Blog 4 “Sexual Confusion” Conclusion
Season 3 Episode 3 “Cellsea” , Nick and Jay. “ Nick is bewitched by his cool new phone... Jay finds a Netflix show made just for him”. (Netflix 2019) At the Birch family home, Nick’s older sister gave him her phone because she got a new one herself. Nick’s new phone “Cellsea” starts to talk to him, and compliments Nick to stay on the phone. Jay has been confused about his sexuality on whether he likes boys or girls, until he looked upon Netflix and recommended a bisexual magician tv series. Over the course of time Nick on the other hand was getting to attached to his new phone, which caused him to isolate himself from everyone and be alone with Cellsea. Throughout the day, Jay watches the whole series to know what was going to happen next. The magician tries to figures out who he was and what he wanted to follow by having intimate relationships with both genders, then suddenly figured out he was for sure bisexual and the series ended. Jay was pissed off that it had ended in one season, but realized that he was for sure bisexual and a magician. Nick however, was overly obsessed with his phone and never put it down as soon as he got it, but his mom stepped in and took his new phone away and destroyed it for good. Jay felt proud to be bisexual because he didn’t feel confused anymore and felt confident for who he was as a person.
Episode 3 “Cellsea”, shows how people can get addictive to technology nowadays and how people struggle finding themselves as a person like Jay. Ever since Jay started developing feelings about boys and girls, he was afraid that he if he was gay his family would never accept him as a Bilzarian. Many young people still struggle to express their sexuality because of family members or religion. People should have the right to show themselves for who they are, and let them decide what they like. There are many people who don’t accept people by there sexuality, which I believe they should give them chances. People’s sexuality has expanded so much over the years, even after former president Obama legalized gay marriage, that the gay community has expressed more and more sexualities. This show has shown many different personalities of each student and who they are in a humorous way that expresses family dynamics, politics, sexuality, sexism and many more.
In conclusion, “Big Mouth” is a tv mature show that only adults should watch because of the language they use to express the children’s feelings in the show. It’s a hilarious and offensive series that has many sexual jokes that anyone can laugh too and know about puberty, which can relate to others when they went through those stages. The series “Big Mouth” is still on Netflix with all three seasons to watch. I enjoyed watching the series because it has many laughs and sadness for the characters in the show that made it interesting to watch. I believe that “Big Mouth” sends messages about society in a humorous way that others can enjoy, watch and laugh about.

Blog 3 “Big Mouth” Sexuality
Season 3 Episode 8 “ Rankings “, introducing Nick, Andrew, Jay, Jessie, Devon & Devon, and a new student name Ali. This episode begins with Nick, Andrew, Jay, and Devon at a “ Child Bachelor Party”. Devon’s friends had thrown him a party before he gets “Child Married” to his girlfriend Devon, During the party all of the boys we’re talking about who was the hottest girl in school and made lists for the top 3 girls they found attractive. The next day at school, a new student Ali had transferred to the school to start fresh because she supposedly got kicked out of her last school from a rumor that she “fucked a Nun”. Ali introduced herself to the class that she was pansexual, and the boys found that hot from her. So, Nick, Andrew, and Jay started to change their top 3 girls list because Ali expressed her sexuality. Then Jessie asked Andrew if any of the boys put her on their lists, but nobody did. Since the whole list situation started Jay had finally felt comfortable to announce to everyone that he was bisexual because Ali announced her sexuality, but the boys found it weird and Jay felt left out. Jessie and Nick were in the lowest spots of the lists out of the 7th grade class, and found it “bullshit”. Devon was disappointed that she was ranked #13 of the list while her boyfriend was at #1. Finally the day came of the “Child Marriage”, Devon and Devon got married in a backyard. Ali had came up to Jay to congratulate him for telling everyone he was Bi because she knows how hard it is to tell people their sexuality, and told Jay that she was kicked out of her last school because she told a friend she liked her and it wasn’t easy. Afterwards, everyone didn’t care for the lists anymore because it didn’t matter in the end.
Episode 8 “Rankings “, shows how difficult it can be to express your sexuality to others. Ali’s sexuality is pansexual which she likes boys and girls and boys or girls turning into the opposite gender , that can make others think it’s attractive or not. According to (Guardian News & Media 2019) states, “The show might be filled with jokes about inappropriate erections and obsessive masturbation habits, but its tender look at bourgeoning sexuality is less about changing bodies than about how we learn to navigate a world where there is no clear roadmap for healthy sexuality, and where many of the messages we receive about sex are confusing at best and toxic at worst”. Ali expresses her sexuality to other students in school for who she is and that it’s acceptable. Not everyone in the world agrees or accepts people for who they choose their sexuality because of religion, homosexuality, beliefs and many more. This message to children, teens, and adults shows that they should know that they can express themselves with no limits. They get to choose for who they want to be, whether families or friends accept them or not, they should have the right to express themselves.

Big Mouth Blog Post 2 Gender Issues
In Season 3 Episode 2 titled “Girls Are Angry Too” of “Big Mouth”, is discussing the issues of genders. In the beginning of the episode Andrew, Nick, Jessie, and Missy, are all gathered in the gym by their sexist teacher about how boys can’t control their hormones around girls. As the teacher Mr. Lizer discusses to the students, mainly the girls that they can’t wear specific clothing when the boys hardly have a dress code. Jessie and Missy on the other hand, starts complaining how the girls aren’t being inappropriate around the boys, and that they can control themselves. Throughout the episode, the girls protest to the teacher about how they’re supposed to dress, while the boys think the girls look hot but it was a misunderstanding and Andrew called the girls “bitches” because the girls were giving mixed signals of how they we’re dressed. Then Nick tried to be on the girls side and trying to come on good terms because he didn’t say anything before about the dress code for the girls. Later on, Mr. Lizer catches the girls wearing inappropriate clothing and makes all the students wear uniforms. Missy decides to let out her anger for the first time and exposes to the boys and girls and Mr. Lizer how the boys can control themselves and are not animals, the girls didn’t help her when she was crying and only trying to help protest and hollow hypocrites, and how Lizer is sexist to women.   In this episode “ Girls Are Angry Too”, explains how women are mistreated in schools or in public. It shows that there are people that are sexist to women and men, just by the way they dress or stereotypes. Example, Mr. Lizer dislikes women in general especially the female students in the school  which shows how “ profoundly teen boys are influenced by adult institutions that subtly teach, justify, and offer outlets for sexist behavior “. (The Atlantic Monthly Group, 2019) In this episode Lizer shows a bad example to young children how he treats women and young girls. This episode shows how Men or Women like Mr. Lizer treat the opposite gender or the same wrongly. This message to children, teens, and adults explains how people can go to lengths without thinking what they are saying or doing with their actions.
