It’s time! Pre-orders are now live for PRISM! Follow your favorite Russian ice skaters on their lifelong journey through all colors and flavors of relationships. 

This 84-page physical zine contains 8 short stories and 48 pieces of art from an international team of creators focusing on Victor Nikiforov and Yuri Plisetsky. 

PRISM features several pieces of artwork for each of our seven theme colors, complete with bonus spreads and illustrations for many of our short stories, from artists around the world:

We’re SO DANG CLOSE. I can’t believe it’s real? Soon people get to hold this in their hands, this project we’ve all been working on for so long, almost a year in some cases. We ran up against so many issues and sore spots and somehow powered through it all, and I am proud beyond proud of everyone’s dedication and contributions.

I’ve been quiet recently because so much of my time and energy has gone into this zine. It’s my first one, I wound up being a solo mod, and just for bonus difficulty I got pregnant mid-way through the project.

SO the fact that it’s finally all coming together has me a bit gobsmacked. The work that the artists and writers have contributed is stunningly beautiful and I’m just buzzing at this point as we approach preorders.

If you have any interest in Yuri On Ice, in Victor Nikiforov and Yuri Plisetsky, in colors and gradients and minimal palettes, I really hope you’ll give it a look :)

This is my Nanowrimo novel this year. I was feeling a bit low and wanted colors and clouds and lots of love. I’m way behind on posting vs writing, but writing should be finished up in the next three days, and I’ll be posting a new chapter daily :)

Yuri on Ice fic recs

Ok, it’s been so long since I made one! I greatly miss sharing stuff I read. For a while, I had some issues and wasn’t reading a lot of fics for any fandom at all. But now I am back, and this is going to be a mix of fics. As with any fic recs I post, please take care to read the complete set of tags, etc. We all have different preferences but I just wanted to share stuff I like/enjoyed reading the past week or so.  I know that not everyone reads omegaverse or anything moderately NSFW. Sorry because some of these things might have spicy content. I will try to post a list at least once a month or something. From time to time I do reblog some fic posts from the writers’ blogs.  But for now, this is my list. Enjoy! Waste of Paint by kaywaeeve Otayuri College AU. Flustered Otabek. Artist Yuri. I like that Yuuri, Phichit, Leo and Otabek are friends in this fic. I like the dynamics of the friendship. So aside from the main ship here, the friendship is fun to read.

Pillow Talk by magicalyoyo Sara and Mila and the stories they weave together. Beautifully written dynamics between the two.

the beginnings just another end by @undadasea Viktuuri. With cute Phichuuri friendship moments. It’s a chat-format fic. But I love the interactions here especially between Phichit and Yuuri, Viktor and Yuri. Of course, the cuteness of Viktuuri here is just precious.

The Animal that Burned Down by @vita-orlando Viktuuri. What if they woke up together after the banquet? This fic tells how it might have been. Black Water by @nomanono Otayuri. Travel fic. How friends travel. Short and sweet (at the end) fic. Rearranging My Heart by @d2diamond Otayuri. A/B/O. Royalty AU. An arranged marriage? Yuri demands a tournament instead. Interesting how things turned out. Precocious by @emmylynna Viktuuri. A/B/O. This is a long fic which I’ve been following and it’s a fascinating read on soulmates and A/B/O. Precocious has the skaters in AU where they are kids. Late Bloomer by @frilly-axolotl Otayuri. A/B/O. An AU where Yuri hides his being an omega and Otabek presents so late as an alpha. Interesting how things will be like. The Dichotomy of Love by @phoenixwaller Otayuri. A/B/O. Yuri is an omega on the run. Otabek is an artist looking for a model. How would that work out? Best (Fucking) Friends by @zeldaismyhomegirl Otayuri. Because I cannot resist reading a fic where Yuri pines for his best friend.

Hanami by @greygerbil Georgi/Mari. A rare pair. Such a sweet fic for these two.

A Road Paved Blind by @punktsuki Otayuri. Bonnie and Clyde AU. Organized Crime AU. First two chapters got me interested in what might happen.

We fell in love with RadiusZero’s work the moment we saw her punk goth Victor, and the rest of her portfolio was an equally satisfying and utterly wild trip through the rainbow. Her use of color and texture creates an immediate and unique mood, all rendered in a clean, painterly style. Soft-blended hues and supple gradients mix with sharp points and angles to create a vast array of emotion - everything we could dream of for PRISM! Victuuri and Otayuri!
