I've absolutely loved reading since I was a tiny little child but this past year I've had NO motivation to read at ALL. I literally couldn't even force myself to read (and I tried). It was scary and sad. 5 days ago i just felt this need to read a book so I did and I got through it and I've been reading books back to back ever since. It's only been 5 days and I'm really worried that my motivation for reading is going to leave me again.

I miss the version of you I made in my head. I was so lonely I would fantasize about someone who didn't even know my name. You knew my online persona but not me. And honestly you were trash. If we had met in real life I wouldn't have even given you a second thought. I was just bored and lonely.

I was in my backyard with my dogs, who are extremely noise sensitive because their previous owner was extremely abusive and probably fired guns or something loud at them, when fireworks went off. At 7. Seriously???? Its not even dark out. We've had such a hard week when it comes to fireworks. Yesterday we had to get her calming pills (for dogs) and they just seemed to make her dizzy. It's hard to tell. I just HATE fireworks so much. I always have since I was little. Remind me how fireworks are a good thing. They bother dogs, people on the spectrum, people with PTSD, they're horrible for the environment, and they're just annoying. I completely understand that people want to have fun but go to a firework show or something. It shouldn't be a thing to be able to fire off explosives for over a week every year in residential neighborhoods. I know I sound like a Karen but I just hate fireworks soooooo much. Also they are a fire hazard and can really hurt people.

You know what I've been thinking about? There are women who think it's the woman fault for getting catcalled or r*ped because of what they were wearing right? Well I assume that those women dress modestly and I'm just wondering what would happen if they were walking (modestly dressed) and they got catcalled. Would they just think something like oh that's my fault and cover up more? Because I genuinely think that's really sad. And to any and all women (and men) reading this, it is NOT your fault. You have the right to wear whatever you want and if you choose to wear less that does NOT give men the right to touch you or even comment on your body.
