Bardonecchia 2017
Perdere un mese di vacanza per l’alternanza scuola-lavoro, non poter dormire la mattina. Lontana da casa, in montagna al freddo e per giunta con altre 3 compagne di classe che non avrei definito “amiche” e... cosa manca?
Manca che dalla ricetta per un minestrone sbollito è uscita una torta al cioccolato con tanto di ciliegina!
Il lavoro è stato tutt’altro che pesante, grazie ai colleghi fantastici. Laura e Francesco ci hanno guidate dal primo giorno tra le risate e le chiacchierate nei momenti liberi e la serietà dei momenti più impegnativi.
Nonostante stare alla reception era sempre un piacere, il momento più bello della giornata era scendere in cucina a chiedere la lista del menù. Cucina significava Roberto, lo chef per il quale abbiamo perso tutte la testa, e stagisti, altri ragazzi della nostra età con cui avevamo fatto amicizia.
Giulia, Beatrice e Claudia, contro ogni aspettativa, si sono rivelate un’ottima compagnia. Inevitabilmente stando la maggior parte del tempo insieme ci siamo conosciute meglio e abbiamo condiviso molto di più. Io e Giulia, compagna di stanza e complice, ne abbiamo combinate di ogni. Il legame che si è creato come quello tra sorelle, la stanza 333 era la NOSTRA casa. Quando poi ci univamo alle altre due, sembravamo un vecchio gruppo di amiche. Ci siamo sentite tutte così unite dando conforto a Giulia, mollata dal ragazzo nel bel mezzo della nostra gita a Torino!
Noi quattro insieme ai 6 stagisti della cucina eravamo un bel gruppone, tant’è vero che nel villaggio si era sparsa la voce dello “stagisimo”. Abbiamo passato con loro ogni singola sera da quando ci siamo conosciuti e, beh, tra bello e brutto ne abbiamo passate veramente tante.
Se non eravamo con loro, eravamo con gli altri colleghi del villaggio che avevamo conosciuto. Luciano, Jessica, Sofia, Andrea e potrei andare avanti.
Mi sono trovata così bene che non mi è neanche pesato il vedere le storie su Instagram dei miei amici al mare o al caldo. Il micro ambiente di Bardonecchia era l’unica cosa su cui ero concentrata.
Con l’atteggiamento positivo l’alternanza si è trasformata in un’esperienza che mi ha veramente cambiato la vita.

Excursion in Zermatt.
The 21st of August, me and my family left early in the morning and we went toward Zermatt, in Switzerland.
The car ride lasted more or less 4 hours, including the transport car-on-train from Kandersteg to Groppenstein.
Once we get to Taesch, we parked our car in one of the many parking lots and we had to reach Zermatt with a train-shuttle, because is a car-free area.
The country is at the feet of Mount Cervin (4478m).
We passed through the country in order to get to the cable car.
I noticed souveniers and high fashion shops accompanied by typical houses embellished with wonderful geraniums.
From the streets you could hear the hotels entreaties music, which created a peaceful atmosphere all around.
We arrived at Zermatts station, we took the cable car until Trockener Steg (2939m), from where we kept on going until Matterhorn Glacier paradise (3883m ) .
This is the European highest cable car stop.
At this high breathing was difficult, and the change in termal regime gave me a strong headache, but the mood up there was wonderful so I forgot the pain.
First of all, we went to the 360° panoramic terrace.
In front of us, Mount Cervin, the symbol of Switzerland and also one of the highest mountain of the Alps.
The show was breathtaking. You could admire 38 over-4000m peaks and 14 glaciers, plus the Italian, Swiss and French Alps.
Then we visited the ice palace.
We went 15 meters beneath the surface with the elevator and we found ourselves in an ice tunnel in which there were wonderful ice scolptures.
At the end of the round, we surfaced at the fresh air and we tried the snow tubing, which means whizz down the alpine snow drift with inflated tyres.
It was great and we had a lot of fun.
We enjoyed the last moments of this high-altitude trip looking at the incredible view.

Zermatt, Matterhorn
Am 21. August 2016, sind wir frueh morgens von Schlieren nach Täsch gefahren, die Autofahrt dauerte fast vier Stunden, inkl. Autoverlad Loetschberg, von Kandersteg nach Groppenstein. In Täsch angekommen, haben wir unser Auto in einem von vielen Parkhäusern parkiert und sind per Bahn-Shuttle ins autofreie Zermatt gefahren.
In Zermatt angekommen, mussten wir als erstes die Billete loesen. Da wir nur einen Tag zur Verfuegung hatten , haben wir uns entschieden dass wir nur auf das Klein Matterhorn gehen.
Zermatt (1620m) liegt am Fusse des Matterhorns (4478m) Als wir durch Zermatt spazierten, haben wir viele niedliche Souvenier Laeden gesehen, und die Haeuser waren alle mit prachtvollen Geranien geschmueckt. Aus den Hotel-Lounges hoerte man Musik im Hintergrund es war alles so ruhig und friedlich in dieser Autofreien zone, richtig erholsam. Zermatt hat auch einen Alten Dorfteil, mit ueber 30 Gebaeude die auf Stelzen und Maeuseplatten gebaut wurden.
Jetzt gehts los, an der Talstation Zermatt Bergbahn angekommen sind wir mit der Luftseilbahn bis zum Trockenen Steg 2939m gefahren danach sind wir umgestiegen und haben das Matterhorn glaceier paradise auf 3883m erreicht. Hier befindet sich die hoechstgelegene Luftseilbahn und Bergstation Europas.
Als erstes sind wir auf die Aussichtsplattform mit 360° Aussicht …. Vor uns das Matterhorn, das Wahrzeichen der Schweiz, mit 4478 Metern Höhe einer der höchsten Berge der Alpen atemberaubend die Sicht auf 38 Viertausender und 14 Gletscher der franzoesichen, italienischen un Schweizer Alpen.
Danach haben wir den Gletscherpalast besichtigt, mit dem Personenlift sind wir 15 Meter tief unter die Eisoberfläche des Gletschers und hier haben uns die vielen Eisskulpturen verzaubert, einen Audi, einen Thron und einen Drachen und viele andere Skulpturen, alles von Eiskünstlern gestaltet
Wieder unter dem blauen Himmel an der frischen Luft , haben wir uns hinaus zum Snow-Tubing begeben, im Sommer mit dem Schnee spielen und mit luftgefüllten runden Schläuchen den Schneehang hinunter sausen das ist auf dem Klein Matterhorn moeglich, ich und meine Geschwister haben es ausprobiert und wir waren beeindruckt.
Zuletzt haben wir uns die schoene Aussicht noch genossen, danach sind wir ins Restaurant und haben uns dann ein wenig aufgewaermt und einen Kaffee getrunken.
Bevor wir mit der Luftseilbahn wieder ins Tal sind, haben wie noch einen zwischenstop zum Schwarzsee (2552m) gemacht., dort haben wir noch einen Spaziergang um den Kleinen See gemacht und das Matterhorn nochmals richtig genossen und sind dann wieder nach Zermatt.
Escursione a Zermatt.
Il 21 agosto 2016 sono partita con la famiglia al mattino presto alla volta di Zermatt (Svizzera).
Iil viaggio in macchina è durato quasi quattro ore , incluso il trasporto veicolo sul treno da Kandersteg a Groppenstein . Una volta arrivati a Taesch, abbiamo parcheggiato la nostra auto in uno dei tanti parcheggi e siamo andati con il treno/navetta fino a Zermatt, dove i turisti possono procedere solamente a piedi.
Il paese (1620m) si trova ai piedi del Cervino (4478m). Per raggiungere la fermata della cabinovia abbiamo attraversato il paese. C’erano negozi di souvenir, e le case erano tutte ornate con bellissimi gerani. Dagli hotel si sentiva la musica di intrattenimento per i clienti, era tutto così tranquillo e rilassante!
Zermatt ha anche un borgo antico , con poco più di 30 abitazioni costruite su palafitte e piastre di pietra.
Arrivati alla stazione a valle di Zermatt , abbiamo preso la funivia fino al Trockener Steg (2939m) da li abbiamo proseguito con un'altra funivia fino al Matterhorn Glacier paradise (3883m ) Questa fermata è la stazione di funivia posizionata più alta in Europa.
Per prima cosa siamo andati sulla piattaforma panoramica con la vista a 360 °.
Davanti a noi il Cervino, il simbolo della Svizzera, con 4478 metri è una delle montagne più alte delle Alpi. Lo spettacolo è mozzafiato: si possono ammirare 38 cime di 4000 metri e 14 ghiacciai, le Alpi della Svizzera, dell’Italia e della Francia.
Successivamente abbiamo visitato il palazzo di ghiaccio.
Con l'ascensore siamo scesi a 15 metri sotto la superficie ghiacciata , trovandoci in una grotta spettacolare con tante sculture di ghiaccio incantevoli.
Risaliti all’aria fresca sotto il cielo azzurro, ci siamo dedicati allo snow tubing: sfrecciare con dei pneumatici gonfiati lungo un pendio di neve.
Giocare con la neve d’estate è un’esperienza particolare e diversa dal solito, ma ci siamo divertiti tantissimo!
Ci siamo goduti gli ultimi momenti di questa stupenda gita in alta quota apprezzando la vista sul Matterhorn/Cervino.
Prima di scendere a valle abbiamo fatto una piccola sosta al Schwarzsee (2552m) per poi proseguire per Zermatt.

Formula1, a new passion.
Da quando sono piccola, ho sempre guardato con mio papà la formula 1 alla tv. Mi piaceva vedere le macchine sfrecciare ad altissima velocità, nonostante sembrasse tutto così distante ed intangibile.
Quest’anno ho avuto l’occasione di vedere il tutto dal vivo, ed è completamente un’altra cosa.
Su tutto il weekend in preparazione al gran premio, ho assistito alle giornate del giovedì e del sabato.
Giovedì 1 settembre io e il miei fratelli abbiamo partecipato alla sessione autografi lungo la Pit-Lane dell’autodromo nazionale di Monza. ad intervalli diversi, i piloti della formula 1 si affacciavano dai loro box in cui i meccanici della scuderia mettevano a punto la loro monoposto.
Inutile dire che i box più affollati erano quelli della Ferrari e della Mercedes, ai quali non siamo neanche riusciti ad avvicinarci.
In compenso abbiamo collezionato le firme di altri piloti come Magnussen, Palmer e Perez.
Subito dopo c’è stata la partita di beneficenza per il terremoto in centro italia. Cinque piloti e cinque vecchie glorie della championes league. La Heineken, organizzatrice dell’evento, ha raccolto 32'000 euro, dando anche un bello spettacolo per i tifosi.
Il sabato, invece, abbiamo assistito alle prove libere e alla qualificazione per la pole position, che ha visto posizionarsi entrambe le Ferrari in seconda fila, terzo e quarto posto.
L’atmosfera era meravigliosa, tra la folla si sentiva il calore e la passione dei tifosi: ogni volta che una monoposto Ferrari sfrecciava davanti alla tribuna, partiva un incontrollabile boato quasi pari al frastuono che le macchine producevano facendo vibrare l’asfalto della pista.
Purtroppo ho dovuto seguire la gara il giorno seguente dalla tv a casa mia.
Come previsto, la corsa ha visto vincenti le Mercedes di Rosberg e di Hamilton, seguite dalle due Ferrari di Vettel e Raikkonen.
Dallo schermo, quello che gli anni prima vedevo così anonimo, ha iniziato a significare qualcosa di più, segnando l’inizio di una nuova passione.
Since I was a kid, I have always watched the races of Formula1 with my dad on the tv. I liked to see the cars darting at high speed, but it always seemed distant to me. This year I had the opportunity to see all in real life, and it’s completely different. On the entire Weekend of preparation for the Grand Prix of Monza, I could witness the days of Thursday and Saturdays. Thursday 1st of September me and my brothers entered to the autograph session along the Pit-Lane of Monza’s Racetrack. At different intervals, the pilots showed up from their boxes in which the mechanics of the stable were still working on the last details of their single-seater car. Needless to say, Mercedes and Ferrari’s boxes were crowded. We haven’t been able to get close enough. On the other hand, we collected the autographs of other pilots, as Magnussen, Palmer and Perez. Right after there were the football charity game between 5 pilots and 5 old-timers player of Champions League. Heineken, the promoted of the event, collected 32’000€ to be set aside for the earthqueek in the center of Italy. On Saturday we have seen the practice session and the qualifying session. Both Ferrari cars have finished on the second line, which means third and fourth place. The mood was wonderful: into the crowd you could feel the passion of the fans. Whenever the red Ferrari passed by, the roar of the crowd was very loud, like the rumble of the cars making the asphalt vibrate. Unfortunately, the day after I had to follow the race from home. As expected, Rosberg and Hamilton, the pilots of Mercedes won the race followed by the Ferrari’s pilots Vettel and Raikkonen. From the screen, what I have always seen so distant to me, this time was more real and exciting. It’s the start of a new intrest.

La Torre Normanna, The Norman Tower
È bello quando la città natale di tuo padre, dove vai ogni anno, tutte le vacanze, ha ancora segreti in serbo. Posti di cui non eri a conoscenza o che hai sempre ignorato. Una domenica di Luglio, al posto che passeggiare lungo il mercato come eravamo soliti, io e la mia famiglia abbiamo fatto i turisti, andando a visitare la Torre Normanna, simbolo di San Marco Argentano (Cosenza). La Torre, probabilmente costruita dai Normanni intorno alla metà del XI secolo, è oggi visitabile solo in parte. Imponente dall’esterno. Recintata da un muro di pietra, è alta 22 metri con un diametro di 14. L’interno, oggi spoglio, è composto da una serie di stanze sovrapposte collegate da cunicoli stretti, fino ad arrivare al punto più alto: la terrazza panoramica dalla quale si può ammirare tutta San Marco. In particolare dall’altezza di circa 460m slm si può intravedere il mare dal versante ionico. Un’altra particolarità è che guardando verso nord-ovest una linea retta collega la torre ad un’altra: la torre di Malvito. Trovo affascinante il sistema di controllo dei Normanni, che scelsero i punti più strategici per poter vedere al meglio tutta la valle. Questo è un monumento importante e degno di nota, e credo che dovrebbe essere più valorizzato in quando risorsa turistica.
It’s charming when your father’s home town, which you visit every year, every holiday, still have secrets for you: places that you didn’t know or that you have always ignored.
A Sunday in July, instead of walk through the town market as usual, my family and I did the tourists, and we went to visit the Norman tower, symbol of San Marco Argentano, in the province of Cosenza.
The tower, built from the Normans probably around the XI century, today is visitable only in part.
Imposing from the outside: high 22 meters and 14 meters of diameter, is gated by a stone wall.
The inside, bare, is composed of a serie of chambers superimposed, connected by narrow tunnels, which lead to a panoramic terrace from where you can admire the whole city.
In particular, from the height of 460 meters or so, you can catch a glimpse of the ionic seaside.
Another particularity is that towards northwest, in a beeline there is another tower: the Malvito tower.
I think that tue Norman’s system of control is charming: they choose the most strategical points in order to have a complete visual of the valley.
The Norman Tower is a notable monument, and it should be more enhanced as touristic resource.
