Yet again another person arrived. So many. Maka really wanted to get to her book.  "A lot of people are coming in the City lately. It’s odd. Anyways, hello."

Pein looks at the girl, then he sighs and rolls his eyes. "I'm not lonely in the slightest." How the hell could he be lonely with the group of rag tag people living with him? "You're right--I am cold, sometimes both in body temperature and in personality. Spiteful?" Pein cocked his head to the side, a smirk on his lips. "I'd prefer the term 'goal-oriented'."

Sorry for unfollowing, but I'm just tired of being ignored

//Oh, well, I'm sorry if I've ever ignored you. I get distracted and I'm rarely on this blog as of late--so if you ever leave a response and I don't get to it it's not like I'm ignoring you on purpose. That, and, I feel like I can't really solve the problem if you're on anon. If I knew your URL to help fix the problem, so I can apologize appropriately.

I could come up with a million and one excuses but I'll just still to a simple apology: I'm sorry for ignoring you--it was not intentional in the least.

Pein flushed a terribly red. Oh Lord, his cheeks burned. It was such a strange feeling one that, if Pein was his normal self, he'd probably stab himself and Naruto multiple times with a chakra rod to get the feelign to go away. "Uh...no reason. Forget I even brought it up," Pein mumbled, his words fast and sloppy, as he buried his face into the crook of Naruto's neck. 

  “I suppose you’re right on that one." Still the same old Pein. Right. I’ll keep reminding myself of that. No need to get so flustered. "It’s not too much. I guess the fact that I am not used to such contact from you is what got me—someone else in line? What would that matter to you?" He couldn’t help himself?

She wanted to answer but his words had stunned her into silence. This time, it wasn't that she was insignificant to him that upset her - well, that hurt a little as well, but she was used to that from others. "Its not... Its not infatuation." She grumbles, glaring at the ground, brow scrunching together. She had told him before it was her goal to make him her friend, no matter what. Although it didn't seem likely... It wouldn't stop her from trying.

"Right," Pein rolled his eyes. She could be hurt for all he cared. He said the truth so there was no guilt in his mind. "Then do inform me why you're so hell bent on being my... 'friend'." His lips curled in distaste from the word.
