Playing Tetris after a traumatic event can help eliminate bad memories. A study of car wreck survivors found that those who played Tetris in the ER had 62% fewer bad memories than those who just wrote down what happened. Their memories also faded more quickly, so it’s believed that Tetris both distracts you from taking pity on yourself, and interferes with the way long-term memories are stored. Source Source 2

Living with another person is HARD
No wonder married people end up in divorced at a higher rate if they don't live together before marriage
Not only do you have to deal with the little things that annoy you but you have to deal with the way that they live. Some squeeze the toothpaste in the middle or they even leave hair on the soap! Gaaah!!!
&if you're a light sleeper, you gotta worry about loud ass snoring! Fuuuh

“That’s the problem. We let people say stuff, and they say it so much that it becomes okay to them and normal for us. What’s the point of having a voice if you’re gonna be silent in those moments you shouldn’t be?”

journey to THIRTY!
I CAN’T BELIEVE THAT IN A COUPLE OF MONTHS I’M NO LONGER IN MY 20′s
let’s just say that i’m trying to slow down time but it’s not listening to me. I remember when I was little I said that I would be this and that by the time I’m 30. I would have accomplished this already and I would be living like that but right now, I’m currently living with my parents (although no longer rent free), still doing that nursing thing but no longer on the floor and i’m still dating the same guy (FOR 15 DAMN YEARS). did i see my life differently? of course I did. I should’ve moved out years ago, I should have been an RN by now and I should be married with kids already but I’m not.
Part of me imagines all the what might have beens and what should have beens but then again, that is not my reality. but i can say this, living for 30 years, I have learned a couple of things.
- I learned that no one will or can ever stand in your way but YOURSELF. you can always blame this or that but let’s get real, unless someone has a gun to your head, your worst enemy is yourself.
- time does not wait for anyone.  you look at your life day by day and everything seems the same but if you look back years ago, you’re not the same person. time will make you older but it will not wait for you to catch up to it. it’s either you get up, grab time by the balls and start singing “we’re all in this together” cus let’s get real, if you’re not living with time, time will leave you.
- 30s is NOT the new 20s. that saying just comes from those people who have so many regrets in their lives. you’re not as naive, you’re not as young, your skin does not snap back in place as it did when you were 10 years younger and HANGOVERS are horrible! so if someone TRIES to make you feel better by saying that 30s is the new 20s, they’re lyin sack of s#iT!
but you know what, i’m not sad i’m turning 30. it’s scary to think that i’m 35 years away from retirement (which by the way is just around the corner) but I’m glad I’m turning 30. another page turned in my book. so cheers to my 30 year olds!
LET’S KICK 30′s ASS AND TELL IT WHO’S BOSS!
