Not as Elijah at the moment, just because this is a group account for him. I do have an multi-muse indie account where Elijah one of my muses @dangerousdarliing and he is available for plots, I just don't do that on this account.

"Mikaelson," he said, offering up his last name, noting the less than subtle way that she had asked for it. It wouldn't help her on placing him, but that was not something he needed to worry about. But it would be wrong to ignore the gentleman thing to do and so he reached for her hand, moving to place a kiss against her knuckles. "Pleasure to met you, Ms Forbes."

caroline perked up immediately when he asked her about events. " absolutely ! if you ever need anything planned out , i'm your girl. " she chirped back excited. her lips splitting into a bright smile as he explained his situation. it still seem odd to her that she had never seen him around. which led her to introduce herself , hoping he'd give ups his last name and that she'd recognize it. " well...--- i'm caroline forbes. welcome back, mr. --- ? " she extended her hand towards him.

"Yes, in a way," Elijah said, looking up at the other. Though he had a feeling it wasn't an animal killing.

"I'm not sure. I'm new to the town." He heard about rumors in Mystic Falls of deaths and disappearances. But he wasn't sure if they were accurate or not. It was actually his first time leaving the apartment he rented before coming to this town. "I suppose since you're asking such a question that you are new too. Is that correct?"

"Yes, something like that," he said lightly. Though a doppelganger was likely to be a problem... it wouldn't be long before his brother came looking for her if he leant about her. "Pleasure," he said, moving to take the seat across from her. "Do you live here?"

❝ oh, you're fine. they say everyone has a twin, right? ❞  elena smiled politely, shifting on the bench and gesturing for the man to join her in the space beside her. ❝ nice to meet you, elijah. my name is elena. ❞

Both had been true once upon a time but at this time he just shook his head. "No, just a concerned community member. Like to do my bit for the town."

❝ sherriff forbes and the mayor can be found at the town hall having some sort of meeting . ❞ natasha replied as eyes practically checked him out . ❝ Are you some sort of detective or vet ? ❞

He chuckled, clearly her mother knew more than she did when it came to the things that went bump in the night. Or maybe she was just... dramatic. "Parents do all kinds of things out of love," he said. How true a statement that was for his family. He nodded when she mentioned events. "You plan events?" He asked curiously. "We didn't grow up here," he said lightly, pretending to correct himself. It was an easy enough excuse. "Our parents had us moving around alot." Again, not a lie, though a selected truth, but for the human in front of him, he was sure that would do. "Though we always liked to think of this place as our first home."

" i will say , she is being a tad dramatic. can you believe she is trying to implement a curfew ? " caroline said the last word with such disgust , as if it was the worst thing imaginable. " i would have so many events that i would have to reschedule if she does. " there was not a single event in town that caroline forbes did not have her fingers in. she was about to continue her rant when she realize something odd. " hold up ...--- how old are you and your siblings ? you do not look a day over thirty , and i have been here my whole life. i do not forget a face. "

"No," he said lightly. He was not turned away by such small things. "Though I might want to offer some support. If I was looking for the Sheriff or Mayor, what name would I be looking for?" He asked, knowing he could find out both easy enough but talking to locals was enjoyable.

❝ Not as often but often enough that we would prefer it not to. ❞ Natasha mused as she happen to overhear him . ❝ Hope that doesn't turn you away from the town . Despite this mystic falls isn't so bad . ❞

Elijah knew he should try the easy approach with this, talk her down. however he was in no mood to fail when the stakes were so high for the other. So instead he flashed towards the young girl, grabbing her with just enough strength and moved her back from the edge with easy, before removing his arms from her. "You only have one life, I do believe you can do something extraordinary with it, if you choice," he said before waiting for the reaction that was likely to come.

❝ you may suggest but no guarantee that it'll be accepted as an option . ❞ the breeze flowing through knotty hair , finding the peace of what could be her last moments .

"Right," Elijah said with a nod. A bear. It was as good a cover as anything else. "Well I expect they will find the creature soon enough." And claim that all was well again.

"no, it doesn't." she remarked as she looked at the other for a brief moment, coffee cup then pressed to her lips before she took a sip. "well, not that I can recall..maybe years ago before I was born.. but, you know, bears do move dependant on the seasons and food sources."

Elijah looked at the young human in front of him and smiled when she said there was something out there. As a truer statement had never been said. "I am sure," he said, though given he had no idea who her mother was, he was unsure how true that statement really was. He chuckled slightly when she looked up at him with curious eyes. "A family holiday," he said, dancing near to the truth. "My siblings and I have been apart for some time, and I wanted us to all come together in a familiar place," he said. "And my siblings were born here. And yourself, you are clearly a local?"

" lately , yes. according to my mother , i need to be careful. she is sure there is something out there. i wouldn't worry your pretty head over it, though. i'm sure my mother will catch this animal soon. " caroline replied back in a cheerful tone. the latest new were devastating , but she wasn't letting it get to her. " i definitely do not recognize you. what brings you to town ? "

Elijah moved towards his sister. In the time they had been apart, alot had changed not just for the world, but for Elijah. It was not like the previous times. He had warned his brother he would not stand for it and the other had chosen to lie and send him fake letters from Rebekah for years so that he would not learn the truth. Only to decades later claim he had throw her into the waters to be lost forever. The idea of that and the rage it had left in his mouth, still sat deeply even though Rebekah was in front of him now. He pulled her into a soft hug when she asked why. "Our brother can not handle being alone," he said, though it was no excuse anymore. He smiled softly when she asked about the phones. "Trust me, I know you will grow to love them." He had thought that as they were being created. Elijah nodded at her request. "I still have to find Finn. Once we are all together again, I will put then somewhere that Niklaus can not get to them."

often it felt painful to blame elijah for their brother's behavior, yet he had been conniving through millennia, at the cost of her sanity and life, as a dagger remained on her chest for nine decades. " why does he do this to us? to me... all i want is to be free, elijah " possess a life of her own, perhaps one day a family and friends, people that won't fear rebekah and their family. " so much has changed, and these stupid phones, how can people use them? " for once a gentle laugh escaped red lips, she was terrible with technology, had always been. " promise me you won't let him get the daggers. toss it in the ocean if you have to, this cannot happen again... " rebekah hid it well, yet exhaustion tainted her features, doomed by a destructive cycle.

Elijah looked up at the face across from him, raising an eye brow. For someone to make such a comment, they had to have a history and yet when he looked at her. For a moment, he didn't recall her before vague memories of the past came back to him. "My siblings do not go around covering up their kills to make them look like animal attacks," he corrected. He knew Kol or Rebekah would have no time for making a kill look like animals when they could just leave them dead and do nothing. "Though I question how you came to make that judgement against our family?"

soft fingers lingered on a cup of whiskey, swirling the liquid in an aimless motion as she neared him, elijah mikaelson. henrik's self-proclaimed noble brother, one they avoided for over millennia. " when your family is around? yes, i'd say it's quite common " aysel quipped.

"I am not certain we should be here," he admitted aloud. He hadn't wanted to commit to them moving here, but even just hanging out for a few weeks was appearing to be more dangerous for Elçin than he wanted. He looked back to the paper. "Lets not worry about it," he said, though he was thinking a trip down to the station after wouldn't go amiss. "How are you liking it?"

"does what happen often?" the question is out only seconds before her gaze lands on the newspaper in his hands. brows furrowing, elçin took a seat across from her father. "it's not animals, is it?" her tone made it clear she already knew the answer. "do we have to move again?"

the brunette sat on the bench, one leg crossed over the other as a cup of coffee was in one hand and a news paper was in the other. this was her last relaxation day before she started back at whitmore as a biology professor, and it had been good until she read the paper. ❝ can you believe this? a mountain lion hasn't come this close into town in.. god I don't even know how long. hopefully they caught it, you know? ❞ she spoke to the other, chocolate brown hues finally casting up from the paper to the other.

Elijah looked at the paper in front of him, letting out a small breathe. After all, he was likely looking at his sibling's last fun. He turned the paper over in his fingers as he spoke. "Does this happen often?" Maybe he would get lucky and the town had another vampire problem, apart from his family.

"May I suggest a different course of action," Elijah said, allowing his presence to be known to the young girl.
