Just a ramble I want to make about the Ackerman clan. Their origins and if they aren’t “fully human”.

An interesting way some fans described the Ackermans, is that they are “titans in human flesh.” In other words the “Power of the Titans” runs through their body without actually being titans themselves.

Curiously they are resistant to attempts to turn them into titans. Maybe because in a sense, they already are titans. Which has a lot of strange implications. The Ackermans see themselves as fully human; but what if they knew about these origins? Would they think of themselves as fully human? Would others think of them as monsters? What if when King Fritz hunted them down he accused them of being titans?

Levi would have been seen with even more fear and respect, and maybe others would speak of him as a "monster that slays monsters". Mikasa might say to Eren something like "we're both monsters" and empathize with him during the trial arc.

It would be interesting, if after Levi did drink the wine with Zeke's spinal fluid, he gained some kind of ability, or maybe his appearance became more "bestial". What if drinking the titan serum boosted their natural abilities? If they drank enough of it, they might start exhibiting more titan-like traits for awhile like regenerating limbs. Imagine Kenny accidentally drinks titan serum; he freaks out thinking he is going to become a pure titan, but instead he grows armor like an armored titan for awhile. Would have loved to see them be little freaks like that.

Drabble Challenge - Day 9: Enjoy

Pairing: Levi Ackerman x Petra Ral (aged 16)

a/n: Having so much fun exploring Levi and Petra's past! Believe it or not Levi wasn't so quick to adjust to pairs skating.

Levi tenses as Petra lays her head back on his shoulder during their first full program practice. He excels at the lifts and throws but the real natural of the pair was her. Petra’s artistry was unreal, beautifully affectuous for how little they have worked together, and Levi wasn’t used to it.

Coach Scott beckons him over after cutting the music. 

“You look visibly tortured.” He remarks.

“It’s not my fault, she skates like she’s in love or something..”

“That’s the whole point, Levi.” Coach scoffs lightly. “You should try it, or consider at least looking like you enjoy it.”

I just realized that Levi Ackerman and Petra Ral have been living in my head rent-free since 2014. It’s been 10 years since I started shipping them, and I’ve never once regretted it.

Hello Rivetra fandom ^o^)!!!

This is my first fanart (contributing to the fandom) of Petra after her death in ss1 looking at where her journey ended.

(And if you like it more heartbreaking, then she's there at the moment when Levi looking at her body. She can see his reaction after the squad's death.)

(But it is not like too tragic or anything. It is sad, but still, I want it to be optimistic.)

Actually I had known the ship for like 2 years ago but recently I've just started watching the whole series and finished it. I am pretty late to Rivetra (but luckily still early enough to celebrate their birthdays this year ^^). I had scrolled through numerous posts of the ship with analysis, fanart, fanfic, especially the legend hints collection posts. So happy that there are many people enjoy this ship like me out there.

I hope there will be more Rivetra crumbs in the future (from the game or arts or ANYTHING official haha), and the whole shipdom will like wake up again!!
