Calypso has a hard situation while thats unfortunate for her, it does not make her actions acceptable

Calypso knowingly keeps a married man on an island after making some flirtatious comments to him.

She knows she has control on who comes and leaves his island, she is actively choosing to keep odysseus

Odysseus makes it VERY clear he does not want to be there or be with calypso yet she still makes advances

odysseus: "im not your man" right after calypso makes her intentions very clear

Calypso knows that odysseus has no say here and takes advantage to this

I've been constantly hearing "oh its because shes just a black girl so people hate on her" THAT IS NOT THE REASON. the reason is that shes done some of the most fucked up things anybody can do, i can assure you that if she was white and a man, our opinions WOULD NOT CHANGE.

Someone posted ai art, I called them out for it, people started getting defensive and one person was being rude even. Dmed a mod to let them know they were being passive aggressive and I didnt want an argument to start(my dm was ignored), even asked the people to change the subject and someone replied in a rude tone. Eventually got a dm from carl bot on how I was dismissive and negative, persisted when they showed “proof” and I was no longer in the server.
