Whenever I think of artistic license, I think of the first person who translated Wuthering Heights into Portuguese and titled it O Morro Dos Ventos Uivantes, The Hill of the Howling Winds. The talent, the creativity, to make a title that so much resembles the original without containing any of the words in it, and arguably making it more eerie if anything.

And then I think of the person that titled Mansfield Park (1999), for the Brazilian release, as Palácio Das Ilusões, The Palace of Illusions. Imagine just coming up with such a great description of the house and the people that live in it, in which plane of reality do these people live.
