Principal Value | Inverse trigonometric functions | Class 12 | Nitin Vairal Sir Hi, students.. In this video we'll Discuss : Very important topic of Trigonometric function chapter that is Principal Value of Inverse Trigonometric Functions. In Some previous lecture We study How to find Principal solution of trigonometric functions. So firstly we discuss what is Principal Value of Inverse Trigonometric Functions. 1️⃣ Definition : the principal value of a inverse trigonometric function at a point x is the value of the inverse function at the point x , which lies in the range of principal branch. Now discuss, How to find Principal Value of Inverse trigonometric functions ? Now I have mention some following steps , let's learn it : - Consider Principal value of given inverse Equation or inverse function is x. - If given inverse Trigonometric function is Positive form then we Direct find valve of x. - If given inverse Trigonometric function is Negative form then we firstly consider for inverse function of positive term. And find its angles. - Next we choose correct allied angle Formula. - Solve some calculation and we get value of x . - Now we check This value of x which belongs to the range of given inverse Trigonometric function. - If it belong in to range of given inverse trigonometric function then this value is principal Value or principal Solution of inverse trigonometric function. - If it doesn't belong in range of Trigonometric function then it's not principal Solution of inverse trigonometric function. ⚠️ Remember That : Trigonometric Allied Angle Formulas , Values of trigonometric angles And Range of Inverse Trigonometric Functions. Now in this video we discuss Next Rule . that is Cosine Rule of Trigonometric function. Using this rule we find Solution of Triangle. So How to prove..? it's very easy .. in this Rule Only Remember It's figure. And we Prove whole proof by Using Figure. Basically this figure is a triangle on the XY plane. But how to construct this triangle. Use following steps : 1) Draw xy Plane. 2) Construct a triangle on a plane such that Base of triangle on X axis and one point is on Origin. 3) Give the name of vertices of triangle. A, B, C. which is also Angles of that triangle. 4) Next Opposite side Angle A, B, C is a ,b ,c respectively. Next, By Drawing this triangle. For proof We Choose any Statment of Cosine Rule. Cosine Rule Statment : 1) a²=b²+c²-2bc.cosA 2) b²=a²+c²-2ac.cosB 3) c²=a²+b²-2ab.cosC Here we choose 1st Statment. Consider its LHS and Simplify it by using distance formula.. after Simplification we get RHS of 1st Statment. Today In this Lecture we discuss new IMP Topic ,That is Solution of Triangle in Trigonometry. In Solutions of Triangle there are three Important Rules. And Using this rule we Simplify Solutions of Triangle. So firstly we discuss What is Solutions of Triangle. Solutions of triangle means , in a triangle there are three Sides and Three Angles Means total six part. So we find any part of that triangle by the help of Some Important Rules. Now Study This Rules. Totally Three Rules. which are Sine Rule, Cosine Rule, Projection Rule. In this video Lecture we discuss Sine Rule Proof. Which is very important for exam point of view. In sine Rule , we prove this rule by three cases. First is Acute angle A. In Second condition Consider Acute angle B and in last case we consider acute angle C. From this cases We find Hight of triangle remember that for each case we construct separate figure of triangle. also we find Area of triangle.
