We are all created by the universe. So how can‘t you see our bodies as art?

Since I‘m more comfy in my own skin and always challenging myself to get better by wearing anything I like in public (no matter if you can see nipples or any other bodyparts), I am facing a phenomena with many of my female friends:

When we are going to a party an planning what to wear, I hear comments like „But don‘t go so ‚nudey‘ as you normally do with your outfit“

Or when I‘m telling what I have planned to wear: „We will pretend, that we don‘t know you“

Actually I am never planning outfits to impress anyone, especially not men.

I am wearing things because I like myself in them. And when I like my look I am more selfconfident.

I am not wearing nudey outfits, to have men talking to me.

Actually I really like to get to know new people that inspire me. I am always open to have fun with strangers on a party. (I think the best parties are happening, when everyone is open to talk to everyone and not always thinking, that it is bitchy to do so.)

But I don’t need these Outfits to have this happening. I don’t want anyone‘s attention because of my outfit on purpose. I think you always get attention, when you‘re smiling, laughing, looking happy.

And actually I won’t steal anything from my friends.

So what is my friends‘ fucking problem? I can‘t see their point. In my opinion the are three possible reasons:

They are jealous. Maybe of my body, maybe of the probable attention.

They think I look bitchy. (In this case I should cut them off, because in my idea of a perfect world we shouldn‘t use the word bitch. Nobody, no matter how they are dressed or how they act, should be called like a female dog!)

My outfit is making them uncomfortable. (Darling, we have to work on your confidence! But please tell me this immediately.I don’t want to compromise you. You are my friend! )

For me right now, I am afraid to talk to my friends, because I don’t have so many really tight and close friends and I don’t know if I can remain friends with them if this is how they feel. So I am procrastinating very much.

I think friends don‘t always have to like or even love what you do, how you dress or how you act. But for me friends should always supporting each other and be happy for eachother, when they do something that make themselves happy or is making them feel free. Friends shouldn‘t cut the freedom of eachother by telling, what to do or how to behave. They should take eachother with all facades of their personality and actions.

Please tell me, have you ever had this issue with your friends? Are you one of these people that have a problem with people being dressed revealingly around you? What are your thoughts?

So often I listen to people saying: „I would love to do that but society won‘t let me.“ or: „I would really like to do that but society isn‘t ready.“

But who is „the society“?

It’s you and me.

Don‘t blame society!

The only one you can blame at first is you!

Why don‘t you just do whatever you want?

If your friends start acting weird while doing it, check wether they have a point.

If they haven‘t, maybe you should be wondering wether these are the right people to have around. Maybe they‘re not the friends that support you?

But after all, you did what you wanted to do.

Did it feel good?

It’s also ok to realize, that it isn’t your thing, but the only way to find this out is doing it.

And you don’t need society for that.

Each of my tattoos have a meaning.

For some of them, I searched for it because the motif was so pretty.

The others started with a message and I had to find a symbol, that could stand for it.

Why?

I am aware, that one day I might no longer like the look of my tattoos anymore, but I hope I still will stand by their meanings.
