“Understanding the Relevance of Information and News Literacy in the Midst of Social Era”
Finding trustworthy knowledge is especially essential in the digital/internet age, when millions of ideas may be discovered in a fraction of a second but most of that material is obsolete or useless. News Literacy is a program meant to assist students to develop critical thinking skills, so they can assess the trustworthiness and authenticity of information obtained from print, television, or the Internet. It's a valuable ability in the Digital Age when everyone is dealing with information overload and the difficulties of evaluating the veracity of reports. Students should be taught to assess information largely via the analysis of news as well as new kinds of information that are frequently misconstrued as journalism. Many individuals believe that these literacies make it easier to comprehend communication technology, the message code, the message created, message selection, interpretation, and the message's influence on the recipient.
Furthermore, media literacy, defined as a collection of views for interpreting the meaning of mediated communications to give indications about how to approach the media – in the context of this article, this refers to online social media – can become highly essential. For the benefit of the youth's minds, prevention against the overload of information on social media is still essential because young people, particularly students, have an insatiable thirst for all types of new knowledge. If all material communicated is appropriate for kids, there will be no issues.

"Media and Government: A Love-Hate Relationship"
As media evolves through time, the world is also not the same way as before. The majority of people nowadays use media, and somehow it gets out of hand. Politicians enjoy presenting their achievements and opinions in the media to gain public recognition and expand their authority. The media's role is to critically question, analyze, judge, and relativize these. The media's role is never to blindly or unquestioningly support a political party or cause. It doesn't only destroy the media's credibility and worth (which becomes nothing more than a propaganda factory), but it also damages the political party or cause because no institution can live and adapt to change without constant, constructive criticism. Politicians must treat the media with respect if they are to conduct their job properly.
We all know that people have the right to participate in decision-making in a democratic society. We all know that in a society, each individual has responsibilities, such as voting intelligently and being accountable. The fundamental reason that the media is crucial or plays such a significant role in a democratic society is that it is the only means for citizens to receive information. One of the government's top responsibilities is to enlighten residents and to do so legally, they are not permitted to influence the media and must instead provide valid information to the public. When it comes to the media in a democratic society, it is a tool that's used to educate or inform individuals and voters about anything that has to do with how the government operates and how things are managed. Furthermore, they are providing citizens with not just any news but the facts.
