Hey, my name is Megan, and I'm a writer, a book nerd, a poet, and a theater nerd. This is just a snippet of my world, welcome to the insanity.

The lake was silent for some time. Finally, it said:
"I weep for Narcissus, but I never noticed that Narcissus was beautiful. I weep because, each time he knelt beside my banks, I could see, in the depths of his eyes, my own beauty reflected".

attis
“everyone wants to live forever. but wouldn’t you rather live again?”
rebirth is a firm belief in the minds of those living in the unnamed city. the house of attis, alongside the houses of asteria and crios, form the religious foundation of the city. attis herself has many forms; it is said that if she chooses to manifest, she wears a different face each time. those who meet attis are often offered a position in her temple— it is not unheard of to meet her, but it is most certainly a rare occurrence to see a goddess at all.
