//no, I haven’t quit this blog, and I haven’t been trying to ignore you guys. It’s just in the last few weeks I have been having a hell of a time! Between working 6-7 days a week, losing my old car, having to buy a new one (that I’ll be paying off for the next SIX years), getting ready to move, and being sick, I haven’t had all that much time to come on here. This coming week is really busy for me too, so I likely won’t be on, but I haven’t forgotten about you guys!

“Well, if you don’t mind washing puppies or cleaning out cages, you can always come to work with me! My boss sure wouldn’t mind you there,” Nicholas offered. 

The theater then started to darken, and the real ads started up on the big screen. “You can definitely see the glow of your eyes better now!” Nicholas said with a bit of a laugh. “That’s really cool.”

"Ummm Hello I don't think I have had the pleasure to meet you, Im Atticus" he said extending his hand.

Taking his hand and giving it a firm shake, he replied happily.

"I’m Nicholas! It’s always nice to meet new people."

“Aww, that’s not right. You are a great person. I can’t believe no one else wants to hang with you!” Nicholas said sincerely. He was having a good time so far with Atticus, so even though Nich didn’t know his new friend long, it seemed weird that Atti wouldn’t have much for friends.

“Well, I’m always around the town doing something, so if you ever want to hang out later, feel free to hit me up!” he smiled at Atti.

Calming down a bit, Nicholas tried to be a bit more... understanding. “I mean, i-if you don’t really do those sort of things anymore, that’s a good thing...” 

Running a hand through his hair, he decided to just move the conversation elsewhere. Nicholas doesn’t really like confrontation, so best to avoid it.

“So, um how high can you fly? I can’t really go more than a foot right now, but I’m working on my powers!”

Turning to look towards the screen, Nicholas leaned back into the seat. All that was playing was radio music over some ads on the screen, so they had a little bit of a wait before the actual movie started.

“So, what do you usually do anyways? I mean, I have work everyday, so that keeps me busy. Do you have something like a job?” he asked.
