With a little bouquet of purple daisies, Gabe walked towards Marie’s room, humming under his breath a song he had heard on the radio that had made him think of Marie. He supposed it was kind of cheesy but…He smiled to himself as he knocked on the door, waiting for her to appear, beautiful as always.

Marie opened her door and smiled when he saw him, by Odin why he had to be so handsome. She leaned in but just to gently rest her forehead against his chest as her hands hooked on his shirt.

She took a little breathe in but it got out shakly, she couldn’t help it, she was ... more sensitive than what she liked to admit.

Marius tilted his head to try to remember who Gabe was and why he was traveling with them.-"Great, that is good. Then I'll leave it that way"

It's alright, I don't think he can get angry if I explain it to him. After all you don't look pleased with the idea of going.

“Well...I’m not sure, Gabe might want to see his brother.”

“Yes, Jarvis.” Eirik said with a light chuckle, leaning to kiss his sister’s cheek. “If it’s a uncle Elsker gave it to you, it will have signal. Special feature and all that.” He explained with a little shrug, hugging her back. “Have fun in Asgard. Try to go out and enjoy it, not just snog your boyfriend.” He teased, poking her cheek.

“I’ll take one of those, so we’ll be fine I guess.” She smiled, nipping her bottom lip and blushing deeply and the teasing.

“Of course we’ll go out! Shut up!” Marie covered her face and got up. “Okay, I’ll leave now so we both can pack and stuff...I’ll see you later, take care.” She hugged him one last time and walked out the room.

“I don’t know…A while.” He hoped Caelan wouldn’t mind much. Eirik knew his twin had a life of his own and he didn’t want to impose but at the same time, he really needed to get out of the Tower. “No, we didn’t. It’s just…” I haven’t even seen him in Gods knows how long. “I don’t know. The Tower is too big sometimes, I need a break.”

“I see.” She did not understand quite well her brother’s reasons but she was no one to question him about them. Besides, Cael was so more fun than being just at the Tower sometimes.

“I’ll go visit you both then, when I get back. Make sure to take your toothbrush...uh...text me when you’re there? I don’t know if I’ll have signal but it’s worth a shot, yes?” She smiled and hugged him tightly.

“I’m sure he’ll be happy to have you.” Eirik said and bit his lower lip for a moment. “But… Marie, could you um…Not tell dad about it?” He said, trying to sound as casual as possible, looking at some point in the wall. “I just….Wanna stay with Cael for a bit and um….Yeah.”

“What? For how long?” She got up and approached him, placing a hand over his shoulder. “I mean of course, I won’t tell him but... you two had a fight or something?” By now, it was no secret her brothers had a rocky relationship with their father but it was still hard to know when things like that happened.

“Well, dad doesn’t really get a say in that.” Eirik said with a light shrug. “Gabe is not under his command, after all. So don’t worry about it.” He told her with a smile. “I’m sure you’ll have your handsome boy to make out with, it’ll be like romantic vacations.” He said with a light chuckle.

“Hmm? Oh….No, I—” He scrunched up his nose, debating between telling Marie that he didn’t even knew his parents would be gone or tell a white lie. “Um…Cael invited me over. Promised him to go and stuff.”

“Oh well that’s fine...” Marie bith her bottom lip, thinking that maybe she could stay with her brothers? Maybe in Cael’s place? That would be so much fun...more fun than stupid Asgard. But maybe...since they didn’t tell her about it then maybe it was a twins thing.

She cleared her throat and smiled. “Have fun there! Tell hello from me and that I’ll be over his place when I get back if that’s alright.”

The little rant started and ended before Eirik could say a thing. Rushed and angry words pouring out of Marie’s mouth as if she was unable to stop them. Eirik listened to her, closing the door behind him, leaning against it as he frowned softly.

“You….You guys are going to Asgard? When?” He asked. No one had told him about it and it made him feel….He didn’t want to think how it made him feel. “You are still a child, darling.” He decided to say, focusing on her was easier than thinking about his parents simply forgetting that he was still in the damn Tower or how Marie was lucky enough to think she saw too much of their dad.  “And to him you’ll always be a kid but hey, I’m sure Gabe will be happy to go with you.” He said with a smile, sitting next to Marie. “He is from there, isn’t he? I’m sure he’ll have lots of things to show you.”

“Yes but I don’t think dad allow him to go with us like all together, maybe if he arrives there later and I sneak out to see him. But I don’t want to get him in trouble or anything. I don’t know...I’m just angry he didn’t ask and he thinks that I don’t have a life of my own.”

She said a little more calm now, looking up at Eirik. “Are you coming with us? It’ll be more fun if you come.”

This days Eirik spend most of his time reading and on his own. Perfecting potions he found on old, dusty books or practising fencing with a dummy. The most exciting parts of his day to day life were the occasional visit from Mark and his runs on the park where a fun thing or two would happen…If he was lucky enough.

He was surprised when he heard someone knocking on the door, thinking that Mark was busy and no one else really came visit this days but then he opened the door and…

“Marie!” He said happily. His sister had been busy, growing up and all that, spending time with the guard and smiling a lot. He was happy for her, glad she found who knew how special she was. “Hey, what a surprise.” He told him, moving away from the door to let her in. “What can I do for you, princess?”

Marie stepped inside her brother’s room and sat on his bed. “Dad says we’re leaving to Asgard tomorrow and I really don’t want to go! I want to stay here with Gabe, we had plans already! Besides, why does he wants me there? It’s so boring! There’s nothing to do...well yes but not the things I want to do...besides there’s a lot of people here and uncle Jarvis is staying so he can make sure I don’t get in trouble...and it’s not like...we see dad too often these days, right?”

She frowned, crossing his arms above her chest and letting out a heavy sigh. “I’m sorry...I just...I’m just upset because I feel a little frustrated, he’s not even asking, just ordering me. I’m not a child anymore.”

It all came out of the blue, her father had came with the news that him, her mom and her were going to leave for Asgard and the little trip was going to last one week. In other times she wouldn't have cared but now...it was so sudden and she didn't want to go! She wanted to stay there with Gabriel and keep her little perfect life how it was right now! Marie slammed the door and flopped on her bed, texting Gabe with the bad news and hopping he could come with a plan to come over with her because she was not going to leave him behind...not in this life.

She stayed in her room for a few hours before going to Eirik's to vent a little about the situation, he always knew what to say and maybe he could help her pick what clothes she could take. Marie knocked on his door while scrolling down her phone.

"Uh fine"- Alex shrugged and smiled at her.-"I should get going, it was great to see you princess"-

“Oh well, alright.See you later Alex.”

"Sorry"- He looked down and kept his hands inside of his pockets.

“So, how have you been?”

"Like this..."- He giggled and covered her pretty face with both hands

She chuckled lightlyand stepped back.

“Don’t do that.”
