I am Muhammad Imad Abdel Latif Sharab

First, after an aggressive war on Gaza City and its revival, we were displaced from our 3-storey house in which I and my family of 3 members live.

My father's family consists of 8 members

My grandfather, may God have mercy on him, was martyred by occupation aircraft on 12/14/2023.

The one who was martyred while he was leaving the house to check on our house next to him, which could not be reached due to a brutal enemy who does not differentiate between anyone in death, went out to check on our house, which we were not in because of my displacement to Rafah, me, my father, and our families due to the intensity of the fighting in Khan Yunis, and after that A few days ago, our store in which my father and brothers work was bombed by occupation aircraft. He was working to gather his strength from it and meet the needs of our house, which no longer exists due to the bombing. We ask you to help and contribute, even if just a little, by donating to us so that we can compensate for a little of what we lost.

one more question! there's one band that has under a hundred followers, and one extra through some various problems. should that under 100 be saved for a future round with a lower cutoff so it has a better chance? it's a great band, and deserves recognition.

nope! on spotify, you can see an artist's followers. also, if you can't check, i can check for you- it is a bit of a pain. in order to find it, play a song by them, and click the "now playing" view:

then, click here:

when you click on it, on the left side, it should say ___ followers.

alright everyone!! the form will be open at predetermined times (around 10 am est, 1 pm est, 4 pm est, 7 pm est, 10 pm est, more if necessary) to allow for people in different time zones to submit. those are, of course, not exact times, but i'll make a post every time i'm opening it and it'll be open for a while at that point. if necessary, i can make it a bigger tournament. remember the cut off is 10,000 followers, and have a lovely rest of your night. I have a submission! They're called "de rubænd" and make Dutch music. They have 34 listeners on Spotify, wich Is mostly because A) they are kind of known in the Netherlands, in a very niche community, and have one release.

alright everyone. i believe the right time has come. the plan is, this saturday, i'll open it a few different times. the limit this time is 10,000 followers on youtube/spotify. it's also going to be a 32 band bracket. that form will be open for multiple chunks (each a few hours long) to allow people in different time zones to submit. i'll release a schedule for that soon! that way, you can know what the plan is and submit your very favorite very niche bands (or solo artists, of course) :) if you have any questions, shoot me an ask before saturday! in addition, please check how many followers your artist has beforehand, it just simplifies things. (although if they're within 500 people of the limit i'll allow it). also, if you think i've forgotten this again or something, bother me about it! if there's something going on, i'll just ignore you, but please remind me, i have a horrible memory but i love running this.

Things said about Copper King: we met on tumblr in 2013 and the first time i heard them sing i knew it was only a matter of time before their music joined the ranks of widely beloved indie classics. it’s been almost a decade since then and that time has yet to come but the amount of growth in their craft has done nothing to deter my certainty that they have whatever “it” factor there is out there found only in stars. their lyricism, their voice, the instrumental parts of each song—i’m not the smartest about music but it’s like everything they do is crafted with magic. their song cavity has been my #1 spotify song every year since it came out and the only thing that’ll ever dethrone it is a song that’s currently only availible on patreon. their voice is like a spell that dissolves anxiety and stress. i saw a video of them performing at a college party once, in a crowded room, conversation ongoing between most of the people there; as soon as they started singing, it’s like the room had been enchanted, nobody able to do anything but pay attention to their performance. also, that’s my best friend in the entire world and i love them so much. A little more info on round two:

solo artists are absolutely still included, and generally the same rues apply. However, I am going to try and make this one more niche. (i'm thinking 10,000 subscribers/listeners in contrast to the previous 100,000?). it would allow for more new bands, and I hope it would be fun. (i'll also try not to forget about it again, sorry)
