PCIe 6.0 spec announced with 256GB/s transfer speeds, twice that of 5.0
Does anyone have a time machine, we want to see the Future?
The PCI-SIG (Peripheral Component Interconnect Special Interest Group) has just announced the PCIe 6.0 specification. That’s rather quick given that PCIe 5.0 specs were made public just a month ago. And it’s way ahead of the market adoption rate for PCIe 4.0 for which consumers have just started to get excited about.

AMD 64-Core Threadripper Monster is in the Making ,would be Landing Late Q4 2019 [Exclusive]
Did you think AMD was done with Threadripper? Well, if that’s what you thought, I have some good news. I have confirmation that the company is preparing an absolutely monstrous 64-core/128-thread Threadripper part for launch in Q4 2019.
AMD’s largest HEDT processor right now is the W2990X which tops out at 32-cores. This is nothing to sneeze at and is already the highest core HEDT part around but…

AMD’s 7nm Ryzen APU in the Plan
AMD’s 7nm Ryzen APU in the Plan
Looks like AMD is Planning For 7nm Ryzen APUs
So this is the last chapter of the information I recently received from one of my sources in AMD. I asked about AMD’s plans for a Raven Ridge refresh on the 7nm node and can confirm that it is indeed happening and the company plans to roll them out “roughly 4 months after the launch of Navi”.Since Navi is launching on 7/7 that would put the expected…

AMD Ryzen 9 3950X 16 Core CPU Benchmark Leaked, Totally Bomb The Intel Core i9-9980XE 18 Core CPU in Single and Multi-Threaded Workloads
AMD may have created the most powerful mainstream processor to date when it comes to multi-threaded workloads. Their Ryzen 9 3950X fulfills the promise of HEDT performance on mainstream platforms but taking on their rival’s flagship 18 core chip at stock clocks, that’s a whole new level for mainstream performance.

I have just received a very long list of leaks from a reliable source at NVIDIA regarding the company’s upcoming SUPER lineup and boyis it good. It looks like NVIDIA is getting ready to unleash all its fury in one sweeping lineup change and is bringing all its cannons to bear. Seems like Jensen is done playing around…

Opinion: AMD's game-play now paying off
Opinion: AMD’s game-play now paying off
Aggressively going after leading-edge 7nm CPUs, GPUs and pursuing a chiplet strategy For a company that just a few years ago some people had essentially written off as dead, AMD has certainly come a long way. Not only are they one of the top ten best performing stocks of 2019 so far (after enjoying similarly high rankings for all of 2018), the company recently announced major new partnerships…

Features 2560 Cores, 8 GB GDDR6 VRAM and Up To 1905 MHz Clock Speeds
The final specifications of the AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card featuring the 7nm Navi GPU architecture have leaked out by Videocardz. The specifications confirm one of the two Radeon RX 5700 series graphics cards which are arriving in the mainstream gaming segment in July 2019.
AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT Specs Leak Out: 2560 Cores, 8 GB GDDR6 VRAM, 9.75 TFLOPs Compute Power
The AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT is based on the 7nm Navi GPU which makes use of the latest RDNA core architecture. According to AMD themselves, the RDNA architecture brings a revamped CU or Compute Unit design which should deliver much better gaming performance than the existing line of GCN based graphics cards. Some of the key upgrades on Navi GPUs will include:
New Compute Unit Design
Multi-Level Cache Hierarchy
Streamlined Graphics Pipeline
#gallery-0-5 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-5 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 100%; } #gallery-0-5 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-5 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
In terms of specifications, the Radeon RX 5700 XT comes with 40 compute units in total and since AMD has already confirmed that the compute unit design still features 64 stream processors, we will be getting 2560 stream processors in total. The chip itself is clocked at 1605 MHz base clock but includes two additional clock speeds, a boost clock, and a game clock. The boost clock is rated at 1905 MHz while the game clock is rated at 1755 MHz. What I can make of the differences from these two is that the boost is the maximum speed the reference card would be able to hit, but the average clock speeds while gaming is the ‘game clock’ itself.
With the said boost clock, AMD expects a maximum of 9.75 TFLOPs of single-precision compute from the Radeon RX 5700 XT. The card is also confirmed to feature 8 GB of GDDR6 memory that should run across a 256-bit wide bus interface. It will be interesting to see if AMD chooses the same 14 Gbps GDDR6 dies as NVIDIA does or go for the more cheaper alternatives that operate at 10-12 Gbps. In addition to that, it should be pointed out that since there is an XT variant, there should also be a cut-down Pro variant which has always been the case for AMD graphics cards. So it won’t be a surprise if AMD also has a Radeon RX 5700 Pro ready for announcement during their E3 ‘Next Horizon’ event.
AMD Radeon RX 5700 ‘Navi GPU’ First Details Unveiled – Two SKUs With 180W and 150W TDPs
In addition to the concepts, we managed to grab some more details from our insiders at Computex who told us some info on the upcoming Radeon RX 5000 graphics cards. According to our sources, the AMD Radeon RX 5000 series is said to feature two variants, a 180W TDP model with 225W TBP (Total Board Power) and a 150W TDP model with a 180W TBP. AMD showed a demo of their Radeon RX 5700 graphics card against the GeForce RTX 2070 which itself is a 180W TDP graphics card.
AMD Radeon Navi RX 5700 Leaked Specs & Rumored Pricing

[/su_table]
We have already been shown some demos of the Radeon RX 5000 series graphics card performing 10% faster than the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 and we also know that at least two variants will be launching, a 180W TDP (225W TBP) priced around $499 US and a 150W TDP (180W TBP) SKU priced around $399 US. The pricing is still not confirmed but we expect more details at the Next Horizon Event at E3 in a few weeks so make sure to stay tuned for our coverage on that.
