what the point of all this instagram shit if you can’t remember the exact moment in your head? Yeah, I’ve taken cool pictures on vacation, yeah I’ve taken the pictures for “likes” BUT

one of the best memories I have was on New Years, I can remember the night clearly in my head... I didn’t take any pictures but I will never forget how unforgettable that day was.

I haven’t written in awhile

I haven’t done the thing that used to bring me joy. I have been distracted, and by my distractions I feel like I have been artistically muted. I haven’t been able to just sit and be inspired by something in quite some time. I used to love writing, I used to love researching something I didn’t know and ask all the questions possible to indulge in a subject I was unfamiliar with. I don’t know what happened to me, but I want that person back, the person that thought she could not anything, I don’t know where I lost her, but it will be my job to find her again. 

I am going to give myself a little challenge, this week will be my “art week” and at first I thought by that I would just write something everyday, I will keep a journal but I won’t limit myself to just writing, I want to indulge in every artistic way that I find interesting, wether that be makeup, and writing a short story, or just writing about what I did that day, drawing, or music all of these things I share a keep passion for. I know it’s hard to get something going after the first draft, but I hope this keeps going for quite some time.
