HYDROGEN is a highly combustible diatomic gas that reacts with every oxidizing element and is incredibly abundant in the sun. It plays a crucial role in acid-base reactions by serving as the “middleman” carrying protons between an acid and a base. When combined with certain other elements (such as chlorine and fluorine), it reacts spontaneously and violently to form very dangerous acids.
NITROGEN  is a diatomic nonmetal that exists in all organisms and is a versatile part of many organic compounds. As N2, it remains resilient against reactions with most acids, bases, oxidants, and reductants. In its purest elemental form, though, nitrogen is highly volatile, but it forms some of the strongest chemical bonds. It dominates compounds and reactions, making it very difficult for both organisms and industrial science to convert it into useful compounds, but these compounds later release large amounts of useful energy when they burn, explode, or decay back into nitrogen gas.
CARBON is considered the foundation of life as it is present and often abundant in all life forms and organisms. This polyatomic nonmetal, while found almost everywhere, remains nonreactive under most normal conditions. At standard temperature and pressure, it resists nearly all oxidizers. It is a crucial ingredient in the making of steel. Carbon’s various allotrope forms include natural diamonds.
These are the three elements that make up C10H15N, or the chemical known as METHAMPHETAMINE.
