On the day (2025), class 4A of Economic Education, FKIP UHAMKA had an exciting story of studying with Mrs. Dr. Camelia Safitri, M.Pd, a cool lecturer who teaches the Creative Economy course. Before starting to study, as usual, the class atmosphere was already cool and fresh because it began with tadarus together, reading the letter Al Kahfi verses 1-10 so that the learning would be blessed and full of enthusiasm!
Then entered the session with a very typical jargon: Mrs. Camelia: "Creative economy course!" Students: "Easy and fun course!" So exciting, huh? Makes your enthusiasm immediately rise!
But not only that, the atmosphere was even more lively because lecturer Mrs. Camelia and student representatives had prepared food from the creative products of one of their friends, named Hani. Yup, Hani and her team served homemade food that was their own work. So cool! So while learning, we got the foundation to ‘fill up with gas’ first, hehe.
Entering the mid-term exam review session, each group showed the creative traces of their products. The first group to advance was the photography group. They appeared with a presentation of around 40% of the total results, but the way they delivered it was… really exciting! While presenting, we all enjoyed the dim sum that had been distributed earlier. The learning was serious, but relaxed and full of jokes. A really positive class vibe!
Moving on to the second group, the craft group. But before they performed, the snacks changed! This time it was sushi made from traditional ingredients made by the creative culinary team. This unique blend of traditional and modern successfully made everyone who tried it nod in satisfaction. The taste was… the best! The discussion was no less active. Many suggestions, questions, and new ideas emerged. Everyone supported each other and learned together, no one was shy or afraid of making mistakes. At the end of the class, Mrs. Camelia gave motivation that really hit the mark. He invited all students to continue to explore their creative potential, because creativity is the key to a bright future.
For those of you who are still confused about where to go to college, or want to study economics but not just theory—come on, join the Economic Education study program, FKIP UHAMKA! Here, you will not only be taught economic theory, but you will also be invited to practice directly, make products, and become a creative, innovative person, and of course ready to compete in the real world. Studying here? Fun, enjoyable, and full of meaning!
