『Super☆Blossom 』 is a wrap!
So what happened to Super☆Blossom at LIVE GALAXY? Let me tell you! \o/ The plan was to locate the so-called "gift box" at the venue on Saturday, and then on Sunday try to give it straight to an actual person and if no go, then just put it in the gift box. Couldn't even find the gift box (lol), so that gave us more reason to bug someone on Sunday. xD So, on Sunday morning, we staked out the Fan Club counter trying to determine which of the three staff members there looked most approachable. When we finally made our pick, we honestly expected one of the following to happen: a) she would show us to the gift box b) she would be like "nope sorry" But the moment we talked to her (really huge thanks to @mrmkichi for taking charge of the talking, I was super nervous and the likelihood of me producing intelligible Japanese was very low orz), she was instantly willing to take the DVDs from us. We wanted to make sure however, that she knew how awesome our present was though, so we asked if she would like to see it. She was like "Sure, but I don't understand English" and we were like oh no no, no English involved, don't worry you'll understand everything for sure. She watched nearly the whole thing (till he video needed to re-buffer during the final chorus) and she was super impressed! While watching it, she told us that they have fans from Asia approaching them often to give gifts and such, but never really fans from anywhere else. Thus, she was really happy and excited that our video had fans from all over the world participating in it. Afterwards, she took the DVDs and said she would get all of the staff to watch it together, since she was sure everyone would really love it, and then after she'd make sure it would get it to someone who could and would take it to Nana herself. So all in all, a great success I would say!! \o/ Not sure if we'll ever find out if Nana did see it herself, but hopefully we'll be able to spot some indication in that direction from her somewhere. Thank you again for everyone who participated (and thank you for putting up with my lengthy instructions!! You all did so great, it made me so happy), you guys rock!! Let's do something amazing again in the future! \o/ And last, but not least, I give you Super☆Blossom!!

(If this video doesn't work, or it eventually gets taken down by YouTube, you can still also find it from dailymotion here: [Super☆Blossom - International Fan Project]) Also, just as a fyi, the YouTube video is unlisted, so it won't appear in YouTube searches and to view it you need to access the link directly. This is just a precaution to keep away the wrath of King Records for using their song (so I'll probably keep it set up this way). This, however, doesn't mean the video can't be shared, so... Feel free to share the link and pass the video forward!! \o/ Otsukare everyone!! posted by rjokami

『Super☆Blossom 』is coming!!
Finally the day has come that the international fan project video is done! \o/ Time for some cheesy rambling to celebrate the occasion. I really can't even express with words how happy and grateful I am to everyone who participated in this project - seeing the love and joy in everything you sent me made it amazing to work on this. I never thought it would turn out as awesome as it did, so thank you!!

Overall, there are 12 countries that participated in this project (ranging from 1 person to large groups), which was quite a nice turn out for something like this I thought:
Argentina
Canada
Finland
France
Hong Kong
Japan
Malaysia
Netherlands
Russia
Singapore
Taiwan
Thailand
I did some (probably inaccurate) counting from the footage I received and from what I saw, there seems to have been around 60 people involved in total. That's pretty amazing if you ask me! I shouldn't have done that though, knowing the number was so big put a lot of pressure on me lol.
I kicked off this project feeling great uncertainty (almost even considered cancelling it right after I announced it, since I was doubting if people would actually be interested in something like this ^^;;), but I am glad that I ended up having no reason to worry and saw this through to the end.
Admittedly, there were some problems along the way (really appreciate the people who helped me out with them on such short notice), which resulted in me not having as much time to unify the colors or explore the best styles for the final edit as I would have liked. To be honest, I didn't really have prior experience in color correcting or color grading (I've always focused mainly in editing), but I learned a lot about it during this project. I know I could have done a better job, if I had finished the final edit earlier and had more time to learn and experiment, but I think the video still looks amazing the way it is!
Thank you all for making this journey with me.
I’ll be sending the link to the video to all participants shortly, and will probably also post it on my blog and here later (unless someone is against it). Hope you all like the video!
I'll also be bringing a physical copy of it to the gift box at LIVE GALAXY. posted by rjokami

To all the Mizuki Nana fans around the world, シャッス❢ As most of you may have already heard, Nana is holding her second live in Tokyo Dome this coming spring, on April 9&10. (for those who missed the announcement, happy belated Xmas!) 4 and a half years after Live Castle, Nana is finally back in the most legendary venue in Japan and in my humble opinion, it’s worth celebrating! I’ve known and follow Nana since Nanoha A’s and after discussing with another long time fan what we could do to congratulate her and show Nana our support for her successful return to Tokyo Dome, 2 ideas have emerged from our frantic(?) brainstorming : - one is a video project (which may require you to display your most deeply buried dancing skills (ΦωΦ)フフ) , run by rjokami - the other is a more traditional album project, run by yours truly, Nina. →click here for all the details for the video project← We intend on running both projects side by side, meaning you can take the picture for the album with the group you are dancing with, on the spot. Also meaning you can dance for the video in the outfit you arranged for the picture (c-c-combo!). Of course, if for various reasons you can only participate to one of the projects, that’s fine!
Nana Mizuki International fans album project aka Nana’s Chronicles
What the idea of this album? Nana celebrated the 15th anniversary of her career last December and I was thinking of using this album to pay tribute to her career as well as congratulating her for Tokyo Dome II. The idea is for those joining this project to take a picture based on a specific Nana song, character, anime scene she played in… anything that marked her career (preferably something important to you too, the more emotions involved in this project, the better~). Anything will do, as long as it is recognizable at first glance. I’ll then arrange all the submissions to create “Nana’s Chronicles”. Requirements You can cosplay, bring your favorite Fate figure to a nice location for a picture, reproduce a Nana CD or album jacket, reenact a specific scene from a MV, or one of the OP or ED performed by Nana etc. Using Photoshop, add text, modifying the background of your picture, all of that is A-ok. Possibilities are endless as long as what you decided to reenact or the character you picked are easily identifiable. Also, you can join a message for Nana. It can be very short “Congratulations for Tokyo Dome II”, up to a page long. I’ll put your message next to your picture, with your name or nickname and your country/city. Messages should be in English or Japanese only. Examples? You’re standing in the grass, looking down at the ground, the sea behind you *boom*! Hybrid Universe jacket! You only have a cowboy hat and a bubble gun at home? No problem, you have your Power Gate jacket! You like wearing tight blue suits, thin glasses, heels (and have a Porsche?!) : you’d do a perfect Misaki from DtB ♥ You have an orange dog (a cat works too imho) : if you can put a coat on it and have it stand next to books, it will make a perfect Rico from Dog Days! If you’re looking for inspiration, here you’ll find (pretty much) all the jackets of the singles and albums Nana released and here all the anime characters she voiced. I took my picture, now what? Send it to me, along with your message, what your picture is based on (mostly to make it easier for me to sort the submissions I’ll receive), your name or nickname, your country and location where the picture was taken, at : [email protected] I’ll collect all the pictures and arrange them in chronological order : from Nana’s earliest releases/characters to the most recent ones. This album should be a voyage through Nana’s career as presented by her international fans, a journey up to her successful return to Tokyo Dome! *\(°w°)/* Miscellaneous - Group pictures are totally fine. Easier for me to classify if everyone pick a common theme but even if that’s not the case, I’ll manage something!
- Should I pose in front of a landmark? Not necessarily. If you’ve one nearby, something typical of your country or town then sure by all means try to use it. But it’s not mandatory either.
- Can I be holding a signboard? Sure! Let the craftsman in you have a blast /o/
- Can I trust you to conduct this project ( =x=)? The last projects I run were completed without trouble. I also took part to the previous Nana international fans project back in 2011. That’s as much guarantee as I can give you. - Spread the word, don’t hesitate to translate this post in as many languages as you wish! Pictures of all countries are welcome of course! The more the merrier♪ For information, here is the map of the participants to Live Castle project back in 2011 :

Nana Mizuki International Fans video project aka Super☆Blossom
rjokami will be running the video project and putting everyone’s lovely performances together. o/ So what is this video project you ask? Since these are special times for Nana (15 year anniversary from her debut and conquering Tokyo Dome again), we could do something a bit more special as celebration. A tribute of sorts. Remember Nana’s PV for Angel Blossom? Well, we won’t be doing exactly that, but we’ll do something a bit similar. Ever seen people’s Happy videos, like for example this one?
Or videos where people connect different places by creating the illusion of passing an object to each other, like in this one?
What we’d be doing, is essentially a combination of those two to the song, Angel Blossom. We’ll do it in the spirit of a Happy video, while passing on a Nana single/album “from one country to another”.
Requirements
All you need is a device to capture video (no vertical video please), one Nana single/album and a means to listen to Angel Blossom so you can lip sync your part. Once you have decided to take part in this glorious project, then follow these steps:
1. Let me know you want to take part, what country* you are from and if you will do it in a group** in the comments / by email to [email protected]
2. Wait till I reply to you with the line/part of the song that’ll be allocated to you/your country and on which side of the screen you should pass on the single/album.
* IF there are many people individually participating from the same country, I cannot guarantee there’ll be much space if any for you to shine in the video (depends on how many countries are participating). In such a case, you can increase your chance of being in and having more time by doing it in a group**.
** IF you are from a country with many participating fans, it is better if you can get together and do this as a group. Then I will allocate a part from the chorus to you and you can make Nana proud by producing a part of this beautiful dance. If you don’t feel you want to do that dance, you can do any kind of thing with your group and you’ll get a prime spot in the rhythmic part of the chorus (e.g. you can plan a timed jump together with your group).
I took my video/We took our video, now what?
Send it to me/send me a link to your video in google drive, dropbox, etc. It would be great if your video was in 1920x1080 and an .mp4. If not, I can still do my thing with it (but if your vid is in something else than 1920x1080, I’ll need to do some tricks to compensate and it might not look as good as it could anymore).
I’ll edit everyone’s part together, slap Angel Blossom on it and somehow share the final product with everyone. TBA on how it’ll be shared.
Miscellaneous
- Should I do my video in front of a landmark? Sure! But you don’t have to. Taking the video outside in daylight (or inside somewhere well lit that has something typical for your country) is greatly preferred to taking it at e.g. home.
- Can I use my penlights? Sure! Just be sure that one person at least has a hand available to pass on the single/album from on screen to off screen.
- I have a great suggestion that could make this even better! Awesome, shoot me an email at [email protected] and we can talk about it.
- Why can’t we/I decide what part of the song we’ll/I’ll do? I need to match up the passing of the album/single from people from one country to the other, so that it’ll be happening from the correct side of the screen and not break continuity. Also, since we are limited to the length of the song, I’ll have to make sure everyone gets a fair part. Feel free to send me a line request though and I’ll see what I can do.
- Can we combine this and the album project? If you want to do your part of the video in the Nana themed cosplay/clothing, by all means do!!!
- Can I trust you to pull this off? Maybe? :p I do edits and other cinematic stuff as a living and back in the day when I was younger I used to make AMVs that people have really liked and did well in competitions. So maybe that all counts for something~ Took part in the aforementioned 2011 fan project too.
- Can we get credit for this? If you tell me your name/nickname with your submit, I will add credits at the end of the video and include everyone.
