this is a rewritten version of a post i made on my old blog months ago. i hope you enjoy! actively updating ^^

LAST UPDATED 7/24/25

-andre is chronically ill in some way. there are periods where he doesn’t show up to school for weeks, but the one day he shows up he’s still not doing so well. he claims he can handle it on his own but secretly he wants cal by his side to help him.

-cal’s an impulsive spender; more so an impulsive person in general. he listens to one song by a band, and buys their record the same week. it collects dust in his room along with the other items he’s bought. andre always tells him it’s not good, and that incase they need to flee he should be smarter with his money; but again, andre doesn’t know cal is ready to go.

-it’s canon that cal smokes weed, but i feel like cal has also done shrooms. he knows a guy who knows a guy, and somehow always knows where to get cigarettes despite being under legal smoking age. andre takes cbd as a pain reliever. anything else makes him anxious or sick.

-andre is diagnosed with, or at least shows symptoms of ocd. he’s obsessive over schedules, organization, routine. he has to do things in patterns and place things in a line. he has intrusive thoughts about people finding out about zero day and getting sent to jail. as a result he over prepares, hence the fake passport and related objects in his closet.

-cal shows up to andre’s house unannounced. sometimes andre won’t even be home and he’ll help out around the house, and then go and wait in his room until andre’s home from work. andre always greets him with a tired “..the fuck are you doing?” but sits down on the bed next to cal immediately after.

-their first kiss was something they barely talk about. it happened in andre’s basement, they couldn’t sleep, so they laid awake on the floor, staring at the ceiling, and then staring at each other. although they agreed to not mention it, it tears at them every single day, and when they see each other after that it’s clear they want to do it again, but they’re both too nervous.

-cal’s handwriting changes depending on his mood. for example it gets messier when he’s angry or sad.

-andre puts slashes through his 7’s and Z’s.

-andre also works out in his room at night but tries to be quiet about it.

-cal and andre would play the sims. maybe cal has a computer at his house and his younger siblings like to play that game, so when they get a chance they go on and make each other. they would make each other’s characters look weird, pissing each other off and laughing, ultimately not even finishing the character’s house by the time they get bored.

-cal once called andre because he got a virus on his family’s computer by using limewire to download music. andre called him stupid for days after that.
