Possessing the past experience of programming for YouTube, developing new formats, and creating engaging content, I have joined the Kids & Family branch, a part of Netflix’s Animation Series Marketing. Our small team, the Creative Asset Development Team, are capable of a wide range of deliverables, from Social Media clips, editorial videos and more. With a focus on the newly rebranded YouTube channel, After School, our team is focused on an Always On strategy, a brilliant marketing approach to spend an extra effort on promoting any of our key titles in timeless videos, breaking free from the usual pre & post-launch marketing windows. There will be brand new pilots, v-tuber hosts, and a variety of new noise, in the infinite potential to synchronize our approach between platform and on YouTube.

Geeked [TOON IN] A brand new endeavor for Netflix, the best animation showcase on the internet. Hosted by the amazing @kierapleaze, this weekly live show talks about all of the amazing animation Netflix has to offer, with sneak peeks, special guests and more! With less than a week until the premiere, I was tasked to build promotional materials, including :15 and :30 second trailers. As we continue to push the boundaries of how we digest content, I will continue cutting marketing materials around this groundbrekaing Netflix show. (2022)

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Official Music Video
After the billboard conversion video for social media, I binged the series and instantly fell in love, like so many fans of the show. Shortly after that, the opportunity to edit the official music video for the viral hit, “I Really Want to Stay at Your House” came to fruition. With a turn-around time of one week, I edited this video in a day, with approvals to follow in less than 48 hours. One of the quickest deliveries for an official promotional piece. Uploaded on Netflix Main as well as CD Projekt Red and the official Edgerunners Twitter, and Netflix Geeked on Facebook. Collectively amassed over a million views in its first 24 hours. Over 5 million in its first week.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Tangential to the work our team does, the Geeked team needed assistance in bringing their billboard ad to life for Social Media. Glitching between reality and the teaser, I added special effects and sound design, including NYC atmosphere, glitchy tech sounds and incorporated aspects of the score. Kung Fu Panda Timeline A brand new iteration of the popular format that myself and our team have famously made countless versions of on YT, we have officially chronicled the events of the Kung Fu Panda series for Netflix After School. With direct feedback from the DreamWorks team, as well as utilizing their provided assets. This video prompted brand new motion graphics for the Timeline format, extending the After School branding.

Geeked Week Animation Showcase In Netflix’s annual Geeked Week programming, there was a full day dedicated to the wonderful animation the platform has to offer. Our team led the day’s hour block with sneak peeks of upcoming shows, a look at some current favorites, and debuting our V-Tuber host, NOAH. On top of packaging clips, and adapting 3D model footage of our host, I also created a unique 3D room using GW assets, matching other graphics used throughout Geeked Week’s livestreams. (2022)

DC13 “Gulf Racing ” Hyper Viper by Mutant Vinyl Hardcore A powerhouse in the toy community, Mutant Vinyl Hardcore is a popular sofubi maker and artist. Returning to create another video showcase with the footage and graphics provided by Rich, I had full creative freedom to help exhibit the latest work of art by MVH. In addition to cutting to the music, footage needed a de-flickering treatment to address the fps not being aligned with light frequency in the raw footage. (2022)

Battle Kitty Facts YOU Should Know! Keeping the support for Netflix’s latest Interactive series, we had the opportunity to speak with the creator of Battle Kitty and compile a bunch of interesting facts from all aspects of production. Same level of care was used when selecting clips to support the script, like our other Battle Kitty video. As of today, all of our BK videos produced by the Always On team has over 100k views. (2022)

The ULTIMATE Battle Kitty Dance Compilation Compilations are not new on YouTube, but when approaching the Netflix After School channel, we wanted to be strategic when we post clips and how we package clips. Battle Kitty is rich with humor, and one of the greatest highlights of the series is the dancing. It was honestly a no-brainer to stitch as many musical numbers together, and to our surprise, our first video to hit a million views in its first 3 weeks, and shortly after, 2 million views, generating a lot of follow-on views, subscriber growth and increasing audience retention across the channel. This is one of three Battle Kitty compilations available on the channel. (2022)
