-Rockclans camp is completely underground with only small tunnels leading through to each room. This has prevented Rockclans camp from ever being invaded as most of the other clans cats are too big to fit through. Even if they could, they'd still have to file through one-by-one, leaving Rockclan with major advantage. -The Rockclan Medicine Cat den was chosen by the first Rockclan Medicine cat due to the seemingly supernatural glowing moss, similar to the moss seen in the Star Tree. It is believed that sleeping near the moss allows a cat to be more open to Starclan. -Thrushpelt is the youngest medicine cat who's not an apprentice. She lost her mentor, Crowpelt, only a few moons before this when an old, under-used tunnel collapsed on her. -Thrushpelt was an apprentice when Crowpelt died, so Rustbelly, the Nightclan Medicine cat, preformed her ceremony, naming her after Crowpelt, at Thrushpelts request. -Poppyeyes is the deputy of Rockclan and a rather young one at that. But her kindness and compassion, not to mention her excellent fighting skills, makes her an excellent contrast to the fiery and sometimes cruel personality of Smallstar

Applestem, warrior of Rockclan and her apprentice Frecklepaw

Applestem is one of the best fighters of Rockclan. She’s larger than most Rockclan cats (she’s still small to any other clan) but she’s incredibly strong and is able to take on cats much larger than her. Applestem is a fierce believer in the Warrior Code and basically has no interest in any cat outside of her own clan. While she can be strict and harsh, she does have her soft spots, especially for kits (but don’t tell anyone that)

Frecklepaw is a cat who takes her duties very seriously, even if it’s just picking ticks and fleas of the elders or changing a queen’s bedding she will do it immediately and makes sure it gets done well. Frecklepaw is not a strong cat by any means, but she makes up for it in speed and strategy. She actually has a fascination with battle strategy and figuring out how to do things in the most efficient way possible. She looks up to Applestem a lot and wants nothing more than to make her proud

Mudthistle, Flamefur and Emberglow of Nightclan and their apprentices; Thunderpaw, Ravenpaw and Russetpaw

Mudthistle is one of the oldest warrior that’s not considered an elder warrior, she’s serious and not afraid to speak her mind as long as it’s respectful. She believes strongly in her clans leadership and Starclan’s guidance. She’s also not one to partake is any petty rivalry between the clans, thinking there are more important things to worry about than which clan is better.

Flamefur is a young warrior whose not exactly sure where his place in the world is. He doesn’t like sleeping so he’s often very tired and often dozes off at inappropriate moments. When he’s awake he’s actually very sweet and tries his best to be helpful to any cat who needs it.

Emberglow is a very young warrior and much more interested in having fun than anything else. She has many friends outside Nightclan, including rouges and kittypets. She’s not one to back down from a challenge and would do anything as long as someone dared her. She really doesn’t like kits and has made it very clear that she’d rather jump off a cliff than have kits of her own.

Thunderpaw, Ravenpaw and Russetpaw are all siblings and the main characters of the story

Thunderpaw is the oldest, largest and strongest. She’s very eager to become a warrior and dreams of becoming leader. She also tends to ask a lot of questions, much to the annoyance of her mentor Mudthistle. While Thunderpaw often teases her siblings, she would do anything for them, she doesn’t care about rank, size or age, if a cat is hurting her siblings, she’s going to tell them off and might even physically attack them. Basically she believes strongly in “No one’s allowed to pick on them but me.”

Ravenpaw is the smallest of the bunch but that doesn’t stop him from having a sharp tongue. The only cats allowed to defend him besides himself are his older sisters. He’s very pessimistic and untrusting of other cats. He’s also very good at observing them and tends to notice things most would overlook. While he loves his sisters he's not afraid to tell them when they’re annoying them, mostly Thunderpaw. Ravenpaw doesn’t really have any strong feelings for his mentor Flamefur yet.

Russetpaw is the youngest and the quietest, as she’s constantly thinking about everything. Every word and action is carefully calculated, which can be frustrating due to her siblings often acting and talking without thinking. She often feels like she has to be the older sibling and is constantly making sure Thunderpaw and Ravenpaw don’t get into too much trouble. While she wants to trust Dawnstar, she often has doubts about Emberglow’s mentoring capability, as Emberglow doesn’t seem to have any interest in actually teaching her anything.

Stonepool and Timbershade, warriors of Rippleclan and their apprentices Tawnypaw and Brindlepaw.

Stonepool is a ambitious and cocky young warrior. She’d much rather physically attack a problem then try to talk it out and as such has been in her fair share of fights. Being half Savannah cat, she is much larger than most cats and isn’t afraid to use her strength and speed to her advantage. However she often bites off more than she can chew and spends a good percentage of her time in the medicine cat den due to injuries. She also had many litter mates, all of who were born weak and died as kits.

Timbershade is a bit younger than Stonepool and looks up to the larger warrior a lot. Timbershade kind of acts like Stonepools lackey. The two got in a lot of trouble as apprentices and as such got punished a lot, usually cleaning out the dens or kit-sitting. Timbershade likes to brag about how she lost her eye to a fox, though the fox gets bigger every time she tells the story.

Tawnypaw is Stonepools apprentice and she wasn’t too happy to get the inexperienced and hot-headed warrior for a mentor. She’s still a bit grumpy about it but can see that Stonepool really cares about turning her into the best warrior she can be. She also knows quite a bit about healing, considering she’s often is checking for her mentor in the medicine cat den. Tawnypaw is Brindlepaws and Hollowwings sister, Hollowwing being for an older litter, though.

Brindlepaw is Timbershades apprentice, a confident and sweet cat, Brindlepaw is much more talkative than her sister, and more likely to leap before she looks. Brindlepaw loves exploring and meeting new cats, she can often be seen listening to the elders and older warrior’s stories and her favorite story-teller is Mossstar, just because he’s lived for so long.

Hollowwing, Whiteflower and Badgerpaw of Rippleclan

Hollowwing is the deputy. A timid and kind cat, Hollowwing’s looks and friendliness has gotten her many crushes, but she has no interest in relationships and it doesn’t help that she’s too nice to outright reject them. She does have a secret talent for strategy and planning. She may seem a bit ditzy and shy but get her to organize something and she’ll seem like an entirely different cat.

Whiteflower is the Medicine Cat. Clearly very pretty and clean, Whiteflower used to be a kittypet named Casper who joined the clans when he met the previouse medicine cat, Riverlight, collecting herbs outside of his garden. He tried being a warrior at first but it simply didn’t fit him so he instead became Riverlight’s apprentice. Overall he loves his new life and his clan, though his favorite thing is the nursery, he loves kits and he’ll visit them whenever he gets the chance.

Badgerpaw is Whiteflower’s apprentice. Ambitious and confident, Badgerpaw wants to be the best medicine cat of all time. She’s actually pretty small, especially compared to her siblings, but neither that nor the fact she’s not a very good fighter in the first place has stopped her from picking fights with cats twice or even three times her size, Whiteflower has stepped in many times to make sure his apprentice doesn’t get herself killed.

Thrushpelt and Poppyeyes - sisters of Rockclan

Thrushpelt is the Rockclan Medicine Cat, she’s pretty chill and works well under pressure, she excels in times of crisis. While she does have a lot of faith in Starclan she knows that any prays to them must be met halfway in order to work. Thrushpelt loves her sister, even if they don’t usually agree on stuff, and would do anything for her.

Poppyeyes is the Deputy of Rockclan. Energetic, friendly and sympathetic, she’s the compleat opposite of Thrushpelt. Despite this, they’re very close and always had been. When Thrushpelt choice to become a med cat Poppyeyes worried about them growing separate and even tried to become a med cat apprentice as well. But with Thrushpelt insisting that nothing could separate them, Poppyeyes fulfilled her dreams of being a warrior. While they’ve grown less dependent on each other, Poppyeyes still brings Thrushpelt Fresh-kill every morning and they talk about their very different lives.

Featherflame, Spiderpaw and Windpelt of Meadowclan

Featherflame is the Medicine Cat of Meadowclan, a rather positive fellow but he can get very passive-aggressive when annoyed. He doesn’t like crowds so if you’re not dying he’s probably not going to let you stay in his den for very long. Despite this, he’s probably the most sympathetic out of Windpelt and Cinderstar, so he usually acts as the moral one between the three.

Spiderpaw is Featherflame’s apprentice. Eager to become a Medicine Cat but a bit ditzy and air-headed. She loses track of time a lot and often disappears without telling anyone. Despite this she doesn’t really struggle learning herbs and how to treat cats. She does, however, have a hard time connecting to Starclan, which often leaves her upset and frustrated after Medicine Cat gatherings but Featherflame ensures her if Starclan had something important to tell her they will. Overall, she’s well-meaning, but has a long way to go to become the med cat she wants to be.

Windpelt is the deputy and a bit hot-headed. He likes flirting with everyone he can get away with and has a lot of friends, in and out of Meadowclan.  He can be a bit obvious when it comes to other cats emotions, so he sometimes makes cats uncomfortable with his flirting and doesn’t know to quit it unless someone tells him outright. He tends to be a bit too eager to jump into battle and a bit too quick to leave them. Cinderstar mostly made him deputy to keep him in check and for him mature, and she made sure that Featherflame knows to appoint someone else for leadership if she loses all her lives while Windpelt is deputy.

Dustpaw, Fallenpaw and Rabbitpaw - Apprentices of Nightclan

Info about them below!

these three are all siblings, Dustpaw and Fallenpaw are biological brothers and Rabbitpaw was found as a tiny, starving, three-legged kit hiding in a bush by a Nightclan patrol. A queen, named Doestrike, having two kits roughly the same age as her, imediedenly adopted Rabbitpaw and raised her as her own. The three are very close and Rabbitpaw couldn’t care less about what other cats think about her.

Dustpaw is an ambitious young cat and extremely immature. He has spent his fair share cleaning out dens throughout his apprenticeship for doing dumb things. Like playing a prank on Frostscar, scaring the kits, and just being a general nuisance.

Fallenpaw is the Medicine Cat’s apprentice. He knew he wanted to be a med cat from a young age but always thought the position was too good for him. Med cats communicate directly with Starclan, they save lives, they receive prophecies. Fallenpaw thought he could never fulfill that. But with encouragement from Dustpaw and Rabbitpaw, he finally managed to ask Rustbelly, whose answer was “sure, why not?” Fallenpaw never felt better than that day.

Rabbitpaw is loud, to say the least, and Dustpaw’s partner in trouble making. Because of her missing leg, many thought she was going to be the medicine cat apprentice but she insisted on becoming a warrior. Not to mention she had Rustbelly on her side, the med cat insisted that medicine cat apprentices must being willing to endure the role unless there’s no other choice. And Rabbitpaw has more than proven herself to be a skilled fighter and hunter.

Rustbelly - Medicine Cat of Nightclan

Most cats can agree Rustbelly is a very strange medicine cat. She believes in Starclan but doesn’t actually think they have any control over the living world. Instead she believes that The Universe is a living being that’s everything and nothing all at once, The Universe loves cats but it’s connection to living things is limited. So The Universe sends Starclan prophecies when it senses a danger to the clans. Hence the vagueness.

Rustbelly doesn’t like many cats, the exception being Dawnstar and a few others, and thinks petty rivalries between clans are dumb, which is one of the reasons she became a medicine cat. She always admired the friendliness between med cats. 

Though everyone was surprised when she asked to be a med cat apprentice, Rustbelly was always ambitious, loud and a bit violent, her parents thought she was going to be a great warrior, or even leader. And while she’s mellowed out a bit, she’s still a bit, unorthodox, in her interactions with injured cats. In that she tends to explain every way they could die from their current injury, point out every herb she could kill them with and how they could of avoided getting injured.

Frostscar - Deputy of Nightclan

Frostscar is a serious cat, most have never even seen her smile, let alone laugh. She also happens to be the largest cat of Nightclan, and probably in all the clans, most find her rather intimidating because of this.

Frostscar is also quite level headed and knows how to give orders. Many thought she would be chosen for leader, even Dawnstar, which is probably why she was chosen for deputy.

While she is scary to those outside of Nightclan, a lot of Nightclan cat openly go to her for advice about their problems. Not that she gives much advice, she mostly just listens quietly until they figure it out for themselves.

Being so large, Frostscar tends to stay away from the nursery and kits in general, because she’s afraid of stepping on them and possibly killing them. Dawnstar assures her that it wouldn’t happen but Frostscar doesn’t want to risk it.
