I hope that Kai and Skylor aren't a couple in Dragons rising. I just, I think they are better of as friends.

I don't like the way they are written as a couple as they feel forced in my opinion not to mention Kai barely spoke with her for a long time around seasons 11-15. I hope when we see them again, they have broken up.

The only reason people don't take Llorumi more seriously as an abuser x victim ship and let it slide is because the perpetrator is a woman. Like I've seen people just straight up deny that Harumi is an abuser and that's actually disgusting.

It's the same with waterjade the reason people let that gross ass ship slide but not greenflame is because it's wlw and people don't take perpetrators seriously when they're women. That and some of the shippers infantalize Nya and even age her down to be closer to Harumis age as if that wouldn't make Jaya weird as fuck.

the reason people don't like Jay having a samurai hairstyle is lowkey because they think he's "the whitest ninja"

it's almost as if he's from a world called "Ninjago", and is East Asian like every other Ninjagan and not the white guy of the group

The fact that we are 3 seasons in and Zane and Cole have still gotten no good development or focus is criminal especially since it was set up like s3 would be Zane focused but low and behold it wasn't

Jay is getting..something but I just know this won't go anywhere. They'll wrap this arc up at the end of season 3 I'm very sure and the next season he'll be just..there

U can tell the writers favorites of the og ninja were Lloyd, Kai and Nya. They get tons of focus or at the very least they're given shit do to so they can get focus

Zane and Cole have been with the group for a WHILE now and are given nothing so they barely show up

Jay at least has an excuse but we'll see how horribly they handle him in pt2 and onward cuz he'll likely get the exactly same treatment as Zane and Cole lol

Its so hard for me to get hyped over Jay's Arc cuz i just know that the moment his arc concludes he'll be just another background character that does nothing for most of the season like Zane and Cole

Truly the only og ninja that matter anymore are the RGB siblings

They truly said fuck those who like Zane, Cole, and Jay yall ain't getting shit especially u Zane and Cole fans

Dragon Rising is really the RGB story with the new students and that's it

That's becoming more apparent now especially with s3pt1.

Remember when we all thought that s3 would be Zane focused? Lollll

I swear not a single take I've sent on this blog has been received positively, I either get mocking replies (from popular blogs too) or complete indifference, and it's making me depressed af. And that's just when I say them anonymously, I can't imagine the hate I'd get if I said it all on my own blog. None of my takes have even been controversial or problematic, but for some reason everyone just hates my opinions on this site... But I know there are people who agree with me on youtube and instagram, but those platforms aren't as social as this one and I refuse to make a twitter or reddit account.... I feel so alone.

Biggest worry about Monstrosity getting so much attention from folks not In the fandom is that when folks find out it's just three shorts and NOT a whole new seasons worth of content the hype will die down significantly

Cuz so many folks are thinking it's like a whole new long series focused on Kai but it's really just three lil shorts focused on his time looking for the others (three fire looking shorts but still shorts nonetheless)

Like its not this whole big long thing that folks are highly expecting it to be and i worry it's gonna hurt Legends as a whole because of it
