Naruto isn’t the only one who’s surprised. Learning the fire style isn’t easy and it takes time to perfected it. Although, it wasn’t a ball - more of a flamethrower-like bomb which was impossible.

Naruto let out a laugh. It was.. nice to have a calming conversation with Sasuke. About their children, no less. The amount of time that had passed really started hitting him. Himawari was going to starting her classes soon...

Iruka chuckled, taking a sip of his water with a content sigh. When he snuck a peek again, Naruto was happily slurping too many noodles at once, with ramen broth on his cheeks, around his mouth, dripping off his chin. “Hey,” he said, reaching over, tissue in hand. “Stay still for a second. Messy as usual, huh?” He rubbed Naruto’s face clean and tousled his hair. “Slow down. Food’s not going anywhere. Neither am I.”

                        ❝ Eheheheh... ❞

He blinked once as Iruka placed a napkin on his cheek. Naruto had always been somewhat of a sloppy eater... and this time was no different. He just gets so excited when he’s around Iruka.. he really did look up to him

          How do you tell your idiot best friend you’ve           been in love with him since you were kids.

♔  Just returning from his mission,       the raven took his time with his       settling back into the village. His       family probably didn’t like that he       never saw them first thing, but then       again he wanted time to relax.       He headed towards the hokage’s       office to his surprise didn’t run into      any of the kids. Sasuke always      thought it was interesting to see      Naruto at the hokage’s office, but      he knew the day would come      eventually.

    Knocking on the door before entering     Sasuke tossed a scroll over to Naruto.     He grinned as he approached his desk.

        “You look exhausted.” 

Paperwork.. paperwork.. paperwork... with the summer coming, that meant that the amount of requests coming would double. At least his chuunins and jounins would be kept and well paid.

But he really wanted a break... he didn’t want to continue for the day.. he’s been in the office since 6 in the morning. Guess this is what Tsunade was warning him: paperwork. Paperwork. Paperwork. No wonder she stopped drinking and gambling... It wasn’t because she wanted to; she had no choice.

He saw Sasuke come in-- his whole demenor changed. It was good to see an old friend again.

                      ❝ Ah- hello, Sasuke. Exhausted? Heheh, hardly. ❞

When they reach her home Sakura unlocks the door and

fumbles to find the light switch. Everything is neat & surprisingly

minimalistic. She’d just moved in recently, so aside from some

family photos & pictures of Team 7, there wasn’t much in terms of

decor.

“If you’re hungry there are leftovers in the fridge—-and the guest

room is next to mine—-ah, am I forgetting anything?”

                        ❝ Anything you make would be delicious,                            Sakura-chan! ❞

He grinned a bit as he approached her place. He don’t remember coming over to Sakura’s place-- he knew he would get the lights punched outta him if he had ever asked...

He would have gone home, but food made by Sakura was something he just couldn’t pass up! Plus, he got to see Sakura’s new place! IT was so... much cleaner than his. He actually thought about cleaning it when he got back...

                        ❝ I’m fine, Sakura-chan. Do you need anything?                            You should get some sleep. ❞

Was this a trap? Naruto couldn’t help but keep on his toes... This behavior.. was a bit unseen, but Naruto couldn’t help but feel a bit happy about this.. it wasn’t all the time that  he got to spend with Sasuke. He was kinda looking forward to it.

He ate his meal happily. He might have to pay, but Naruto had some extra savings for a bowl like this. Besides, he liked spend- ing time with Iruka. He still may get scolded at times, but he was always the nicest to him.

Now a homecook  meal is one way to repay! Ahh he couldn’t wait to taste her cooking!

   As expected. Even Sasuke asked the young boy about letting his father know about today’s training. Only brushed it off like an weak itch. It’s none of business and this should be handle between the two only. But, it needs to be solved soon than later.

Dismiss the thought-- talk about it with Boruto... This didn’t include Sasuke... but he was thankful Sasuke was there looking after him.

He laughed lightly. Wow.. learning fire jutsus... can’t say no to a pro- digy. He was just surprised he could learn them-- it was hard when you were outside of the Uchiha family.

Her smile & words were both sincere as she stepped alongside of the other.

He sighed a bit as he took her arm, wrapping it around his.  Honestly, Sakura... He smiled lightly at the comment. He blushed lightly-- it was- nt everyday he got complimented from the prettiest girl in Konoha.
