Niffty x Baxter? 🤔

Baxter x Niffty Headcanon~

•Smol beans couple but f u c k i n g  c h a o t i c

•Niffty is a little ball of enthusiasm bouncing off the walls, Baxter a small neurotic creature ready to run if someone even thinks of just getting a little closer to him.

•Niffty’s favorite pastime, before they started dating, was to sneak into Baxter’s lab and annoy him. Clean up things that weren’t supposed to be clean, rearrange things in a different order, or simply sneak up on Baxter and scare him.

•Baxter tried everything to keep her out of his lab, but Niffty turned out to be extremely clever at discovering all his traps and going beyond his safety measures. 

•Since there was no way to keep Niffty out, he might as well have made her his assistant. He explained to her how to label the experiments, what the functions of the machines were, what all the switches were for.

•Since Niffty is grown up in the 40s and 50s, she doesn’t know many things about chemistry and science because at school it wasn’t a subject “for ladies”. Baxter is pissed by this, and has taught her the whole periodic table and a lot of other scientific stuff. 

Baxter:… so the Carbon more form bonds up to four and can create long chains that …-

Niffty: So Carbon can make friends! 

Baxter: Carbon chemistry is not like friendsh …-

Niffty: Yes it is! Carbon could be alone, but it is happier if it forms links with other Carbon! This is friendship! 

•Low-key Baxter finds her approach really adorable. 

•Baxter is one who often forgets to eat to do his experiments, Niffty scolds him about this.

•Niffty is the only one who knows how to make tea as Baxter likes. She also taught him to cook sweets and Baxter is surprisingly good, because bakery is pretty much science! Now it’s their favorite activity to do together.

•Niffty often helps Baxter with her social anxiety. She is so exuberant that people don’t really pay attention to him.

•If you want to go out with Niffty you must have the approval of Alastor, Mimzy and Husk. The three are the closest thing to friends (or family) to Niffty.

•Alastor is pleased for the two of them, especially because he was annoyed by the fact that Baxter was always sooo grumpy and anxious. 

•Mimzy is ecstatic and ready to organize the wedding. 

•But Husk is the fucking proud one. He tried to get Baxter through all his anxieties for weeks without ever succeeding and was worried that Niffty would get together with another shitty man. He will never admit anything, but he is a #ProudGrampa

She's can be nice (most of the time) Wisteria and Baxter are good friends when they're not at each other's throats~
