Evaluation
I think overall we worked well as a group and were able to come up with a successful brand that could work. I think we found a few things slightly more difficult such as coming up with a complete look for our garments, we had many ideas of what we could include or what it could look like based purely on our ethos, values and our concept but as individuals we all have very different aesthetics and being able to put thee garment designs together was slightly harder than expected.
On the other hand all of our differences allowed us to choose something out of ask our comfort zones meaning that we all worked as much as the other to put this brand together.

Presentation - Slide 9
Tumblr media
This slide was used to explain who we would like to collaborate with and when that could happen. With more local artists such as Emily Sparkes this could happen while the store is relatively new as it could bring new customers and promote the store. With the like of Billie Eilish this would be something that could happen in our future when we are more established as a brand and have more of a following.

Much like the last slide this one shows the final designs for the packaging that we would create and use as well as how we would like to be as sustainable with it. The pouch bags made of fabric will allow the customer to reuse them or return them to the store so that we can reuse them in the future.

In this slide we spoke about the survey and how it helped us with the pricing and how our target market feels about certain aspects of our brand like sustainability. We also spoke about the price breakdown of our garments and how we got those prices.

Presentation - Slide 5
Tumblr media
Here we spoke briefly about our logo, we have the main ‘Renaissance’ logo in which we swapped the ‘i’ for the shape seen in the first logo. We then created a smaller logo using the ‘R’ and ‘N’ from Renaissance, also experimented with replacing the shape at the centre of the first logo with the name of our brand in the next and then with our slogan ‘Right Now’ as our brand stand for change and as being part of Gen-Z, we wanted to be current.

Presentation - Slide 3
Tumblr media
This was to show who could potentially be our competition yet each of these brands has one or two elements that we are trying to showcase with our brand, but we are yet to find a brand that is almost like ours from the vision and purpose to the garments and the feeling we want to evoke from our customers.

Brand
This is what our brand stands for
Vision & purpose: Creating Inclusive clothing with Sustainability at the centre of our practice. Embracing Community, by supporting Young Designers and Artists through collaboration.
We don’t want to just create a brand with a simple store we want to bring together a community where anyone and everyone can come and feel at home within this collaboration space.
In our future we would like to be able to collaborate with local artist expanding our community to others and the proceeds we would make from these collaboration would got toward helping charities.

Packaging
Although I elected to do the technical drawings for the final designs I also chose to mock up the looks for the packaging and how it would work all together.
First I started with this pouch bag, we wanted a bag for our garments before putting them into a box for shipping and continuing with the sustainability chose that we would make them out of off-cuts of fabric limiting the amount of fabric that would go to waste from the production of our garments.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
These are the first designs I had in mind for the mailbox and I chose to create a box that would be able to be closed without the use of adhesive stickers as they aren’t always sustainable. I used a deep green colouring on the box as this seems to fit with the overall aesthetic of the brand.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here are mock ups of the mailbox that I had created, I changed the design on the outside of the box, I decided to use a black background and the logo in white which I stretched across the whole of the top. On the inside bottom of the box I used the little shape present in the logo which can be seen on the side of the box. There are also variations of this box with ones to match the labels at the bottom but as a group we found that the more simplistic one worked best as it didn't distract from the garments instead working with them quite well.
Tumblr media
These are the mock ups for a tote bag using different background colours with the different logos. I chose a grey and a green as the initial colour I chose for the box was a deep green but ultimately chose to use the grey/black as it matches with the mailbox design.
Tumblr media
These are the final designs for the packaging.
Tumblr media
The labels were not created by me, one of my team mates created these along with the promotional aspects as the designs fit our aesthetic that we are going for and with the more simplistic packaging seen about these would work well together.

Technical drawings of final designs
Here are the first draft of the technical drawings I did of the final designs. I decided to do the technical drawings for our brand as I enjoyed learning how to do this in the workshop the most out of our group and didn’t mind doing them for the final designs.
There are a couple of t-shirts as the one from the design I was working from seemed more fitted than what we were looking for. From here I sent them to the rest of the group when we were having a meeting so that I could get feedback from them if anything needed changing.
Tumblr media
During our meeting I was given a few notes on the dungarees and the t-shirt, as expected, from there I changed a few things making a couple of the garments a little more of a loser fit.
