“Aren’t I supposed to say kind things when to comes to my daughter? Or is that not part of the expectations of being a father?” Niko replied in amusement. “You should just like your mother and I. It’s because of books that we met. You should ask her to tell you the store though. She’s much more gifted in storytelling than I would ever be.” He explained with a fond smile. “Don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll make some in due time. I never had friends.”
Father & Daughter
Gabriella blushed once again and smiled sincerely at her father. “Thanks, dad. That’s very kind of you to say.” She looked down for a brief moment and lightly shook her head. “Fun? Depends on how do you define having fun, because the only moments I enjoy are the hours I spend at the library.” She shrugged. “I haven’t made any friends yet…” She said with a low voice, laced by an apologising undertone.Â

“But you’re not leaving? Not completely, right?” He asked with a pained expression. Worried that she would walk about on him. Leave him without a second glance, and never give him the opportunity to give him another chance to be with her.

“Ah, that’s probably a good thing since many people would want to kill you for that information. His other children have caused nothing but trouble in this peaceful little town and they would assume that you were just like them. But, you aren’t, are you?” He asked with an amused expression. “Only curious, but like you said, it’s only a matter of time before the grand reunion happens.”
Niko & Henrik
“I don’t want the whole town knowing I am the mortal Original Mikaelson. I’ve seen the enemies they have made. I don’t want to be the weak link. If I get into any trouble I’m sure your father will step in and take whatever measures to ensure my safety. I can and will look after myself.” Henrik shook his head twice when he was asked about his own father. “No. Why do you ask?”

“Allison!” Niko shouted out as he lunged forward and grabbed her arm to prevent her from leaving his side. “Please, do not do this. I need you, why can’t you see that?”

“They’re simply not as intelligent as you are, my dear.” Niko replied with a fond smile, proud that his daughter wasn’t like the other kids in this town who were too stupid to think for themselves. “Other than being surrounded by morons, are you at least having fun? Perhaps making friends?”
Father & Daughter
“Hm?” Gabriella asked when she heard a mumble coming from her dad, but didn’t understand a word. Whatever her aunt had against him, she didn’t see it and enjoyed every minute with him, felt comfortable sitting with him at the table and chat. “School is alright. I’ve been there for just a week, but all the other students are looking at me in a weird way. In chemistry they didn’t even know what the difference is of alkanes, alkynes and alkenes are.”

It took Niko a back to see that his sister wasn’t here to yell at him, rather she was here to state that she was on his side. How odd? “Panicked? I believe that’s the wrong word to use. I was thinking perfectly clearly when I traded away my daughter’s childhood in return for Allison’s life. I would do it again if I needed to as well.” He replied. “I appreciate your thoughts, Lizzy. I may have a favor to ask of you.”
Lizzy || Niko
Liz sighed, shaking her head. “No, Nikolas. I’m not here to yell at you. You did it to save the mother of your daughters life. Or maybe… you weren’t really thinking at all- you..panicked.” She shrugged. “It happens… and not that you care but if everyone else is against you… you have at least one person that has your back… okay?”

“Yes, and a beautiful one at that. Which is probably why I am telling you this. I wish for you to keep an eye on her. Become her best friend, do whatever it takes to be close to her.” Niko suggested, wondering if Aiden would do what he asked. “A warlock decided to place a hex on Allison, but everything is settled now. No need to worry.”
Aiden || Niko
“She what?” Aidan’s eyes went slightly wide and the news. “She’s a teenager now?” He frowned thinking of his own sisters. “How did that happen? Is Allison alright?”

“Thank you.” Niko responded with a false smile, wishing for nothing more than the warlock to leave his presence. “I will sleep better knowing that you won’t be coming back into my life in the near future. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have plans for today, which might include messing things up even more for myself.” He mocked. turning around and waved behind him.
Life for a life || Niko & Hektor
“Fine Niko.” Hektor nodded his head giving Niko what he wanted for now. “I’ll give you the peaceful mind of knowing I won’t be going after you, Allison, or your daughter. You can’t do anything for me anymore now anyway.” He shrugged not seeing the loss in not being able to wind him or Allison up anymore. “Plus I don’t have to do anything, I’m sure you’ll mess things up yourself even more. I won’t even have to lift a finger.” He smiled in amusement to Niko’s threat. “Maybe some day we’ll see if you’d actually trigger just because of my nice looking face.”

“Give them time and I’m sure you’ll have the whole town believing in your identity.” Nikolas replied honestly, though he didn’t actually care about what he was telling his uncle.”And what about your father? Have you seen him yet?”
Niko & Henrik
“It wasn’t disappointing. I was glad you knew who I was if I’m honest. I am not sure I have convinced everyone. I have tried lots of different ways.” He shrugged. “My siblings thought I was some kind of mirage or hallucination. I’m not sure if they all believe me or if they just think they finally cracked.”

“Well I am happy to hear that you were able to get what you wanted. Now, because you have everything you need, I expect you to stay away from my family and prey on someone else’s. I will even give you a list of potential victims if that means you will leave us alone. You have caused enough problems and I wish to never see your face again. Because, when I see it, becoming a wolf suddenly seems appealing.”
Life for a life || Niko & Hektor
“I wasn’t going to ask.” Hektor quickly said, shaking his head. “I don’t care about what happens between you and your lover girl, honestly I don’t even care if I talk to your daughter in my lifetime, her lifetime, or not. All I cared about was taking something from her and I did and you made it easy.” He smiled, clearly not taking anything Niko was saying into consideration. “I’ll make you another deal, I won’t actively look to speak to her but if she talks to me…” He shrugged chuckling. “Then I can’t just send a girl away like that, it’s just rude.”

“Ah, yes the child that Allison and I brought into this lovely world.” Niko smirked and clicked his tongue. “She is now about the same age as you due to some unfortunate circumstances.”

Furrowing his brows Aiden didn’t bother answering the question pushing it away like it didn’t mean much. “Help me? Aren’t you busy with the new baby at home?”

“And did you enjoy my reaction, or did you find it to be disappointing?” Niko asked out of curiosity. “How were you able to persuade them of your identity?” He asked. “I assure you that I am not giving you special treatment, I simply enjoy to cook, and now I have a reason to.”
Niko & Henrik
“I believe you, I just wanted to see how you would react. I’ve been here long enough to see the family pictures. Everyone I meet has thought I was stupid enough to lie about my identity.” Henrik shook his head. “I do not want preferential treatment from you or anybody. I don’t want to be suddenly treated as if upsetting me would cause earthquakes. I Just want normal treatment.”

“I am happy to hear that I will not have to search the ocean for your body.” Niko mumbled, looking towards his daughter. He couldn’t have asked for a better child in every sense. She was beautiful and intelligent, as well as brave. Looking at her, he could see Allison which made him happy. However, he wondered if she would turn out like him. “How is school?”
Father & Daughter
“Everything is a huge figure, but the least I could do is to take in as much as possible, whilst the time I’ve got on earth. You won’t hear from a ship colliding with an iceberg during my life time, daddy.” A small, but ambitious smile grew on her lips.

“You are worth more to me than her!” Niko shouted out with wide eyes, not realizing the words that left his mouth. While it shouldn’t be that shocking to hear he had no feelings for his child, it as the first time that he admitted it out loud. Pausing, he took a deep breath and allowed his mind to scramble as he thought of something to say in order to ease her pain. “I did not mean that.” He added. “I meant that I care more for your life than her childhood.” He changed, hoping it would help Allison see how badly he needed her in his life. “I couldn’t risk losing you. My world is you, and I would be helpless if you left me.” He clarified.
