I did not intentionally have you  — This isn’t what it looks like!” For all her dramatics, the stand-in Lord felt guilty. Though he believed he was not at fault, he still was a gentleman! Wriggling and panicking to pull up his trousers, he finally managed to dress himself fully. “If you so much as think that this is an attempt at something else, you are mistaken.” 

       “OH, I KNOW. I was just pulling your leg,” she chuckles, wiping away the tears that were a part of her acting handiwork. A masterful actress she is, indeed! “My fault for coming over without letting you know in advance; I meant to text you, but I picked up some Japanese food along the way and didn’t want the packed ramen to get cold. You know the economy these days...” A sigh; she walks right in, places the plastic bag of bought food onto the table and helps clean up the dry cleaning. “Styrofoam doesn’t keep food warm as long as it used to.”

       She wasn’t due to arrive to his apartment for a long while, and given the hour, he thought he had time. Though once the door flew open to Touko’s grand entrance, all he could do was stand there with his pants in a heap around his ankles, fumbling madly to finish dressing. “YOUR EYES? If you had knocked beforehand, you fool, this could have been prevented!”

       HOW HORRIBLY INCONSIDERATE of him to even imply that this was her fault....! What a blow to a poor maiden’s heart! What sort of gentleman would sully a woman’s innocence and then blame it on her? The audacity! Mock sobs escape her lips, frame embracing his door; she is the very picture of melodramatic distress. “The sight that you’ve treated me to....how could you? Oh, how could you?!” she mock wails. “My heart belongs to one, and one only!”

oh my god hi i’m so sorry this is so belated

so apparently, the second semester of my lovely, wonderful, informative academic course is a shitstorm and a complete hellion to go through; i have no idea what the hell happened with schedules and assignments pouring in like they hate me......i’m so, so sorry for being inactive, but i promise, i haven’t forgotten threads and asks! they’re all drafted and i will most definitely get to them without dropping! thank you so much for your patience and understanding, and i hope to be a lot more free soon!!!

       One can also feel this young lady’s priorities skewing all over the place.

Ship Bias

1) Touko / Araya 

To elaborate, their dynamic is by far the strongest I’ve ever seen in the entire franchise, solely because they’re just so direct in their goals and their connection with each other. There’s this untold story between them that just adds to their mystery a whole lot, especially when Touko could have once become like Araya had she not reached the epiphany that chasing after the Root was completely and utterly useless, and the fact that such a severe, highly dreaded character like Araya respected and admired Touko at her best of days says a lot about the influence and impact that they’ve brought to the table and had each other swallow, in a sense...! Above all, I love this ship so much (it’s my top if you can’t tell I’m so sorry you can sense my thirst from a mile away) because it’s like....extremely complicated in a beautiful way. 

2) Touko / Cornelius Alba

A lot of people tend to underestimate Cornelius because of his horrible first impression in the KnK novels/movies, but he’s actually a hell of a lot better mage than Touko -- until petty jealousy got into the way, that is. Reading Nasu’s interview notes somehow implies that Cornelius’s jealousy is like....very much kind of Touko’s fault for not acknowledging him (but he’s so annoying I mean....I don’t blame her in the slightest haha), but had they started off at a better footing, there could very well be a great mutual respect with each other? He admired her even more than Araya did in a more obsessive and manic sense, so it was kind of tragic....

3) Touko / Millieune Carillon

ah yes, the gold-digger ship

I love this ship more than I love my most expensive owned item. There was a time when I was like ‘Touko’s never going to be a mistress!’ but she did. She actually did. She swooped right in with her fur shawls and her long hair and the best she’s ever looked in her entire life, and she outright slept with the Head of Sealing Designations. It’s amazing. I bet he’s besotted. Even more scorned when she left him. She left such an impact and *chef kiss*....!

4) Touko / Daisuke Akimi

I really was rooting for this ship in the novels, especially when Detective Akimi really was trying his best to land a date with her; he did, but she found him dull :’c Possibly, it’s because she’s trying to not develop attachments, and possibly it’s because they’re in two different worlds? After all, a mage and a human can’t really have the happiest of relationships; there’s bound to be some kind of tragedy, and Daisuke’s just so nice....ow my heart....!

5) Touko / happiness and a proper relationship

please touko stop finding meaning in complicated relationships....stop going after men who just want to um....murder you and the ones you love.....

The guide is neatly wrapped and placed into the girl’s hands, and with a bright, chipper smile, she offers a lovely hint about where Naegi Makoto’s elusive porn stash could be; everything’s within the book, especially how he’s going to be like in H-scenes!
