wide Receiver Core. They have Jakobi Myers who is a mediocre slot receiver. They also traded for Davante Parker who could end up being a good redzone threat. They should draft Jameson Williams out of the University of Alabama as he could be the deep-threat the Patriots needed.
The ugly part of the Patriots is the cornerback position. They have Jalen Mills who is a solid corner, but not great. They also have Shaun Wade who could be good, but is still young and developing. Malcolm Butler also recently resigned who is older but could still be somewhat productive. I believe they should draft someone like Andrew Booth Jr out of Clemson or Kaiir Elam out of Florida to develop into a top cornerback for them.
Overall I would give the New England Patriots roster a B due to their Top 10 defense and mediocre offense. I am very interested to see how Mac Jones will develop.
Hope you enjoyed this review and if you disagree with something, please let me know in the comments and we can discuss. See you soon with another review.

April 3rd, 2022 NFL Roster Review #5: Baltimore Ravens
Welcome to my fifth Roster Review where I will be going through every team in the NFL and taking a look at their teams roster and giving my opinion and grade. If you want more information on my critiques and why I'm doing them please refer to my first post.
For my fifth Roster Review I will be examining the Baltimore Ravens based out of Baltimore, Maryland. I chose this team to look at because of how many injuries they suffered last year and because of my interest in how Lamar Jackson will do next season.
The good part of the ravens are the runningbacks on their roster. Last season they had many of their runningbacks go down with injury and they still had guys on their team and practice squad that were able to run the ball very well and manage to keep the team in playoff contention even with all the injuries they experienced.
The bad part of the ravens is the guys on the defensive line. This is in part due to the departure of Calais Campbell in free agency. The only players on the roster that got 5 or more sacks are Odafe Oweh and Tyus Bowser, both players who are linebackers. They could fix this by resigning Calais Campbell or picking up Jerry Hughes formally of the Buffalo Bills. The Ravens could also draft a defensive lineman in the draft such as Jermaine Johnson II out of Florida State University or George Karlaftis out of the University of Purdue.
The ugly part of the ravens are the wide receivers they have on the roster. Baltimore does not have a true number one wide receiver and mainly just a bunch of guys who are solid guys such as Marquise Brown and Rashod Bateman. The team could try to fix this by signing someone like Odell Beckham Jr in free agency. The Ravens could also try to draft someone in the draft like Drake London out of the University of Southern California which would give them someone that could be a good number one receiver.
Overall I would give the Baltimore Ravens roster a B+ due to their pretty good quarterback Lamar Jackson and top tier defense.
Hope you enjoyed this review and if you disagree with something, please let me know in the comments and we can discuss. See you soon with another review.

March 28, 2022 NFL Roster Review #4: Cleveland Browns
Welcome to my fourth Roster Review where I will be going through every team in the NFL and taking a look at their teams roster and giving my opinion and grade. If you want more information on my critiques and why I'm doing them please refer to my first post.
For my fourth Roster Review I will be examining the Cleveland Browns based out of Cleveland, Ohio. I chose this team to look at because of how they traded for Deshaun Watson and see what they will do with their backup Quarterback Baker Mayfield.
The good of the Browns is the Cornerback position with them having Denzel ward, Greedy Williams, and Greg Newsome II, who are all good, young cornerbacks. The oldest of these guys are 24 years old with Denzel Ward and Greedy Williams both being the same age which is very young for the position.
The bad of the team is the linebacker position with them having only one player who is pretty young and is good that being Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah who is going into his second season. They also have Anthony Walker who is a good tackler but not much else, he is also already 26 years old so he is most likely at about the peak of how good he is going to be. Besides those two players they don’t have much else at the position. I think they should fix this in free agency or the draft by trying to sign Bobby Wagner who is a perennial all-pro middle linebacker who was formerly with Seattle. They could also draft a guy like Nakobe Dean out of the University of Georgia or Quay Walker also out of the University of Georgia.
The ugly of the Browns is the Defensive line who has Myles Garrett who is a top 5 Defensive End in the league, however outside of him, there is no-one else on the defensive who is at least decent at stopping the run or getting to the quarterback. To fix this they could sign someone like Calais Campbell who previously on the Baltimore Ravens or draft someone like David Ojabo out of the University of Michigan.
Overall I would give the Cleveland Browns a B grade due to their above average offense with the addition of Quarterback Deshaun Watson to add to Nick Chubb and Amari Cooper with a solid Offensive Line. They also have an average defense. Hope y’all enjoyed this review and let me know if you disagree and we can discuss in the comments. Let me know in the comments if there is a specific team you want me to discuss soon. Have a good one.

March 26, 2022 NFL Roster Review #3: San Francisco 49ers
Welcome to my third Roster Review where I will be going through every team in the NFL and taking a look at their teams roster and giving my opinion and grade. If you want more information on my critiques and why I'm doing them please refer to my first post.
For my third Roster Review I will be examining the San Francisco 49ers out of San Francisco, California. I chose this team to look at because of the situation that they have at the quarterback position.
The good of the team is the defensive line with the anchor being Nick Bosa, and good pieces surrounding him in Arden Key, Maurice Hurst, Arik Armstead, Javon Kinlaw, and Dee Ford. Some of these guys have experienced injury issues, however they are still very good players when they are on the field.
The bad of the team is the wide receiver position with Deebo Samuel being the premier player at that position with him also taking snaps at runningback to make the offense truly dynamic. He is also helped out by Brandon Aiyuk who is going into his 3rd season in the NFL and is a developing player who is overall pretty solid. Besides those two guys, there is not very much good depth behind them with veteran Travis Benjamin being the only guy who is somewhat relevant. They could fix this by picking up a player in free agency like Will Fuller V or Odell Beckham Jr. The 49ers could also draft Jahan Dotson out of Penn State.
The ugly of the 49ers is the cornerback position as they don’t have a solid number one guy to lock down the position. Also their guys they have on their roster are average to below-average at best. They should address this issue by signing a player in free agency and/or picking up a guy in the NFL Draft. They should sign someone like Stephon Gilmore or draft someone like Roger McCreary out of the University of Auburn.
Overall I would give the San Francisco 49ers a B grade because of their above average defense, George Kittle, Deebo Samuel, and their solid runningback room. Hope y’all enjoyed this review and let me know if you disagree and we can discuss in the comments.

March 21, 2022 NFL Roster Review #2: Carolina Panthers
Welcome to my second Roster Review where I will be going through every team in the NFL and taking a look at their teams roster and giving my opinion and grade. If you want more information on my critiques and why I'm doing them please refer to my first post.
For my second Roster Review I will be examining the Carolina Panthers of Charlotte, North Carolina. I chose this team next as I am located near them so I hear a lot about them and I have a decent amount of friends whose favorite team are the Carolina Panthers.
The good of the team are the cornerback and safety positions. The Panthers have good, young players at those positions with Donte Jackson, CJ Henderson, Jaycee Horn, and Jeremy Chinn. The only problem some of these players have experienced is injuries with Jaycee Horn suffering a broken foot early in his rookie season, Donte Jackson suffering a groin injury late in the 2021 NFL season, and CJ Henderson also suffering a groin injury in his rookie season. I think as long as these guys can stay healthy and keep developing this can be a very good backend of the defense.
The bad of the team is the linebacker position. The Panthers do have Shaq Thompson who is a solid role-player as a hybrid linebacker and safety, they also just picked up Cory Littleton who is a good tackler but not a great cover guy. I think to fix this they should sign Bobby Wagner or draft a guy like Devin Lloyd out of the University of Utah.
The ugly of the team is the quarterback position. Before last season, the Panthers traded a second round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft for New York Jets Quarterback Sam Darnold who was a bust. Through the first 3 games of the season Sam Darnold looked great winning all 3 of them and passing for almost 900 yards. However, after his game against the Dallas Cowboys he fell apart losing his next 4 games, throwing only four touchdowns to seven interceptions. Then after a game where the defense played well and the offense scored 4 field goals in a win, Darnold had another 4 game skid where he threw 2 touchdowns to 5 interceptions he was benched for Cam Newton who didn’t do much better. Now the only QB options on the roster are Sam Darnold who proved he cannot be a starter and PJ Walker who is best as a backup. I think the Panthers should sign a solid veteran quarterback like Marcus Mariota as a bridge quarterback to a guy they should pick in the NFL Draft, which could be Kenny Pickett out of University of Pittsburgh or Malik Willis out of Liberty University.
Overall I would give the Carolina Panthers Roster a D grade due to lack of any solid Quarterback on the roster, lack of good Wide Receiver depth, and below average linebacker core.
Later this week, I will be examining the San Francisco 49ers.Hope y'all enjoyed and let me know if you disagree with anything and we can discuss in the comments.

March 20, 2022 NFL Roster Review #1: Buffalo Bills
Welcome to my first Roster Review where I will be going through every team in the NFL and taking a look at their teams roster and giving my opinion and grade. If you want more information on my critiques and why I'm doing them please refer to my previous post.
For my first Roster Review I will be looking at my personal favorite team; The Buffalo Bills of Buffalo, New York. Even though they are my favorite team I will do my best to avoid bias and give a fair review and talk about the good, the bad, and the ugly.
So let’s start with the good, The Bills starting quarterback is Josh Allen who is an excellent quarterback, with elite arm strength and above average mobility for his 6′5″, 237lb frame who proved how good he is by guiding the bills to consecutive deep playoff runs in the 2020 and 2021 seasons.
The bad of the team is the linebacker position. While we have Tremaine Edmunds who is a solid middle linebacker he can be very inconsistent. We also have a okay outside linebacker in Matt Milano. However we do not have another good linebacker outside of those two players. To address this the team should look at signing a player like Bobby Wagner in free agency who is a perennial pro-bowler. We could also target a player in the draft like Nakobe Dean who played at the University of Georgia.
The ugly of the team is the cornerback position. While we have Tre'davious White as our number one cornerback, we have not so good options behind him, as Taron Johnson is the only cornerback who has any significant starting time at cornerback and he is average at best. I think the Bills should sign a free agent or two and draft one or two corner in the NFL draft. A cornerback we could target in free agency could be Stephon Gilmore who was initially drafted by them in the 2012 draft or Bryce Callahan who is another good veteran cornerback. In the draft we could target Trent McDuffie out of the University of Washington or Kaiir Elam out of Clemson.
Overall, I will give the Buffalo Bills an A- grade for the stellar Quarterback and overall elite pieces on both offense and defense, especially with the new free agent addition of Von Miller, an edge rusher who just won the Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams.
Next Week I will be doing another team who I have an interest in in the Carolina Panthers. Hope y'all enjoyed and let me know if you disagree with anything and we can discuss in the comments.
