Nico ignored her attitude completly and just nodded with a small smile. "I'm sorry, I was just worried.", he said while lowering himself to make sure the flowers were ok. He couldn't care less for people who didn't respect others, or simply people he didn't know so her sarcasm didn't affect him one bit. With a polite smile, he got up and approached the girl. "Want one?"
QUIRKING AN EYEBROW CHARLIE, looked up from her book once she heard a voice which seemed to be directed at her and sure enough as she spotted a boy in front of her. “A simple watch out for the roses would have sufficed mate, no need to sound so disdainful.” Charlie replied, hazel eyes glancing down towards the flowers that were now in front of her. “But now that you brought up your concern, I do believe my rose radar is broken… shame. I should work on getting on that fixed.” The tiny brunette replied sarcastically, clearly unamused by the other boy’s attitude.

It's not like he didn't believe her; she seemed like a good person but Nico couldn't help but go check on the flowers to make sure they were alright. After confirming, he turned his attention back to the girl, smiling. "I can give you a flower if you want. There's a lot of different ones that don't need as much care.", he proposed. His love for gardening made it impossible for him to let a poor soul 'be bad a taking care of them'.
Lacey looked up as she heard the other’s voice a few feet away. The brunette looked back down at her feet and nodded several times, cracking a smile. “I was just looking at them, don’t worry.” She told him softly and crouched so she could get closer to them. “I wish I could grow plants, we have a garden at home but I was always really bad at taking care of them. My mom does it a bit but mostly other people do it for us, and then we get fresh peaches in the summer because we have a bunch of trees outside.”

"Interesting?", he repeated. He didn't understand quite well why the fact that he came from another country would be interesting; a lot of students at Redwood came from a lot of different places after all. "I'm in the volley ball team though.", he spoke up. "But I guess that's true."
“Hm. International student. Even more interesting.” she nodded. “Well sports aren’t for everyone, just those people with a competitive edge that I really don’t think exists in.. gardening.” the girl shrugged.

"Don't worry about it..as long as they're ok.", he said in a little voice. The girl didn't seem like she had done it on purpose so Nico let it go. From her words, he also noticed that she must have been here before; she knew the pots were empty before. At her question, he showed a bright smile before answering. "White roses."
“Huh?” Josephine said, looking down at where she was about to step if she backed up a step more. She’d been so caught up in sending a photo to her father of the progress her basil was doing that she hadn’t even thought about where she walked as she stepped back to get the best shot. Biting her lip a bit, she smiled apologetically as she said, “Sorry, that plots been empty for so long that I didn’t even think to look.” Tucking her hair behind her ear, she cooked her head at the flowers as she asked, “What are they?”

Nico had been sitting quietly not far from them when the boy tackled the other. It was quite a sight to see; the smaller one was completetly destroying the bigger one. Honestly, normally, he would've just ignored it but the blood was just a bit too much for his liking. Did that guy want the other dead? Interrupting meant attracting attention to himself; which he hated but, did he have another choice? He stood up quietly and, lightly tapped the attacker's shoulder. "I think this is enough.", he then said quietly.
“Is that all you got?” Kovu yelled, automatically running and tackling some guy to the ground. He was much bigger than Kovu but the thing about the seventeen year old was that it didn’t matter what size you were or who your family was, if he was pissed off at you, he’d go through you and absolutely destroy you. He knew what he was doing. Not to mention Kovu just had the worst temper in the world. The crowd was gathering around the two brawling on the corridors but it didn’t make Ko stop. He didn’t even stop when he saw blood come from the other boy’s face, he just continued to swing and punch at their face.

He simply nodded, keeping quiet. He didn't really understand her point of view, if she wanted him to notice the real her, why did she have to change? If wearing fluffly dresses were her thing, why couldn't she just stay like that? Girls were kind of a mystery for Nico exactly because of the fact that he just can't seem to understand them. "A bodysuit would look nice."
Annie kept her gaze down on her cup of coffee, slowly looking up at the male while a small smile lingered in the corner of her lips. “I know… I just want him to notice me. Like, the real me, not the five-year-old me he met when visiting with his parents.” she pouted a little, twirling the cup between her fingers. “I was thinking of going for a sexy bodysuit or dress, I usually wear like fluffy dresses and such, so I figured I’d change it up a little.”

He couldn't help but look at her, slightly surprised at her words. He really had no idea she was someone important; he felt kind of bad. "No I never did.. I'm from Thailand so that's probably why.", he tried to explain. "That and I don't really follow sports.", he then admitted.
“Professional gymnast. I never had to do the school thing, tutors did it for me. You’ve never heard of me?” Alaska asked with a clocked brow, now curious how she’d somehow slipped under his radar. “Hm. Good to know since I’m new and all. It’s always good to know where to find people.”

"Someone like you..?", he repeated curiously. Nico had to remind himself that not everyone loved plants as much as he did and that he was simply a special case. Anyone else would have bigger priorities. "I've always been here ever since I transfered last year.", he answered. He was quiet so he was used to people not knowing about him; most people knew him as the flower boy or that small guy on the volley ball team. He didn't stand out; but he liked it better that way.
“I don’t have time to take care of plants or really anything. This whole being a student thing has been surprisingly time consuming for someone like me.” Alaska spoke bluntly, still glancing around at the garden. “So do you always hang out here or have you just recently claimed this as your territory?”

Nico smiled slightly as soon as he noticed the girl's smile. He was glad he hadn't messed up. He was only honest though, the curly hair made her stand out. It fits her well. "You shouldn't change yourself for anyone.", he commented while looking at her. "But I understand wanting to do something different..You could always just change your makeup or outfit, that works too no..?"
Annie rose an eyebrow slightly as the boy sitting across from her spoke, a smile soon spreading across her face. “That’s very kind of you to say, I don’t really have anything against it - most of the time, but I just wanted something different for my birthday. I have this boy to impress, and I can’t do that looking like a seventeen-year-old girl. I have to look like a woman,”

He frowned slightly at her words, why would she kill them? Well, of course, not everyone was as skilled as him with taking care of plants but putting it water didn't seem like such hard work. Either way, he didn't comment on it, he simply nodded. "I guess so. Since it's spring I just thought you could have put it near your window..it makes great decoration." Ideas wasn't something Nico lacked; when it concerned gardening anyways. He told himself that if the girl ever changed her mind, he would find her a flower which doesn't need a lot of attention.
“Yeah, it’s whatever.” she shifted the bag on her shoulder. A sympathetic smile appeared as she shook her head. “Pass, what’s the point in killing flowers for no reason? Leave your little plant friends alive.” In truth she only accepted flowers when she felt she’d earned them, like doing well in a meet. But she wasn’t about to share that kind of information when she was less interested in this conversation than joining the Christian Club.

"Yes", he replied. "This morning." His words piqued Nico's interest; it meant he noticed the difference. It also meant he saw the garden a lot. That idea made him quite happy since someone else appreciated his work. "I felt like them fitted spring well.", he commented, a slight smile dancing on his lips. At his question, Nico simply nodded. "I would appreciate that.", he responded with a bright smile.
Alfie usually trod all over the garden - it was softer ground that was way easier to walk on top of compared to the sometimes inbearable hard ground surrounding it. He jumped at the voice, startled that someone actually cared about the place and turned to face the other with a smile. “Oh, you did?” He asked, looking at the roses before back at Nico, “I wondered where they came from.” He looked the other up and down a few times before shrugging. “I guess I could - what if I walk around them? Does that count as being careful?”

Nico didn't really know what to say. Well, what right thing to say. He didn't have much problems with his own hair so it's not like he could give her advices. "I think it looks good like that though.", he whispered, not sure if the girl would like his answer.
“I’ve been trying to straighten my hair for the past five hours, all in attempts to look decent at my birthday party, and I still look like a curly shrimp. Despite what you see on TV, without a professional styling team, I can’t get my hair to look like Kim Kardashian’s no matter how hard I try, and then people tell me they wished they had curly hair.”

He had expected some rude comeback so Nico was pleasantly surprised at the girl's words. His little worried frown turned rapidly into a small smile as he took his eyes off the flowers and looked at her. "Thank you very much." He feared his simple words wouldn't pass off the message so, in the spur of the moment, he made an offer. "When the other flowers grow, I can give one of them to you if you want."
Alaska had made a habit of walking through the garden to the gym, mostly for a bit of solitude because students never usually hung around there. So when she heard a voice, she jumped and her large gym bag dropped to ground. “Ugh,” the brunette ignore the boy’s comment as she brushed the dirt from her bag. “Yeah, okay I’ll make sure to walk on the path next time.”

“Please watch out" Nico said softly as he walked up to the other hurriedly."I just planted thoses.'', he said as he pointed at a couple of roses. He had went to his favorite florist to get them and wasn't going to stand another student destroying his work. Most of the students didn't really care about the school's garden so it wasn't a surprise for another person to almost walk over the plants. Even so, Nico couldn't hide his slight disdain. "Please be careful from now on.", he spoke again in a small voice, eying the flowers.
