GROW CASTLE

Last journal entry of the sem! For the last journal entry, I decided to play and post a review about this game, Grow Castle. Grow Castle is a tower defense game. You as a player are the owner of the castle in this game where you have to protect the castle from the invasion of monsters outside the city. There are number of heroes that you can use to defeat the monsters.

Over all the properties and heroes can be upgraded using coins and gems. Heroes have their own unique skills. You can also upgrade and strengthen your castle to improve the defense. Of course each level has its difficulties. There will be a Boss in some levels of the game.

Grow castle is an outstanding tower defense game that offers a gaming experience that is simple, straightforward, but above all fun.

GAME OF WARRIORS

Game of warriors is a strategy tower defense game. 

You need to defend your city from Goblins, Skeletons, Orcs and Worgens. Summon your citizen, train them, give them weapons and defend your city walls.

Command your armies to conquer other cities and lead them to victory. Forge war heroes and use their influence to hire Mercenaries to fight alongside your bannermen.

Lead your armies, expand your civilization throughout the world, overcome all sort of challenges and destroy your enemies!

It has great and excellent graphics and SFX. The most enjoyable and entertaining tower defense game that I ever played with features like: 1500+ defensive waves; 4 heroes to unlock; different commanders to lead your army; 100+ terrorists to conquer; 30+ soldiers to upgrade; 1000+ building upgrades; and 4 civilizations to conquer.

HILL CLIMB RACING

Meet Newton Bill, the young aspiring uphill racer. He is about to embark on a journey that takes him to where no ride has ever been before. From Ragnarok to a Nuclear Plant, all places are a racing track to Bill. With little respect to the laws of physics, Bill will not rest until he has conquered the highest hills up on the moon!

The object of the game is to get the highest score possible. This is normally done by driving as long as possible without bombing out while collecting all the coins you can. But you can also try to perform stunts and special moves while in the air. This is how you can really score more points.

Face the challenges of unique hill climbing environments with many different cars. Gain bonuses from daring tricks and collect coins to upgrade your car and reach even higher distances. Watch out though - Bill's stout neck is not what it used to be when he was a kid! And his good old gasoline crematorium will easily run out of fuel.

This game is very entertaining. it contains the formal and dramatical elements of the game such as: players, objectives, procedure, rules, conflict, boundaries, challenge, story and outcome. Perfect controls and addictive game mechanics. Superb Extreme Road Trip!

ZOMBIE SMASHER

Zombie Smasher is a zombie killing game in which fingertip is used to finish off all zombies that come our way.

Zombies will appear on screen and our goal will be to kill them all by smashing them with our finger before they break down our home.

This game is provided by three different modes:

Story mode with sixty levels in which to discover what is happening while we kill a lot of zombies;

Survival mode; and

Time Mode, that offer more direct experiences if that's possible.

This game is enjoyable with fun graphics. It has 7 totally terrifying enemy zombie breeds which are normal, dog, oil-worker, timber-man, ghost, baby and fat boss.

Zombie Smasher is an action game where we will have to slaughter loads of zombies with the only help of our fingers. A most entertaining pastime.

ONCE UPON A TOWER

Once Upon a Tower has been recently released by the Pomelo Games which has a super fun yet a strategic, tactical gameplay.

The story revolves around a princess in Once Upon a Tower who has been forcefully caught by the beastly dragon and has been kept on the highest floor of the tower. The princess was waiting for her knight to come and save her. Alas! That’s not going to happen because the knight has been eaten by the dragon.

So, there’s no one that can save the princess but the princess herself. You are going to be playing as the princess in this game where she is trying to escape from this massive tower.

As the game begins, there will be a story video which will give you a brief idea about the game. However, it does not require any lengthy tutorials as it is a simple game with simple controls. People of any age group can easily play it as there will be instructions on the screen as the player actually starts playing.

The princess needs to climb down the tower by avoiding various obstacles that come along her way. The enemies will be hit by the hammer which is the weapon the princess is equipped with. Moreover, the princess has to play really quickly in order to avoid those enemies and for gaining bonuses. The dragon will also keep blowing fire after sometime so be quick to avoid it or else accept defeat.

Once Upon a Tower is a very interesting and is not based on just one character. However, there are tons of characters that will be unlocked as you perform well in the game. Not only that, there are be various challenges assigned for each level which make the game even more fun. Make sure to complete all those challenges on time to achieve super exciting rewards.

DIGGY’S ADVENTURE

Diggy's Adventure is a perfect game for all types of players. It has greatly written story full of plot twists while progressing through thousands of brain-teasers and beautiful locations as Egypt, Scandinavia, China or Atlantis.

You will enjoy the creative side of the game - craft items and match various ingredients to help you digging, build your camp or decorate it. Developing your camp is vital since each maze and riddle requires energy to get through the blocks and advance into the other location or mine. You will search for hidden treasures, solve puzzles, fulfill godly quests and reveal the greatest mysteries of the past in this game.

Like the other games you can also gain rewards and experience points to improve rate of energy regeneration or maximum energy capacity by digging through the mines and fulfilling in-game quests assigned by Gods and other characters. Each special event brings you a big content update as well as a lot of tiny improvements to make the game even more challenging and entertaining.

CRAZY KITCHEN

Crazy kitchen was introduced to me by rein last year. It was a game developed by zynga who also developed the Farmville.

You have to match tasty treats in every sweet puzzle adventure. The player is the chef in town and his family and friends are the customers. You have to satisfy their hunger as you travel to various lands creating delicious bakery sweets, savory Asian cuisine, scrumptious Mexican fare, and more. There are over 500 challenging, yet satisfying levels and missions to accomplish. There are also fun combo boosters and power-ups, dozens of delectable foods from around the world, daily costume rewards and extra special features that gives you coins for free, add and share unique photos of your friends, family, pets and more. It can also save your progress and connect with friends.

FARMVILLE 2: COUNTRY ESCAPE

Etong larong to ang hindi nawawala sa phone ko. High school pa lang nilalaro ko na sya. Mas naeenjoy ko kasi yung game pag may mga upgrades and missions for each level. Di ko man sya nalalaro everyday, nandito pa din sya.

Farmville 2 will give you the experience of creating, building and nourishing the farm of your dreams. You’ll interact with a variety of interesting characters, grow and unlock special crops, take care of animals, and make your farm come alive.

ZOMBIE TSUNAMI

Zombie Tsunami is an endless runner that manages to bring something new to the genre. Instead of controlling just one person, you'll be guiding a wave of zombies that grows or shrinks depending on how many people you bite.

During the run, you'll come across lone people who make easy targets as well as obstacles like different vehicles such as cars and buses that you'll have to navigate. Pero kailangan ng certain number of zombies para magproceed at makain yung mga tao.

May mga power ups din na makukuha while playing that can turn your zombies into ninja-zombies, football players, or even a dragon. Missions are also included to make the game more fun and exciting. May coins din that you can collect para makabili ng item or for upgrades sa market. This game can also connect to your facebook account to play with your friends kaya laro na! Char.

COOKING FEVER

For my entry #6 is a cooking simulation mobile game developed by Nordcurrent. In this game, players manage various restaurants by making foods and drinks, serving customers, and earning money.

Like any other games this is also starts with tutorials, of course para di ignorante because ignorance of the law excuses no one!

It’s my first time to play this game kaya kailangan ko sundin tutorials. Gusto ko din magluto(at least man lang dito haha) kaya eto dinownload ko.

At first, syempre madali level 1 basic lang. Each level may goal. Dapat maabot mo yung goal para magkaron ng 1-3 stars and proceed na sa next level. If not, uulit ka. Dito matetest kung gano ka kaalisto sa mga bagay. Bawat customer may oras ng paghihintay (tayo forever) Mga demanding, nakakataranta. May interior ugrades sya para pampabagal ng waiting time ng customers. Pwede ding iupgrade mga kitchen appliances nya like kung ilan, price at time ng preparation. May mga mission din sya na makakadagdag sa coins, diamonds and XPs mo edi level up na!

Ano pang hinihintay nyo? Laro na! Joke. Focus tayo sa thesis. Pero pag pigang piga na eto magdownload na hahaha!

STRIKERS 1945 III

The Striker 1945 III is a shoot ‘em up game that I downloaded on playstore. I chose this game as my #GameDevEntry#5 because it is similar to the game that me and my partner (@roomr13) will design and develop.

This can be played as a single or multi player with the easy, normal, pro and master levels. each levels may mission to defeat all the opponents. Sa dulo dapat madefeat yung master to get through the next missions.

Kapag nacomplete ang isang mission may mga rewards na matatanggap. Iba iba din ang mga makakalaban. May power ups, bombs and medals na makukuha while playing the game.

Recommended sya laruin if bored or you want something excitement and thrill in the game.

This is a game that requires full attention because of the bullets of every opponent that will hit you. A challenging game kaya ilag ilag! Ciao!

BOMBSQUAD

BombSquad is a fun multiplayer game where your mission is to beat your opponents using bombs, fists, and wits in thrilling races, vicious fights, or classic games where what matters is getting out alive.

This game is more fun and exciting if played with several friends. Connect lang sa hotspot ng isang player and then part ka na ng squad! Dito mo maeexperience maging brutal kahit minsan hahaha.

Maganda laruin pag pamatay oras hanggang sa mag eenjoy na. Nilaro ko to with my squad (@matchababu @reinvlr​) around 1st year 2nd sem. Kahit san magpunta pag walang magawa maglalaro hahaha.

PICTIONARY

Players:

4-6 or more. Split into 2 or more groups depende kung ilan ang players

Objective:

Mahulaan yung word na dinodrawing ng player within one minute! Unahan to bes

Procedure:

Every group dapat may 1st artist, 2nd, 3rd and so on. Kailangan mahulaan ng mga kagrupo yung word na dinodrawing ng player within one minute. Unahan sa paghula then roll the dice if nanalo.

Rules:

Bawal magsalita yung nagddrawing. Bawal may word sa drawing. Kailangan mahulaan yung word within one minute.

Conflict:

Di marunong magdrawing at di alam yung word! Hahahaha

Boundaries:

Physical and Virtual

Outcome:

Mamamaos talaga bawat player sa kakasigaw pag hinuhulaan yung word. But you will definitely have fun with this game.

Challenge:

Kailangan idrawing yung word na maiintindihan ng kagrupo mo. Since limited time only, you have to think fast on how you’ll draw it.

Play:

All players are going to guess and draw the word.

Premise/Character/Story:

No story.

MONOPOLY

Players:

2 or more players

Objective:

Magpayaman! Hahahha diskarte sa pagbili ng properties.

Procedure:

Each player will start by rolling the dice. Check the place where you landed and decide if you will buy the property or pay a rent on it. as the game goes on, many houses and hotels are built. If you landed on the property of your playmates, pay your rent.

Rules:

Don’t cheat and follow the instructions of the banker or in the game.

Conflict:

When you are running out of property and money, you’ll get bankrupt!

Boundaries:

Physical and Virtual

Outcome:

This game will give you experience to be the richest player.

Challenge:

When you’re bad at rolling the dice and get to land in the property of your playmates with a hotel or houses on it.

Play:

All the players are landlords that owns some properties with houses or hotels on it.

Premise/Character/Story:

The game has no story. But as you play the game you can experience to have your own.

SNAKE AND LADDER

Players:

2 or more players

Objective:

Reach the finish line.

Procedure:

Roll the dice. Check where you landed. If your piece lands at the bottom of the ladder, you can move up to the top of the ladder. If you land on the head of a snake, you must slide down up to the tail of the snake. The first player to get to the last space is the winner.

Rules:

If the piece landed on the head of a snake it must slide down up to the tail of it. Go to the top of the ladder if your piece landed on the bottom.

Conflict:

When the dice doesn’t cooperate your luck in the game.

Boundaries:

Physical boundary. The game is played on the board.

Outcome:

The game will have one winner only.

Challenge:

Landing on the head of a snake that will bring you down up to the tail.

Play:

All players take turns to experience and play the game.

Premise/Character/Story:

Dito mo kasi makikita na hindi lahat ng dinadaanan mo lahat pataas. May mga bagay talagang hihilahin ka pababa. But you ‘ll still continue to play until you reach the finish line.

GameDev Entry #2

We were ask to bring a deck of cards each group last saturday, November 18. Our prof gave us a time to play atleast 3 games using it.

@roomr13 , @matchababu and I decided to play Lucky 9, Monkey game and Solitaire. We list down the objectives and procedures of each game.

We were also ask to create a new card game and the game that we created was Lucky 7.

Lucky 7 is a combination of Solitaire and Lucky 9. The game requires two or more players. The more the merrier! Each player ay may cards na dinistribute ni Shuffler. Kung sino ang may hawak ng 7 of hearts na card, he will be the first one to drop it. The rotation is either clockwise or counter clockwise. The next player will drop 8 of hearts, 6 of hearts or another 7. Cards are arranged in ascending order(7-King) and in descending order(7-Ace). It must be in the same shapes. The less you have the King and Ace the more chance you'll win! Kailangan lang ng diskarte para mabawasan ang mga last value ng cards mo. Trick your playmates! Hahaha

Some of the games that are created by my classmates ay nilalaro parin namin pag walang ginagawa. And because of that, nagkakaron ng bonding ang SITCOMS! More games to come! 😂

Comeback is Real!

I'm a type of girl who is really not fund of playing mobile or computer games. Panay libro lang kasi hawak ko nung bata ako kaya wala akong alam sa mga laro hahahaha

Come back is real because ngayon na lang ulit nakalaro ng NBA 2k. Code is life kasi hays.

NBA 2k series is a series of basketball simulation video games developed and released annually since 1999. The premise of each game in the series is to emulate the sport of basketball, more specifically, the National Basketball Association, and present improvements over the previous installments. Naks thanks wikipedia hehe

In our subject Game development, Prof @unwrittennerd gave us a task to play a game with our respective partners and will give each of our experience while playing those.

Di na din naman bago ang NBA 2k17 sakin so medyo alam ko yung controls ng game. Since medyo malapit sakin ang basketball eto nilaro namin ni partner. While playing, naamaze ako sa graphics ng game kasi halos gayang gaya na yung features ng itsura ng players dati lang parang mga ano sila tumakbo o gumalaw hahahaha sa sobrang ganda na natatalo ako hahaha. Yes, tambak po ako. Nakakainis. Ang sarap ibato nung phone ni @roomr13 hahaha. Masaya sana pag magkalaban kame kaso mabigat yung game di keri ng phone ko pang purita lang po. Pro na sya kaya easy na lang sakanya.(weh)

Kinda miss those times na nakakapaglaro pa with friends. Physical or virtual games, playing those will really make you a better player, experiences and also helps you to even create or develop your own game.

And after playing, hinawakan ko na ulit yung libro ko...
