Hi. I don’t know if I will be quitting the Internet, most likely not, but I’m currently extremely scared. With Israel’s attacks on Iran, and all the tensions in the world my extreme paranoid fear of war has been making me unable to sleep or eat, getting tagged in fundraiser posts with pictures of dying children, seeing posts that are formatted in the „hey look at this cute character !! Now that I got your attention (extremely detailed description of something extremely disturbing)“ format , even on the billboard news things outside in the city I see these things. I know I should know about it , I know I should support the right thing but all off this is genuinely becoming too much. This is too much for me. Please. do not involve me in any of these topics (bolded so the people who don’t wanna read all of this still see the main point) I am being dead serious, this is a genuine threat to me and my mental and physical health. Getting told all these things is overwhelming to me. I cannot sleep because I am genuinely terrified of getting attacked. I am scared of vacation because of war. I can’t bring myself to eat sometimes. I have been dissociating (I think that’s how you describe it ?) a lot , just to feel safe. I am repeating myself but I’m genuinely struggling to be coherent right now. Everything has been getting worse, and I can’t handle so many things anymore. I know people have it worse then me , I know I should be grateful to be safe right now instead of scared, but I can’t. It’s all freaking me out.
