I actually posted fanfic of S°u.th Pārķ on FF…net, like almost twenty years ago (like back when an iBook is a laptop). Then, Devil Survivor 2 fanfictions written and posted by me on A°3 around ten years ago? By that time, I’ve already started on tumblr as a canon muse ask blog.

Sometimes, Zdzisław finds university life to be quite ridiculous, this whole 5 slots of the day stretching from 9 am to past 6 pm, for example. When you have a mandatory class on the first slot, you would probably fill it three lectures back to back and call it a day. But the classes the student wanted to take led him to slot 1, 3, and 5 instead. Living not too far from the campus means he wanders around a bit after class. Except this time, class on slot 3 was cancelled, leaving a quarter of a day free.

The student wandered into places unknown quite some distance. Only to be called at over joining some class? Fair enough, the Pole could certain learn some stuff he wouldn't be able to from a cancelled class. Is the other content with having a foreign student in his class though? The university student stood out a little in the shrine.

※ I don't, but, okay...? ※

Oh... the other isn't listening and the student just followed no questions asked. This seems to be a part of the community that student has yet to venture to despite his plans to do so someday, so perfect timing actually.

※ Dragonfly... ball charms? Do we need dragonflies to make them? ※

Intrigued yet clueless, Zdzisław looks around to see if there is anything that might resemble what the other is talking about.

You can join my class since you don’t have any other plans~ ❞ A shameless smile bloomed on the man’s face with a glimmer of hope in his eyes that peeked through platinum blond bangs. Kagami had turned around before the stranger had time to utter a response and headed towards the back of his little store that was nestled just off the main path to the local shrine.

Display stands just outside the door of his store held various sparkling charms, both of the mascot character of the shrine as well as Kagami’s own original designs. A handmade wind chime rung as a strong gust of summer breeze blew past them before Kagami turned back to face the potential customer as if to confirm they would actually follow him towards the area the class would be held at.

❝ Today was the day I planned to teach how to make tonbodama charms, but it’s been so warm lately that less and less people have come by to take any classes. If you’re here, at least I won’t be lonely when I make some~ ❞

Skye has no idea what to do with the predicament at hand. It is certainly... a lot.

Sure, his gear has been returned, but some of those stuff weren't his! Where the heck did some of the ingredients come from? Skye has never seen them before! Myriad of thoughts run through the witch-warlock as he froze in place. Is this person a thief? No, that wouldn't make sense since his items were returned.

Is this person the reason shredding into molecules and getting out of here was not possible for Skye, despite having no issues all this while prior? Not really, this one's presence is different than what he had previously felt... less woody, more earthy... with certainly no creature like the one on the other's head.

A wood nymph? Why would they have interest in a habour city boy like Skye?!

「 ⁅ T-thank you...? There's a... tanuki? On your h-head, I think... ⁆ 」

That was all Skye could have mustered, the creature sure is distracting to him. Hold on, hold, the witch-warlock can't leave just yet, not when he is being hunted. He completely forgot to mention that though.

Jace had started a collection.

He found himself in possession of a new tent, a few odds and ends, and some nifty new potion ingredients. In truth, he wasn't the thief, but the good Samaritan in this equation. There was a misbehaving spirit in this neck of his forest, and it had selected this wayward stranger as its new favorite toy.

Jace could only imagine what wild things were running through the man's mind every time he woke up miles away from where he'd slept. Whatever wild things they were, watching Jace emerge from the forest and into the clearing, wearing a raccoon atop his head probably just added fuel to the fanciful fire.

"Enchanted is one way to put it..." Haunted would've been another...Sentient would've also worked. Jace leaned his extremely long staff forward, dropping the man's missing gear next to him. "You made a friend of a wood nymph...without your consent. It didn't want you to leave, but I'll escort you out if you're ready."

The interior of the izakaya sure did a complete 180 compared to its sign outside, but it is certainly welcomed. No longer does Volkov have to squint at the overly bright neon sign as dimmed lighting gave way and low-fi soft music played in the background. While the werewolf has certainly gotten used to the loud hustling and bustling of New York, quietness is always welcomed. The wolf in him agrees moreso.

Volkov could hear the gentle closure of the door as Xander steps in, the door posed no problem at all for the small werewolf when he came in the izakaya. Heck, he could jump and still would... nah, he would hit his head for sure, the door is just that low but low doors are the norm in Japan. Something about a smaller door collapsing during a major earthquake being safer than some gigantic door that might be an obstacle.

The small werewolf is certainly chaotic in his movements, the wolf within him is curious too! New sights to behold! Unfamiliar scents that the wolf in him needs to know! Of course, Volkov is still very lost, though he froze in his tracks when he felt his shoulder touched. Not out of fear nor did he flinch, the small werewolf is merely awaiting for directions to be given, the direction he was given is duly followed and the gentle shove turned the once chaotic wandering into an orderly march as he nods, going just up there, trying his very best not to break anything.

Volkov nodded with a smile on his face. It's not really a smug one but rather, a content one as they settled down at their spot. Unfortunately he is legally not a kid, though with that height and all he rather be a kid nevertheless.

the izakaya is warm and inviting ; while the sign outside was brightly lit, the ambience inside was all dim lighting and soft music - a bit easier on the senses which is part of the reason that xander enjoys it so much. it would get busier the later into the night that it got, but he never stayed for too long ; some food after a long day and a drink was all that he usually stayed for.

the door closes behind them once xander steps in, having to duck his head just a little to get through the doorway. he's been here often enough that the owner had once said something about raising the door frame just enough so that he wouldn't have to bend down, but he'd brushed it off without a second thought. a kind gesture, to be sure, but not one that he'd actively take up.

it's almost chaotic, the way that volkov moves about, a lost little puppy in desperate need of some guidance. a tattooed hand reaches out and grabs the other by the shoulder just to turn him in the direction they were meant to be headed. "just up there. try not to break anything." it's with a gentle shove that he gets the two of them moving again, this time into the communal area where there seemed to be a few people already sitting around and chatting with friends. xander moves past the other then, finds a spot toward the back where he usually sits.

"you even old enough to drink? sure they have some kids juice tucked away somewhere if it's more your style."
