Feeding a feisty kitten.
Calm down, little one, I wish you’d understand That all this is yours.
Why are you freezing in place? I’ve held onto it only for you. There are so many where that came from, Why do you refuse to chew?
You already had one piece in your mouth, Made a grab for the second one, And by the looks of it, You want to snatch the third and run. You’re so greedy!
No one’s going to chase you, Or take back what I’ve given you, Much less threaten you.
Even your growls have united to form a symphony! You still don’t believe me, You’re sinking me in pain.
Fine, here’s the third piece.
Your claws are sharp but far too small. You are struggling to hold it all, But still looking at the plate for some more. You are not a squirrel! Now you glare at me with thunderous eyes, You’re also not Thor!
The first piece has fallen down. You should’ve realized by now how dumb you look. What will you do? If you grab a fourth piece, the second one will fall too.
That’s it, I’ll teach you slowly if I have to. Good, now you’re chewing without hurry. Remember to call when thirsty. I’ll buy you milk if I have to.
