OSEMANVERSE PRIDE EVENT

hi everyone! as you all probably know, it's almost pride month. of course, we'll be celebrating that!

every week, we'll highlight a different group of queer osemanverse characters. you can find the schedule on the calendar above.

all kinds of original creations - art, fics, edits, webweaves, headcanons, you name it! - are welcome, there are no limitations. your submissions can be based on any characters from the osemanverse universe. while we don't forbid headcanons, we'd really like you to focus on characters whose sexualities are confirmed or semi-confirmed (e.g. aled being non-binary), even if they might be a little less popular. they deserve the spotlight!

the tag for the event is #osemanversepride2025 (NO spaces), but you can also submit your entry to us directly.

SCHEDULE: week 1 (june 1 - june 7): gay & lesbian characters week 2 (june 8 - june 14): bi & pan characters week 3 (june 15 - june 21): aspec characters week 4 (june 22 - june 28): genderqueer characters (during the last two days you can post general osemanverse lgbtqia+ themed entried, and we'll reblog them too, as long as they're tagged)

please note, that this event isn’t meant to represent every sexuality or identity. we know that some are missing, but that’s simply because there are no confirmed characters in the osemanverse who fit that label. the flags on the calendar are just examples and aren’t meant to represent everything that fits under the label.

read the rules in our pinned post, as we won't share any submissions that break our regulations, but also note a couple other things: 1. we’d love to see the pride theme expressed, but that's not mandatory 2. other characters can be present, even if their sexuality/identity doesn't match the theme of the week, but it should be centred around a character who does match.

Honestly bizarre that tomatoes get all the flack for “not being a vegetable” because they're technically a fruit when:

A) There are a ton of fruits that get categorised as vegetables. Like this also applies to pumpkins, squashes and cucumbers.

B) The fucking mushrooms are standing there at the back of the crowd in this witch trial, trying to look inconspicuous because they somehow got into the vegetable club with no fucking controversy despite the fact that they're not even plants.
