[Reflecmon: They shed, they create unknowable masses of dander, they’re carriers for all sorts of bacteria and parasites, and all-around are incredibly unpleasant animals. I’ve always hated cats, and that trait remains persistant. ]

[Reflecmon: It’s worse here because they can TALK. And I have to LISTEN to this one. Mind you, Captain Gatomon is a Champion stage. I would get my ass handed to me on a silver platter the moment I showed a hint of rebellion around her. ]

[Reflecmon: I am being as genuine as I can when I say I would TRUELY rather die than deal with THREE of her.]

salted protein, primarily seafood (dried fish). fresh seafood is her top personal preference, but is rare to come across.

no specific preferred foods, he likes anything he can take with him that wont spoil quickly. but he Does have a sweet tooth (not that he'll ever admit it).

all foods he eats has to be pre-cut into small enough pieces to fit through the laces on his lips, so anything already small or anything that can be torn or cut easily.

cheap protein cuts (bottom feeding fish, low-marbled meat cuts)

she can't eat any of these in her rookie form, however, and feeds on the negative emotions of others in close proximity.

The afternoon sun shines as best as it can through the thick clouds that surround the solitary castle. Most of it’s residents, being primarily nocturnal, are either asleep or spending their free time away from the oppressive air of the area. Two figures stand in the vast, barren courtyard. One of the lower rank’s training dummies has been set up, a thick section of cut tree trunk supported by sandbags at its base. Its surface is weathered and worn, deeply embedded with scratches at every angle.

“Golden Claw!”

Three metal-tipped nails jab forward, leaving a trio of pockmarks in the bark. The smaller of the two figures, a purple Rookie stage, sighs and holds her wrist as she dislodges her cone-shaped claws from the dummy.

“My wrist is killin’ me, Cap.. Isn’t saying what I’m about to do kinda counter-intuitive?”

The larger figure- a crimson-and-grey cloaked Ultimate- sighs as they float closer to the ground, approaching the Rookie’s side.

“The Digital World exists with a very specific ruleset. Not abiding by these, no matter how archaiac they seem, can put you at a disadvantage in combat.”

Now at her level, two steely blue eyes meet a singular red one. The metal chains that hang off of the Ultimate rattle as they brush against the worn brick ground.

“And any disadvantage for someone like us could be fatal. You have to keep in mind that the monsters you’ll be facing have lived here their entire life, you’ve only just arrived. We have to work twice as hard to meet the everyday standard of someone who’s been doing it for multiple repeated life cycles.”

They rear back and surge forward, sending a metal macehead towards the wooden pole. Its connected chain coils around the target with a resounding series of clanks, and is pulled taut to the point of cracking the wood by the fabric-bound hand it was cast from.

“If you’d like to take a break, Reflecmon, don’t expect me to come to your aid.”
