one of my top ten perry/doof moments is definitely when perry fixes his hair in the mirror of the elevator before arriving at heinz's penthouse and gets into a cool collected pose but heinz is on the silliest mode that day and goes all SURPRISE PERRY THE PLATYPUS!! HEHEHEHE and sends him to the other floor and doesn't stop manically laughing until perry pranks him too by sending him to every floor like is not only top tier comedy but also so cute because most times perry allows himself to be that goofy and childish are when he's with heinz and they're just so unapologetically themselves with each other u get why they can't function without the other

Im convinced perry and doof have just the worst text log known to man. Doof thinks to himself "oh, I should text Perry the Platypus!" Then puts text to speech on and rambles through whatever he's doing for the next several minutes, often until he hits character limit so the text just cuts off randomly at the end. Sometimes norm interrupts, making his texts borderline incomprehensible. Meanwhile perry, several hours later after having found a spare moment to read the novel he's been sent, responds in two sentences max, abbreviated into text speech as much as possible, often with emojis/emoticons (sometimes JUST with an emoji/emoticon). So then doof has to track down vanessa wherever she is in the house or forward it to her so she can translate whatever THAT means to regular english. Vanessa obviously finds all of this extremely embarrassing (also, teenage fluency in texting aside, even she doesn't know what the hell perry is saying sometimes)
