you know what trope pisses me off the most? when the protag is pointing a gun at somebody and they’re like “you won’t do it. you’re too good” and the person holding the gun is like oh shit i am and they slowly lower the gun while the other person laughs. Tessa grinned to herself as she wrapped the talisman in a piece of velvet cloth and placed it into the safety of the inner pocket of her leather jacket. She zipped the jacket up before pulling out her phone to message the buyer. While the talisman itself wasn’t much to look at, it was worth millions. Today was going to be a big payday once the transaction was complete.

Of course, considering how much the talisman was worth, Tessa wasn’t going to be the only one looking for it. So it didn’t surprise her that she spotted someone lurking in the shadows. With a sigh, she put her phone back in her pocket and brought out her gun from its holster on her hip. She aimed it at the person in the shadows.

“I suggest you do not try to engage in any kind of fisticuffs,” Tessa warned. “I am not afraid to hurt you or even kill you if I have to.”

Looking over at her he took the bottle and had a swig himself. “Next time.. Go to Doctor Strange or something.. He used to be an actual surgeon.” 

“Doctor Strange doesn’t like me enough to help me,” Tessa explained as she examined Wade’s work. She was going to have a new scar to add to her collection but she didn’t mind that. She was happy to not be bleeding any more. “You like me just enough though. Hence why I’m here.”
